enjoyed my trial make up session with Ms bessie super bait pa... she did not ask for dp and super nakakahiya kasi naman naabutan kami ng ulan at doon na naabutan ng lunch. love her style and rapport...

no more problems with the invites... starting to distribute them na. and was lighten up with everything with WC at naexplain na naman sa akin ang mga kelangan gawin sa wedding day...

at 20 days to go naloka ako sa mananahi ng entourage gown ko. wala pa natatahi kahit isa! at mabuti na lang napuntahan namin ng friend ko. yung isang abay ko kasi preggy na at nagworry baka nagbago na yung sukat nya. pagdating doon sa tahian, am expecting na busy busyhan sya at me natapos na... at ang pinaka bonggang bongga sa lahat - mapapalitan sana ang tela. at ang balak eh gagawing chiffon ang lahat ng gown ultimo abay... kaya nga maaga ako nagpasukat ng entou para tapos na tapos yun pala wala pang gawa! grabe!

Marigie – are you getting the candy buffet na? pumayag na si h2b? kumusta ang pagcontact mo with h&h? re the photobooth, if i’m in your shoes and kung wala pa naman kaming photobooth and may nag-offer na 50% off as gift, i’ll grab it sis, re puncher, ang mga nakita / nabili ko are those na isa lang ang shape like heart, flower, 4-leaf clover, etc. sis, pag okie na ang wedding details namin, compare ko sa what you got ha. okie lang? congrats sa mga accomplishments, sis!

SakuraBride – wag ka na magpahassle, sis, sa mga “friends” mo na hindi lang kasama ang boyfriends/girlfriends nila, hindi na attend sa wedding mo. then don’t attend the wedding di ba? sabi nga nila, weddings can test friendships and eto na nga yon for you. i also have my share of this na parang hindi happy ang iba kong “friends” na i’m getting married (actually, single pa rin kasi sila) so for me, if you’re not happy then we will not invite you. ayaw naman namin na meron kaming guest na hindi naman pala happy for us, right? yun dad ko rin hindi pupunta. our relationship naman is so-so pero hindi ko lang din siya feel i-invite and respect ko na lang din sa mom ko. isip ka na lang ng strategy to control your guest flow sa wedding day especially for those na hindi nag-rsvp pero alam mo na pupunta. grrrrr! hay! lapit na ng wedding, sis. dapat chillax na para blushing bride ka on your BIG day! best wishes!

chiclet – sis re design of wedding gown, i think that’s normal naman for brides. yun lang, check mo rin talaga with your couturier kasi definitely, they have something in mind that’ll best fit you. so nabook mo na si elmer? tee hee!. we got common suppliers if so, ktg and rejectkrew happy naman ako na you’re getting your cake topper from luckycharmz. she is so nice, sis! you’ll love her! re monogram hub, she is a great find too! ang bilis niya nagawa ng monogram namin. now, siya na talaga ang naghihintay na matapos ko ang wordings for our wedding details. chillax mode na naman ako. awwwww! congrats sis for booking your hmua, i checed her portfolio and very nice din ang mga make-over nya. magpapa-tmu ka ba sa kanya?

boudoir shoot – sissies, thank you so much for appreciating all the pictures i shared. grabe, i’m overwhelmed! Super thankful talaga ako to lady_frost, to my entourage’s hmua (angel) and to my friend stylist (lai-ann) for a very productive boudoir shoot. natuwa ako kasi even Tito Boy loved the pix and the make-up. hahahaha.

Hi sisses!I'm back...mushroom mode kasi my lola died and just had the cremation yesterday.Tapos I'm on leave sa office for 6 weeks kasi I'm scheduled for a gallbladder operation...kamusta nman yun pending na ko sa wedding prep kasi after operation bedrest talaga ako.Anyway more time naman for research ako ngaun...I'm planning to book our host,L&S, and groom and male entourage.For host,I'm getting Bien Rivera siguro (thanks sis chubbycheeks for this),L&S wala pa...halos lahat ng napagtanungan ko fullybooked na sa date namen,sa groom and male entourage outfit may prospect supplier na ko kaso hindi pa ko makapagdecide sa outfit nila...sisses ano mas maganda:
1.) 3-pcs coat set for the groom (gray with navy blue tie) and vest pants with the male entourage (gray vest and pants,mustard yellow tie plus white long sleeves) or
2.) coat barong for the groom and ordinary barong for the male entourage
can't decide si h2b kasi game nman kahit ano.hirap din pala kapag ok lang lahat sa h2b hirap kaya magdecide.
bye muna need na namen magcheck-in sa hospital for my operation hehe.Happy preps to all.

question naman mga sisses.... h2b will be visiting us together with his family.. ang "pamamanhikan".. usually anong oras ang punta sa bahay ng family nila? ask kasi niya ako kaso wala pa akong naexperience na ganun.. hehe... TIA!

