Eto sis. HTH

GIFT SUGGESTIONS

A
In lieu of traditional presents,
enveloped gifts would be appreciated.

B
In lieu of traditional presents,
enveloped gifts would be appreciated as the newlyweds will reside in ___________.

C
Your presence at our wedding is more than enough, but if we are honored to receive a gift from you, may we respectfully request a monetary gift as we begin our new life together.

D
Your presence at our wedding is present enough.
But if we're honored with a gift from you,
may we respectfully request a gift of money
to help the dream of our new home come true!

E
With all that we have  we’ve been truly blessed.
Your presence and prayers are all that we request.
But if you desire to give, nonetheless.
Monetary gift is one we suggest.

F
In lieu of traditional gifts a wishing well
Will be provided for the couple.
Your monetary gifts would be deeply appreciated. Thank you.

G
They have their dishes and towels for two.
They have pots and pans and oven mitts too.
They’ll move to their new house in a year or two.
But you cannot register for carpet and glue.
So what do you get for the bride and groom?
Whose future house is almost set up in every room
Give them your hopes for a long life together.
And a monetary wish in case of bad weather. Thank you.

H
There is not better gift than the honor of your presence.
However, if we are blessed with a gift from you we respectfully request a monetary token instead as we reside in

I
Our Treasure Chest
To save you from looking and buying,
Here’s an idea we hope you’ll like trying.
As we have most of the things we require,
Some money for bigger things is what we desire.
You can place it in our treasure chest,
And we will buy for what is best.
Now that we’ve saved you all the fuss,
We hope you’ll come and celebrate with us.

Staying_me - kami ni h2b, we prefer cash but we are not putting anything about it sa wedding invitation namin. we preferred to put it up sa registry page sa wedsite namin. you can check it sis and feel free to customized the details as applicable. a sis also shared that poem with me ;D

We prefer cash din...

Thanks sis katrinac for sharing yung mga ways to say it in our invitation...

ang nakalagay sa invitation namin ay:

The honor of your presence and blessing that come
from your fervent prayer means more to us than any gift.
But if you desire to give nonetheless,
a monetary gift will be much appreciated in our future.

ay sis no. we do not intend to have a gift registry. hindi rin naman nasusunod yun at least in most weddings i've attended. registry lang ang tawag sa page where we put in the monetary poem ;D

kami we prefer cash since we will be staying sa US for good after the wedding. Pero same as little_princess, we wont include it sa invites. My relatives and friends naman know we are residing here in Singapore and big gifts like plates, cultery sets and other fixtures will not be feasible to bring back here.

:)

We will indicate lang sa invite na we will be residing overseas after the wedding.

Same here, being an overseas couple, we prefer cash. Pero we are not stating in our invites anything about asking for monetary gift. We only have 100 guests, so our guests pretty much know us and my relatives sometimes ask if we want cash or gifts..syempre sabi namin cash nalang. Haha!

Thanks! :)

^ yes sis. shinare ko yun sa monetary poem namin kasi it's customizable para mas personalized. catch is mas mahaba siya compared with some monetary poems usually placed on the invites ;)

i have a HS classmate who got married last january and i asked her for tips kung gusto natin cash gift lang. she had about 40 tables and they only got 10 gifts or less, she didn't put anything in the invitation or made any gift registry.

this is me lang ha, i thought about this long and hard kasi before i wanted to put something sa invites but i thought it was tacky.

for me kasi, it seems some people spend more than what they can afford in a wedding thinking na they can opt to ask for cash as wedding gifts to make bawi sa gastos. in the first place, dapat you spend what you can afford lang on a wedding without breaking the bank or computing what you might receive from the guests.

gifts kasi are token of appreciation for spending that special day with you.

I agree with this. May narinig ako before na para "makabawi". Makabawi saan?

"in the first place, dapat you spend what you can afford lang on a wedding without breaking the bank "

Para hindi na lang maging double yung gifts, siguro the best bet would be a registry. IMO lang naman.
