hello mga sis... just want to ask may plus vat ba ang hearts and bells? nakapackage kase ako sa Oasis then nag upgrade ako ng cake, so I add plus 5,500...kaso through my AE in Oasis ako nagpa upgrade not directly to hearts and bells. I already paid the said amount to Oasis, but my AE in Oasis ask me yesterday that i need to pay additional for the vat. I'm confuse kase sa flyers na i get from hearts and bells through bridal fair, nakalagay don yung mga prices ng cakes but no highlights of additonal VAT...Thank you in advance.

SIs Anakimi, i suggest pa deduct mo na lang yon 5500 sa balance ng account mo tas contact mo na lang hearts and bells direkta. I really dont like their AEs parang di nila alam gingawa nila...😡

sis Anakimi check with hearts and bells regarding the payment for the upgrade to cross-check with oasis before you pay the vat. pag na-confirm ni h&b na walang payment for vat, hayaan mo sila mag-usap ni oasis about it. don't pay the charge unless you get confirmation from both.

moving forward, friendly reminder lang sis, don't pay any upgrades sa AE ng oasis kahit naka-package pa. i made this clear during our discussions with oasis and their partner suppliers. any upgrade for catering, cake or photobooth should be paid sa respective supplier and not through oasis.

tbh, oasis was a cause of stress for us during our preps and even AFTER the wedding. kaya make sure that all your transactions and conversations with your AE are well-documented dahil anlabo nilang kausap to the nth level minsan.

hi sa mga oasis brides.. just finish our wedding yesterday!.just want to warn you all.. please check everything as in everything before you start and leave the venue!. just this morning oasis called us to inform that we might be charge for the damage sa venue. what damage?, may nabakbak na pintura sa isang sulok ng venue!. nakakaloka.. haaay... anyway, by tomorrow they will inform me daw how much is that damage!. so bukas na ako makikipag argue, medyo pagod din kasi ako kanina to argue... wala na talagang magandang nagawa sakin tong venue na to, bukod sa maganda [textspeak!] yung place nila.. sorry to vent out mga sis. asar lang talaga.

Oasis brides and b2bs, especially those who availed of the venue + caterer package, sino ang pinili ninyong caterer?

I've had attended na kasi the food tasting of Josiah's, Hizon's, CVJ, and Verleo (Tamayo's and Richgold are no longer affiliated with them). Each of the caterers have their own pro's and con's and I'm having a difficult time deciding on which one to get. Of course, #1 priority is food, but styling and service are also important.

Ladies, I'd like to hear from you. Thanks in advance!

Hi! December bride here. We booked (Pavilion) last year pa. Maling decision lang namin is we availed venue+caterer package. Anyway, pinaka ok for us based on taste test is Verleo.

hi sis yanieganda, you're on w@w din right? i replied to your post there. hehe

basta word of caution sa mga soon-to-be-oasis brides, be prepared talaga sa mga posibleng mahahabang diskusyon at debate sa mga AE nila kase may pagka-malabo talaga silang kausap minsan.  >:(

OASIS MANILA couples, you want to hear more kwento para you are aware of what might happen to your events? read on. i will just write here what has happened in my past events. be the judge.

1. March couple. i told the bride be careful sa mga extra charges especially that Rejectkrew is not in good terms with them. true enough, instead of the usual 30amperes na sinasabi ni elemer, they want the couple to pay for 40amperes. couple computed what might be the consumption kasi they are engineers, reply ng oasis:

Dear Sir

Sorry for the misunderstanding. We are not forcing you to get 40 amps of electricity.  Based on our experience with reject crew , their 30 amps is actually not accurate. So we are just informing you of your options.  Everything is black and white. If you request for a 30 amps breaker we will provide you with 30 amps.  If there is any power interruption , we will not be liable. Bec the 30 amps would only be for your sound system and lights by reject crew. Your option on the day will be to remove the excess amps or equipments. It is still your choice whether to proceed with 30 amps or 40 amps.

I hope this clarifies the matter .

groom was so mad, nag-curse na sya sa email. but we didnt win. nagbayad pa din sila. walang choice.

2. june event. i handled a wedding for a church friend so it's as if ako ikakasal, lahat ng transactions sa akin, contract sa akin. i went to the office a few days or maybe 2 weeks before the wedding date. they asked me to sign the gate pass. i mentioned i might have a mixed balls and sago gulaman cart plus 2 air coolers but not sure pa. 4 days before the wedding they were calling/texting me about the gate pass. sabi ko i signed na. wala daw. sabi ko ano yung pina-sign nyo? if that's not a gate pass bakit kung kailan andun ako, walang nagpa-sign? at kung wala akong sinign, bakit nyo alam na may air coolers ako at mixed balls? tapos they said, kung di po kayo magsa-sign, di po makakapasok ang suppliers. again. dead end. di ka man lang umamin na naiwala mo gate pass na sinign ko?