Hi mga sis! Grabe dami ko na utang na back read, di na ko makafollow.. wahh!

Updates: Nabusy kami this past week sa kakameet ng suppliers at ng kung ano ano pa.. Pero I'm happy to say madami din kami naaccomplish this time, compared nung November kasi walang traffic at wala nang pasok ang schools!

Invitations: nameet na namin si Ms. Anna from Global Invitations. Okay ang designs nila, anganda.. And compared sa ibang suppliers na napag tanungan namin okay na ang price nila. They have as low as 35 pesos for invitations. At sa price na 150 and up, magandang maganda na yung invitation, naamaze ako. nadiscuss na namin yung details ng design and materials we'd like to have and may price na rin.. To be confirmed ulit kasi si mommy namamahalan naman.. haha! Eh si h2b okay na daw yun kasi kelan pa daw kami ulit mag finalize ng invitations. We'll see..

Gown: in 10 days, thrice ako nagpunta kay Ms. Tessa hahaha! First punta was to fit the lining. Okay naman na yung fit, sabi mejo lumuwag sakin ng konti, pero generally okay na yung fit. Then 2nd punta was to pay for the downpayment and she showed us their garden sa Kingsville subd. Ganda ng garden, pwede rin dun mag events, hindi kalakihan pero can accommodate 200 guests din yata.. 3rd punta was to see yung nagawa na nila yiiee.. Sabi kasi ni Ms. Tessa ipupush nya na may mapakita na sila sakin kahit papano para daw makampante ako.. Ms. Marites, yung isang seamstress nya, showed me the top already! and a part nung skirt na gagawin nila.. naexcite naman ako na kinakabahan! Sana worth it talaga yung price ng dress ko sa magiging outcome..  napasukatan ko na rin ang isang FG.

Suit: we went to Tito Vir for h2b's measurement ulit. Nasukatan na sya nung November kaso tagal na kasi nun, so sinukatan ulit siya, sakto din kasi mejo nag gain si h2b! Hahaha! Then nag down na rin kami 50% and by July pwede na kunin ni h2b ang suit nya! wee.. Ambilis!

Bm's dresses: finally, may supplier na kami.. Yung mom ng classmate ko nun college spoke to her din, ang daldal na makwento, gave me tips regarding my gown din hihi.. paid 50% din ng rates. Next step ang measurements ng mga bm's sad lang kasi 2 of my bm's won't make it to our wedding, hindi kasi sila makakauwi eh.. but okay lang kasi shempre prioritize nila muna ang career nila.

Florist: Nameet na namin si Ysabela, okay na okay kausap si Ms. Wheng, mabait saka really friendly sya.. okay din yung mga pegs nila.. and kuha nila yung gusto namin.. They sent us the contract na, just need to finalize with h2b. We met with Amaranthus din, sa grand food tasting ng Eloquente sa Gazebo Royale, kaso parang walang gana kausap si kuya, so na turn off ako.. haha! We're choosing between Flowers Unlimited and Ysabela Florist.

Cupcakes: We met with ms. Jacqui of Lil Cupcake Shop. Sobrang bait din nya, and may free taste pa kami ng cupcakes nya. moist yung cupcakes nya, and tamang tamis lang din.. she gave us ideas din para sa setup ng cupcakes na pwede nyang gawin.. price is okay din. And since may colleague si h2b na nag offer na sponsor ang cupcakes, sa palagay namin okay na kami kay Ms. Jacqui. We met with Pretty Minis din, kaya lang mejo expensive sila, they offer ice cream bar, cookies, loaf cakes, cupcakes.. They also do setups na cute, kaso lang expensive nga. And we like Ms. Jacqui's cupcakes more..

Wedding: h2b and I were able to attend a wedding last March 28 sa Mt. Carmel din and Atrium (LoL). We actually didn't get to go into the church kasi sarado yung gate, so we thought nandun na sila sa reception, kaso wala pang tao nun dumating kami. haha! kami ang unang guests! Saw the setup sa Atrium and nag woworry ako kasi parang masikip pala talaga, eh yung sa wedding na yun 14 round tables.. what more kung mas madami pa..wahh..

Props: pinagsama sama ko na ang mga wedding props etc. andami pala.. hahaha! I forgot about the candles na binili ko para pang decor sa tables, nakita ko nalang the other day.. bought hankies sa quiapo for my female ento (in case maiyak sila, hahaha!) and hankies for ninangs din, need nalang embroidery bought  fans din for ninang, tas yun nalang lalagyan ng flowers. For ninong, wala pa.. hahaha!

