Naalala ko kasi before we do en grande na arrangements of crowns or cape of cash pero maliit lang yung total amount kasi P10 lang or P5 nun bata pa ako.

Eto sis. HTH

GIFT SUGGESTIONS

A
In lieu of traditional presents,
enveloped gifts would be appreciated.

B
In lieu of traditional presents,
enveloped gifts would be appreciated as the newlyweds will reside in ___________.

C
Your presence at our wedding is more than enough, but if we are honored to receive a gift from you, may we respectfully request a monetary gift as we begin our new life together.

D
Your presence at our wedding is present enough.
But if we're honored with a gift from you,
may we respectfully request a gift of money
to help the dream of our new home come true!

E
With all that we have  we’ve been truly blessed.
Your presence and prayers are all that we request.
But if you desire to give, nonetheless.
Monetary gift is one we suggest.

F
In lieu of traditional gifts a wishing well
Will be provided for the couple.
Your monetary gifts would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

G
They have their dishes and towels for two.
They have pots and pans and oven mitts too.
They’ll move to their new house in a year or two.
But you cannot register for carpet and glue.
So what do you get for the bride and groom?
Whose future house is almost set up in every room
Give them your hopes for a long life together.
And a monetary wish in case of bad weather. Thank you.

H
There is not better gift than the honor of your presence.
However, if we are blessed with a gift from you we respectfully request a monetary token instead as we reside in

I
Our Treasure Chest
To save you from looking and buying,
Here’s an idea we hope you’ll like trying.
As we have most of the things we require,
Some money for bigger things is what we desire.
You can place it in our treasure chest,
And we will buy for what is best.
Now that we’ve saved you all the fuss,
We hope you’ll come and celebrate with us.

Sayang late ko nakita to. Ang corny nung nilagay ko "Please note that you're presence is enough to make us happy, but if you will insist, a monetary gift is much welcome and will be highly appreciated" yikes. Haha 😂

We really prefer cash gift. Iwas doble doble ng gifts and para we'll be the one to purchase what we really want. I think it's more practical and less hassle nowadays. :)

Since we work abroad, we'd prefer monetary gifts.. hindi ba nakakahiya imention to sa invites? wait, sa invites ba to nilalagay?  ;D hindi ba pwedeng understood na nila yun, na we live and work abroad so most of the time wala kami sa pinas to make use of non-monetary gifts??

Kame sis we prefer cash din since sasama nadin ako kay hubby 2 be overseas.

Pero cinompute pa rin namin kung magkano nareceive namin in cash, GCs and cheques, yung total nga is more than 10% ng nagastos namin and for us, ok na yun.

Gagawa na din kasi ako ng invites this month and we prefer  cash over gifts din. 😁

Malaki na din yung 10% sis.

we prefer cash also, and we put this in the invite as well.  :) Bonus na lang kung magbigay sila.  ;D

Although not everyone is ok with pitting monetary preference sa invites, we are one of the few couples who did. And we are happy na it worked very well for us. We had 140 guests and 6 lang yung nagbigay ng gift. Nakakatuwa kasi duon sa 6 na yun nagagamit talaga namin sya like plantsa, mirror, wall clock.. hehe! Siguro depends na din sa relationship ng couple sa guests and in our case most of them were relatives and closest friends.

Reviving this thread. I have a question, mga sissies.

My high school friend is getting married and kinuhang ring bearer yung son ko. I am thinking of giving cash na lang din as a gift.
My question is, how much ba ang amount na dapat binibigay sa mga wedding?
Ngayon pa lang kase ako na-invite sa wedding, mostly mom ko and sabit lang ako so sya bahala mamroblema  :P Your thoughts will be appreciated! TIA!

^Just to be on the safe side, if you are thinking of giving an item better check if may wedding registry sila and you can choose na lang from the items listed. Kung wala mas mainam nga na cash. I attended a wedding last Dec and I gave them a cashcard worth 1k. Meron cashcard ang SM, the amount ranges from 500-2000k. My other friend gave the newlyweds a hotel voucher they bought in Metrodeal (less than 3k nila nabili and 2 silang nagshare ng bf niya).

Pero if you're asking for a range naman, ang practice ko naman when attending wedding is I make sure to give a gift na commensurate sa plate ko. :)

Hope that helps. :D

Thank you so much mga sis!

:) Napakabait at generous ng guests namin kasi we were not expecting talaga. :) Very thankful kami sa kanila :D
