additional questions for you pls. nag avail ka themed amenities ng don hen? for brickroad branch, kung hindi ba mag avail themed amenities, kailangan sa tie up suppliers ka nila dapat kukuha? pwede bang outside supplier for host, magician, ballons and cakes? any corkages na babayaran?

^ Yes sis i availed from Don Hen.  Direct communication with their official supplier (Kristine of Kiko's Balloons).  I upgraded/swapped other things na kasama sa package.  I met personally with Kristine din nung March 31 kasi may event sya na inayusan sa Don Hen din and then we finalized yung mga gusto ko pa.  She is nice and flexible din.  I can say na mura na talaga yung rates nya if i will based dun sa actual set-up na nakita kong ginawa nila.

Don Hen naman very linient sila sa mga add-ons at pasok ng supplier.  Basta idiscuss mo lang sa kanila para ipa-approve. Pag equipment with use of electricity they charge 200 or 500 each yata di ko matandaan hehe..

Host - i got Ms. Lhen Peralta, direct booking, no corkage.
Cake - Iko's supplier ko, no corkage.

Sa May 6 na party namin, more than a week na lang

Don Henrico’s – Brickroad Branch
Rating: 10/10

Food – good food.  The price is super sulit.  Our guests enjoyed the food at super busog daw sila.  Don Hen staff allowed us na maglagay din ng plates na may pizza, potato wedges and nachos per table.  Kasi nung mag-resume na yung program eh hindi na tumatayo yung ibang guests para kumuha ulit ng food.  Siguro ayaw makadistract sa program.
 
Service – two thumbs up! There were 4 staff assigned sa buffet table to serve ng food.  2 staff sa drinks. And another 4 staff (trainees) na nakatayo sa loob ng party area para mag-monitor ng mga kelangan ng guests.  So bawat lingon ng guest may staff silang makikita like hingi ng tissue, abot ng straw etc etc.  Our reservation is at 2pm.  Me, daughter and my grandma arrived at 12:30nn to check sa set-up, decors saka para ayusin yung mga game prizes na dala namin.  Pag baba namin sa car, sinalubong na kami agad ng mga staff para tulungan magbuhat ng mga things saka ng cake. At sobrang natuwa ako sa nagbuhat ng cake namin kasi super ingat na ingat talaga sya.  They also helped us ayusin sa table yung mga game prizes na dala namin tapos yung tarpaulin na dala ko para gawing welcome banner sabi ko pakitalian na lang sa door or dikit ng scotch tape.  After few minutes nakita ko kinabit nila sa standee. Yehey! Ang babait talaga nila. Yung 1 staff na rin ang tumao sa registration table ko, distribute ng plastic shades and birthday wishes card and pens sa mga guests.  Ang lagi kong kausap tuwing visit ako sa store saka tawag sa phone eh si Ms. Rocel.  She really is super nice.

Venue – no question about it, the restaurant is nice and clean.  It gives the “sosyal” feeling sabi ng mga guests ko.  I like the tables and chairs.  The tables for buffet, cake and game prizes have skirting too.  They have a party area which can accommodate 100 guests tapos may parang sliding partition lang doon na kung marami ang guests ioopen lang nila.  The store can accoomodate 150 guests without booth set-up.

Restriction – almost no restrictions.  Kahit anong theme puede. Kahit anong food cart puede rin. Any décor and booths okay din sa kanila.  They will just charge electricity fee kung gagamit ng kuryente.  No bringing of food items lang na katulad ng menu nila.


Balloons & Décor – Kiko’s Balloons
Rating:  10/10

My décor supplier is the in-house supplier of Don Hen.  The owner, Kristine, is a nice person (not to mention pretty sya kaya pleasant kausap hehe) mabilis sya sumagot sa text every question ko may reply sya.  Her packages are flexible, she can work on your budget.  Last March 31, nagkita kami sa Don Hen at na-finalize na naming yung mga details ko.  I upgraded and changed some stuff.  Two weeks before the event may mga pinabago ako sa mga kukunin ko (downgrade), MIL kasi in & out sa hospital and scheduled for an operation kaya feeling ko we needed to cut on some costs so we can give support to her kahit paano.  I was so glad that Krsitine understood our situation and she said na okay lang daw.  On the day of the party, maaga sila nagset-up at lahat ng napagusapan namin nasunod lahat.  My relatives told me ang ganda daw ng set-up kasi bagay na bagay sa rockstar theme.  Kahit hindi ganun kabongga yung pinagawa kong decors maganda ang kinalabasan.

Kiddie lootbags are from Kiko’s too.  Candies and small toys inside tissue-pouch wrapped with mini balloons.  Kaya lahat ng kids natuwa kasi lahat sila may mini-balloons na naiuwi.