Photobooth: we went to Fabfoto's office, kaso wala dun si Ms. Shirleen, kasi buntis daw pala and delicate daw yung situation nya.. Tapos yung nakausap ko, ginawan nalang kami ulit ng contract, sabi ko may nisend na kasi si ms. Shirleen na contract nandun yung details, double check nalang nya.. Sana hindi magkagulo gulo..

Feeling ko dami pa namin nagawa.. pero ang haba na rin ng entry ko. hehe, excited na si h2b ilang buwan nalang.. tee hee!.. Ambiliiiiis!

Update lang ako hehe

Coordinator: finally i met with Jody na! super fun nya kausap and upon meeting her, i felt safe na everything will run smoothly. I told her din na if things go weird during our wedding na hindi need ng consent ko, she can decide on her own na. Ayaw ko na kasi malaman yung iba pang things na i believe mas alam niya i-handle. We are still working on our entourage list. We still lack one principal sponsor. Good thing din kasi na jody has worked with most of my suppliers so she knows how to handle them and the issues that she had encountered before na now na polish na naman nila

Cecilio abad first fitting: too bad tito Cecil was not there during my fitting, we came in kasi mga around 130pm na and he had a wedding in Edsa Shang. He tried to wait for me pero hindi na kinaya ng time which i totally understand! My first fitting was amazing! yes, lining pa lang pero i can see how the petticoat was made, the bodice!! ANG GALING! I had gowns made before by Oliver Tolentino, carla guiao pero this gown is amazing talaga. Kahit lining pa! :)Clayton was super maasikaso And puro "po" ng "po" heheh What i like about them is ito, may gown na, i asked for changes, GAME SILA. No reklamo. I sent my new pegs to tito cecil and sabi nya kayang gawin and he thinks mas babagay saakin. nagsend din ako ng pics sa kanya during the fitting and he looove the fit saakin.

NExt fitting: June 30

Entourage designer: MEL ORLINA! OMG when i went to her shop, ang daming ready made gowns na for sale and gowns for entourage. Sabi ko nga, dapat dito na talaga ako nagpunta nung una pa lang! Her gowns are dainty, delicate and drape-y! She is very kalog and funny in the most subtle way. And she really took note of my pegs! when she was sketching, i had suggestions sa ibang dress designs and she gladly and patiently edited them. walang sabi sabi. My sister tried on some of her work and ang ganda ng bagsak! =) I loooove it! It really pays to get a supplier who is down to earth and who really takes your inspirations and visions into consideration..hindi lang basta basta gumawa ng design na gusto nila but yung gusto talaga ng bride. Her rates pa super affordable pala! I thought she would charge me ng mas mahal pero no! Meticulous din sha with choosing the colors! Wala din issue with fittings/meetings and schedules with entourage kasi my entourage can go there anytime since sa Makati lang shop nya I am so relieved and HAPPY!
First fitting ng entourage ko this July 28

Mothers designer: I have not met him but his name is Ruel Rivera. He makes bongga gowns fit for mothers talaga. He is based in marikina his rate is medyo steep at php12k pero we got it at a cheaper price ang important naman dito is masunod what my mom and my fiance's mom want and like. The designer knows daw what is bagay and what is not bagay sa mothers with problem areas such as arms, waist etc. Basta gusto ng moms namin and they are at ease with the designer, go kami kahit mahal.

I will be meeting with Phoebe of Wink this April21 (yes uuwi na naman ako ng weekend - med school graduation of my brother) to discuss the custom made invite design

I might drop by Mango Farm too to visit Dylan! Malapit din yung farm sa house namin! Same with Jody!

Church florist: mom ko na bahala makipag meet with Mr. Rey Asuncion of Sunny Florist. He lives near our place lang din naman!

We still dont have a designer for my fiance's suit. Still thinking of getting JC. He can make naman daw suits mga 3 months before the wedding We will see how this pans out

Preps: booked! we got 2 premiere suites 3D2N each at a super super super low price plus one free overnight superior room sa Manila Pen! wohooo!

well, still busy with invites distribution. natatawa na lang ako sa pinsan ko kasi yung iba talaga hindi na maiinvite. ang sabi nya bakit daw ganun? eh sa ganun na nga ano bey! tapos yung isang ninang namin eh nagpaparamdam na hindi na pupunta... bakit daw thursday at di daw ba pwede gaing saturday...

what i've learned about the preps? well, walang perfect preps.... you just need to do the right thing

re: wedding preps, mapamahal man yan, or mapa tipid ang wedding, ang mga tao/bisita, may masasabi at masasabi parin we can't please anyone nga. pero we have to remember, this is our event,special day natin tatlo. our hubby, tayong bride to be, and the Man up there! so no matter what negative things they say about our preps/ plans and wedding, chill lang. Inggit lang mga yun.