3. same june event. sabi nya ang coolers ko 500 na for 2 units. nung nagpa-compute na ako anong ibabawas nila sa security deposit ko, nilagay 500 each air coolers. sabi ko may text ka sakin 500 for 2 coolers na. sabi nya ok. malamang ok, e nasa text convo namin yun! hindi ba sila nagtetake notes?

4. same june event. yung deep fryer umangat yung oil, tumapon sa grass. alam ko na the next day titirahin nila ako. so tama ako, nagtext. nadamage ang grass. sabi ko corn oil yun, wala dapat effect sa damo. aabsorb lang ng lupa. sabi ko take photos. di na nagpadala. di na din ako siningil. so kung di ako nagreklamo, billed na naman ako. hello, kinakain nga natin ang corn oil tapos ang grass maapektuhan?!

5. an event a year ago na yata. binuksan ang bridal room, walang nagcheck or nagpa-check. after the event sinisingil ang couple sa nasunog daw na lamesa dahil sa plantsa. pano namin malalaman na amin yun wala naman nagcheck?

6. another event this year. margarush dumating ng 2pm. they need to freeze the margarita for 2 hours. di pinayagan magsaksak. sabi ni margarush, oks lang. 2pm pa lang naman. 6pm pa serving time nila. come 4pm, nagsaksak na ulit si margarush. sinita ng maintenance. sabi ni margarush, di magpifreeze on time if di pa naisaksak. laking pagtatalo. sumugod ako sa office. sabi ko alam ba ng couple na yung binayaran nilang 500 para sa pagsasaksak ni margarush eh 6pm pa? sabi ni marissa dapat daw alam kasi diniscuss ng marketing nila. sige, sabihin nating nalimot ng couple o di nila alam, di ba kayo pwede mag-adjust tutal bayad yan. isa pa, di makapagtrabaho ng tama ang ibang suppliers dahil sa ginagawa nila. i think they banned that waiter.

7. another event. i needed to adjust the time kasi maaga natapos mass and people will start coming in na. sabi couple lang daw pwede magpa-adjust. sabi ko bat pa ako ni-hire? so kung dumating ang couple dito to sign, that means andito na din lahat ng guests, diba? again, di ba pwede mag-adjust. sa part na yun napilit ko.

8. today's event. guests overflowed. dame bitbit ng ibang guests. i asked hizons if they have extra chairs. understandable wala sila kasi why would they bring extra if not allowed ni oasis. so i asked the office what we can do to help. wala daw silang mapapahiram na silya. sabi ko i have probably 15 guests standing. baka pwede mahiram office chairs. no daw. sabi pa in-advise naman daw nila couple two weeks before regarding extra people. sabi ko alam ko rules nyan. but right now, what we need to do is to find solutions. san kakain ang mga bisita? sa reg daw. wow. sa orchard na reg area? una labas yun, pangalawa, ang init dun. so sabi ko anong sasabihin natin sa mga bisitang nakatayo, na wala silang mauupuan? oo daw. wow. just wow.

9. f878's wedding. ayaw bigyan ng certificate na dun sila kinasal (you need that for christian weddings done in gardens, etc) need daw marriage certificate ng couple. sabi ko, ha? pano kayo magkakacertificate eh ipafile nyo pa lang yun. at para ma-file, need ng certification from them. gulung-gulo kaming dalawa ni f878. i called Jamie, sya lang gusto ko dun and some maintenance people, i asked ano ba hinihingi nyo kasi we are really confused. turned out marriage license pala. dinelay nila ang processing, di naman nila alam anong tawag sa mga papers na need nila. sus.

now, be the judge. sulit ba?

^naku ms ayie dami mo na talaga experience!. nakakainis talaga yung mga damage ek ek nila!. no one was there at your event tapos sabihin nila may damage di ba?. at sasabihin nilang may damage ka, the day after your event!, o wow, pano mo pa ma berify kung sino ang may gawa di ba?. isa pa pala, nagsinungaling sila sakin!.

Oasis bride din ako, we held our wedding ceremony and reception at their garden and pavilion.
Ok naman yong naging experience namin.

Una si Jamie yong AE ko tas they inform me na nilipat kay Ms. Marissa. In my experience, pareho naman sila mabuti sa customer service.
On the day of my wedding, si Jamie lang nakita ko, pinuntahan pa nya ko sa bridal car to greet me.. :)

I got their venue + caterer package, I chose Joasiah's.
Masarap yong food and maganda yong setup. Nasunod lahat ng napagusapan namin.
Maraming tirang food kahit maraming tao, and pinauwi nila samin yong mga tira.
Sobrang laki ng pavilion for 150-200 pax, and luwag unlike sa mga ibang venue :)

On the wedding day itself, may last minute akong kinuhang supplier which is the violinist. They added a mic and told my coordinator that they will just deduct from the deposit. But when I got the deposit, they didn't deduct it...so its like free siguro..heheh.

Overall, ok naman naging experience namin. :)
