Was at the Baby Company preview sale today. Daming discounted items. Bought some staples, a few toys and happily spent only less than 2k. Punta na kayo mga sis.

Yes it's true sis. I was there yesterday also. Was able to buy crib, avent newborn starter kit and socks. Will go back later. Got tired easily.hahaha!

Mothercare and Carters/oshkosh Bigosh/Nafnaf in Podium are also on-sale. Avent newborn starter is 2100 while in Baby Company is 2150. Bought also a 3 pc sleepsuit in mothercare yesterday for P650.

there is a mommy mundo bazaar at the fun ranch in ortigas tomorrow and sunday. maraming online sellers who participate there so you can get great deals. I will try to go nga eh, kasi I remember dati ang dami ko nabili na damit for my baby.

Scholastic has a booksale from March 10 to April 5 (except Sundays), 9am to 6pm in their warehouse at #70 C. Raymundo Ave. Rosario, Pasig City. Some books sell for as low as 49 and 99 pesos, choose 20 books at 499 pesos and there are books that have 60% discount. Just got this text message. We were able to go there before to buy books and I gave them my number so I can get updates. Sharing this to moms with kids who love to read.

What are the must haves ba for first time moms?  So far I got na medela freestyle breast pump, that my sister got ng USD411.33.  Grrrh napamahal pa talaga siya!

^It depends on how your envision your lifestyle once the baby arrives, some items listed as must haves for some moms (like strollers) aren't considered as needed by other moms.

A lot of items I bought I ended up not using - like the changing pad. Even crib comforters and pillows were not necessary for me - just crib sheets.

Where can i buy books and educational toys for babies? My baby just turned 3 months old and would like to expose her to books na as much as possible. We have a couple of hand-me-down board books from her cousins and she loves most of them, especially the ones with big, colorful and shiny illustrations.