wow... kudos sa mga accomplishments mga kapatid... ang bilis nga ng panahon, parang this time last year, nag mumuni-muni kami ni hubby kung sino ang ibobook next.

i guess lahat tayo magiging busy this week, samantalahin ang long weekend.

sis chubbycheeks amishoo too! oo nga nabusy talaga ako netong past 3 weeks! Nakakaloka lang.. tas nikkwento ko kayo (all GT 2012 brides) kay h2b, sabi ko nga kasi sobrang helpful ng GT brides, as in! wala na ko kelangan iresearch pa mashado kasi dito palang solve na! Tutuwa naman si h2b, dami ko daw new friends. Hihi by the way sis, I've met Jacqui of Lil Cupcake Shop, sobrang bait! Okay na okay sya samin, nabanggit ko nga ikaw, sabi ko nag inquire ka rin sa kanya, tas naalala ka nya, yung nag inquire ng cake pops. hihi

additional update: I forgot to mention, nagreserve na rin kami ng hotel.. We checked out 5 hotels: Discovery Hotel, The Malayan Plaza, Stone House, Torre Venezia, and Cocoon Boutique Hotel.

Discovery Hotel: Very elegant and luxurious! And the price is not bad din.. the only concern for us was the lighting.. Maliit kasi ang windows, so hindi ganun kaganda ang pasok ng sunlight sa room.. Eh alam ko pag make up kasi mas preferred ang natural lighting..

The Malayan Plaza: Hmm.. not that luxurious, sobrang simple lang ng rooms and ng furnitures, unlike Discovery. But the windows are big, and the flow of sunlight is good.. Price is a bit cheaper din yata sa Discovery. Pero parang walang dating ang room..

Stone House: The first time we visited, fully booked sila so hindi namin maview ang rooms. We went back the following day at 1PM to check the rooms. Yung penthouse mejo maliit pa, pero yung Family Suite is big.. You just have to rent out the rooms dun sa area para exclusive sa inyo pati yung kitchen and yung sala.. It looked like a condo unit with 4 rooms. Price is really cheap, kung sa size nya, worth it talaga yung price. Kaso lang, parang luma na (or in the words of h2b - laspag) yung rooms. Of course, sa price nya, you can't expect a luxurious environment.. I'd still recommend it though!

Torre Venezia: The rooms were not that appealing. The chairs were. Bwahaha! and it's actually weird coz they have a kitchen in the 2 bedroom apartment, but you are not allowed to cook. Price is almost same with Malayan Plaza..

Cocoon Boutique Hotel: This, for me and my 2 girl friends (who happens to be part of my entourage as well) is the best of the 5. Price-wise, it's reasonable.. The rooms are excellent. Decent lobby and hallway area, rooms are really cozy-looking. My friends were decided to rent themselves a room for our wedding as well. hahaha! Decided na sila, kami hindi pa! Ms. Rachel was also very friendly and accommodating, kahit na ang gulo gulo namin 4 nun nagtitingin kami ng rooms. hehe

Verdict: h2b was actually leaning more towards Stone House since the price is really competitive and the space is really big. But I kept on insisting on Cocoon.. So, to Cocoon we went! they even sent me an email saying that they are happy to extend their 40% discount for us.. so lucky us! Nagreserve na kami 2 2-bedroom master suites for the wedding preps, and 1 1-bedroom suite for me and hubby after the wedding we paid 50% of the total fees and balance to be paid upon check in. My friends are also arranging to reserve a room for themselves, they are planning to divide the rates among 6 of them. Most of them kasi will be coming from south, so to save on the hassle of travelling all the way to manila, they want to rent out a room na rin. by the way, maganda rin ang pool area nila, with the bar, pwede na ang pre and post wedding party dun! wee!

- Thanks sis. Oo, magaling talaga si Ms. Gina and hindi ka nila titipirin especially sa food. They really value the money you will spend and the guests feedback. If we will be having a birthday party for my Aidan's 3rd birthday, sila na kukunin namin. =)

Hello everyone... Tagal ko narin yata hindi nakabisita dito. =) Wedding is over pero hindi parin namin na submit sa parkershot yung 200 picstures for the album. hehe Sobrang dami kasi and hirap pumili.

I'm super bored and burn out na ako sa work ko. I don't know when to give my resignation letter pero sure na ako. Hirap ng ganitong feeling. Everyday I am dragging myself to work. And I don't like it. Maybe next week after the sweldo magsu-submit na talaga ko ng resignation letter... =( Good luck sakin...
