Dra. Toy is my OB as well as my mom's, sister's and cousin's OB. Suki talaga sya sa family namin because she's very nice, maalaga and malambing.  I was in labor for 3 days and talagang inalagaan nya ko. Di rin sya naningil ng mahal. 1 hr and 27 minutes ako sa delivery room, 3 minutes to go before ma-CS pero talagang patient sya at napa normal nya ko. Sa FEU ako nanganak. Mabait ang mga nurses and residents.  Contrary to some posts I read, di naman sya kamahalan. 70k ang total bill namin considering ang tagal ko dun, at lahat na yata ng gamot na-ingest ko.  For mommies who are looking for a good OB, I suggest try nyo si Dra. Toy!

^ hi sis. sa chmc din ako manganganak but my OB's dra. michelle dela cruz. she's also the hospital's sonologist and has her own clinic.

I was confined here for 5 days due to premature labor and I must say okay services nila and facilities.

I don't know your OB sis but I can definitely vouch for dra. dela cruz. I've been to 5 different OBs before her and I must say sya lang ang sobrang caring and nakakapalagay ng loob. getting in touch with her is very easy din. hindi sya mahal maningil.

^ Hello! Hoping to keep this thread alive.
I'm 12 weeks pregnant and wanted to switch my OB  to ones that you girls mentioned above and to Commonwealth Hospital. I am currently seeing my OB Dra. Solis at FEU hospital and was just shocked that she quoted 80k for the very basic and normal delivery of y baby, ward as in basic daw. I just find it too expensive!

Dun sa mga nanganak na po dito sa CMHMC, can you share po yung mga total bill nyo and suggested ob na mabilis po kaagaan ng loob? this is my 1st pregnancy and super takot lang ako dun sa mga mag aassist.

Any update po will help a help since some posts mentioned above are dated year 2012 and 2013 pa.

ang OB ward nila, 3 bed capacity na aircon. last time i was confined there for premature labor, walang tao sa ward so dun ako and parang big private room sya dahil ako lang nandun for several days. small private room is lugi pa nga kasi ang liit talaga. kapag nanganak ako and nsd i'll get the ward ulit. ang ward sa feu hindi aircon and ang dami nyo sa isang ward.

that is also the reason why ayaw ko sa FEU. overpriced lahat. i worked there as a nurse before and honestly, mahal talaga lahat. mahal pero hindi ganon kaganda ang facilities nila. mas maganda and mabait mga nurses sa chmc.

as for the OBs, better if you pay them a visit yourself. sila parin naman mga OBs dun.

Yung quote na binigay sayo is super affordable compared to FEU. Hindi ko inexpect na ganun kamaha kasi hen I was having all my 1st trimester tests and transv eh interns ang nag aasikaso sakin, naputukan pa nga ako ng ugat sa braso dahil sa mali ang tusok. >.<

As much as possible sana hindi lumagpas ng 50-60k ang expenses para more budget for baby's stuff.

When are you due po? Let's keep in touch para updated sa CMHMC experience. I want a normal delivery sana like you. Actually if meron lang water -home birth mas pipiliin ko yun kasi takot talaga ako sa mga doctor at hospital. hehe.

Gusto ko malaman ang birth experience mo with your baby and  expenses sa Commonwealth Hospital para makapag prepare din po kami ng partner ko.

Hi newbie here I'm 27weeks sa capitol med ako nagpa prenatal for convenience walking distance malapit kasi sa work ko. I saw your post and I'm interested to give birth in this hospital and i'm looking for an OB referral lilipat na ko mahal kasi sa capitol med 70k for NSD with Epidural. malapit naman CHMC sa bahay namin.. ask lang sis if 40k na quote sayo ng OB mo for NSD is with epidural including PF's ng Ane and pedia? ^ mahal talaga sa capitol sis. dun nanganak mom ko, 1996 pa, NSD nya is around 60k. e sobrang tagal na yun hehe! i think mostly because sa PF ng doctors kaya mahal. dun ko nga rin plano mag prenatal before or sa st lukes kaso ang layo sa bahay namin. ang hassle pala ng prenatal sa malayong hospital, haha.

maganda naman experience ko sa CHMC. bago kasi hospital kaya napaganda nila facilities nila.

Hello mommies.   newbie here, 33 weeks pregnant 2nd child, also planning to give birth at CHMC.  I'm due this coming April 15.  My OB is Dra. Samson, she is also my OB in my 1st son, pero hindi pa sa CHMC ako nanganak before.  I hope you could share birthing experiences at CHMC and some helpful tips - what to pack / bring, what to expect.

gave birth here last feb 6. emergency CS semi-private room (yun lang kasi available that time), OB is Dra. Michelle Dela Cruz, total bill is 53k inclusive of philhealth deduction. facilities, i'm having severe pre-eclampsia nung na admit ako, i was hooked on automatic bp monitoring plus fetal and contraction monitor. maayos facilities nila, mababait nurses and magagaling mag insert ng IV nurses dito hehe. mga CR sa rooms malinis din. parang twice or thrice a day yata nagpupunta naglilinis e. nurses nila traditional uniforms hehe.

i was able to save up a lot sa operation ko kasi my OB is so, so, so, so mabait. i have no words. she initially quoted me 80k nung first meeting namin pero as we went along our check ups, ultrasound scans, napapansin ko OB is not in the habit of charging everything sa patient nya. during my emergency CS, OB has her own emergency she's attending to but she still took the time na puntahan ako and do the operation herself. mas malaki pa discount nya sa PF than the PF itself and I didn't even ask for it kasi I feel na i owe her a lot talaga. puro praises lang ako kay OB for taking extremely good care of me sa entire high risk pregnancy ko.

overall, i think CHMC is a good hospital. malinis and maayos ang facilities saka hindi sila mahal. ang ER ay hindi overcrowded unlike sa FEU na parang gov't hospital sa dami ng tao sa ER. haha

I didnt have an excellent experience with her din. Not bad naman kaya lang hindi ko sya mahagilap dahil paiba iba ng clinic. Saka minsan di ko alam saan ko pwede i-contact kasi iba iba nga clinic. It's a good thing i met my current ob. Nagkataon na nalipat ako sa kanya kasi dra. Toy was always unavailable. I skipped 2mos ng check up dahil hindi ko sya maabutan. Sa clinic nya minsan pupunta ako pero hindi makakarating or sobrang late na. Nahirapan ako mameet schedule nya.

I just got back from my monthly check-up at CMCH

My OB is Dra.Rowena Vega, she's lovely, caring, and sweet at super linis sa katawan. Haha! She's my second OB and settling for her. My 1st was in FEU, nag transfer kami kasi OA sa pricing ang FEU hospital.

I was able to ask din price for normal and around 40-50k all in na daw. hoping na mag normal ako at wag ma CS.

I like CHMC better, malinis kasi talaga tsaka bago yung facilities and malapit sa bahay at sa SM.

50 K din po ang quote sa akin sa CHMS with Dra. Samson, around 80K naman daw if CS.
