Hi mga sis, im in coron now. Weather is medyo okay na dito though sometimes umuulan. Di padin nakakapunta daw malcapuya kasi dipa nagbibigay ng go ang coast guard. We are staying at Mamitas Lodge.. Super okay at two thumbs up ang services nila. attentive sa needs ng guest and mamita is always around if you need something.

Just got back from island hopping kanina (Tour B-1 ng Corongaleri)
this is the list nung mga napuntahan namin
Hidden Lagoon - Snorkeling and swim swim lang, wala masyado fish except if pupunta ka daw dun sa mangrove area na ginawa nung isang kasama namin
kayangan Lake - nag enjoy naman ako dito malinis kasi tubig. Nice mag picture taking
Isla Bulungan Beach - Kumain lang kami dito, dinala kami dun sa snorkeling site pero di kami bumaba lakas kasi ng alon.
Twin Peaks - Daming isda at magaganda corals though di kami masyado nagtagal kasi maalon din.
Coral Eden - Ganda ng mga corals pero di madami isda
CYC- nothing much to do just swim swim lang

ask ko lang di ba delikado ang pag iisland hopping firts time kasi namin eh di naman kami mga swimmer hehe.... actually sinamahan ko lang [textspeak!] sister ko tsaka mga friends nya.. nakakatakot ba dagat ngayon sana di naman masyado

Hi sis meg1104. My suggestion is:

Sept 2 - Mt. Tapyas - Maquinit Hotspring
Sept 3 - Lusong - Sangat Tour then overnight in Banana Island
Sept 4 - Malcapuya Island then Coron Islands (Barracuda, Twin Lagoon & Kayangan Lake)
Sept 5 - Shop in Coron Souvenir & Gift Shop or local market; Buy Bandi (sweetened kasuy) from Nanay Lita.

i wonder kung sino tourguide nyo or nagpapanggap lang sya na tour guide or bago lang sya or talagang nagsinungaling sya its too impossible na hindi nya alam na walang banned destination hindi naman kasi aabot sa internet about this banned issue kung hindi totoo diba? sa mga pupunta kung gusto nyo po makasiguro ask the tagbanua locals dun sa mga destination na pinupuntahan nyo kung talagang banned sila and they will explaine everything, and beside hindi lang destinations ang banned now pati tourist boat madami na ding hindi nakakapasok sa kayangan lake kasi matigas ulo na pumapasok sa close destination eh, if your going to join a group tour ask the operator first kung ano pupuntahan ninyo kasi may mga agency na nakabanned ang boat nila sa kayangan lake.

i don't want to mention his name sis pero may ID naman siya ng CLTGA yata yun. Not sure. Hehe. Siya kasi yung kinuha nung hotel namin na tour guide.

Hello, curiouschellie signing on... straight from Coron! Wifi is readily available at Balai, so you can keep connected with the world. Weather's alright, Charlie said we'd be experiencing subasco(?) w/c is yung haluhalong panahon- didilim tapos aambon tapos araw uli. Lodge is in middle of town so very convenient for us. Order bfast 10-15mins ahead of your intended eating time kasi their service is a bit slow. We're able to go to Kayangan and Twin Lagoon, I enjoyed it the most kasi tranquil ang tubig. I'm not a swimmer kasi at tinatangay ako sa dagat. Today we'll go to Calumbuyan area- explore, relax and enjoy our last island hopping day of our trip. That's all for now, I'll post another update soon😉

aug,25 - 28 coron . solo trip ko. sana may maksabay ako kahit sa island hopping..still looking for as place to stay mura lang sana

If I am forced to choose between Banana and Malcapuya Island - what do I choose? Or I can't miss both? Worth it to pay P200/pax to go to both?
If galing na ako jan, do I still go to Bulog Dos Island? Or I can miss that na for P50/pax?

^I personally love Banana Island. It has better facilities right now so you'll definitely be more comfortable staying here overnight. The owners also own the Waling-waling Sandbar (connected to Banana) & Bulog Island - Sandbar so paying the Banana entrance fee includes these places. When we came here, there's less people in Banana than Malcapuya. It's a nice place to relax, tan and you just need to sit in the sand, lower your head and the fishes are waiting for you 

If you think you will come back to Coron, I suggest you go to Malcapuya Island. It's now under Boracay Regency and after three years, they will open an expensive resort in it. You'll get the chance to see it before all the changes happen. I think Malcapuya has better sand than Banana, that's MY POV. What I think is unique to Malcapuya is you'll find rock formations at the bottom of the cliff. The attendants of Malcapuya will volunteer to bring you to the area where you'll see big clams and different fishes so you still get to snorkel.

@sis lululemon, I`m back in manila! well, since yesterday evening. cebu pac lang ang may flight kahapon, it was delayed pero i`d rather delayed than cancelled.

the balai serves dinner but we found it quite pricey(350/head, not much choices). maraming makakainan dahil it`s located in the middle of town. we dined at seadive on day 1 late lunch, coron bistro on day 1-2 dinners, and coron village lodge on day 3. we love coron bistro! i especially like their fish with lemon and herbs (ata yung name)! ate it 2x in a row!

umaambon pero umaaraw din sa coron. mas maganda yung weather when we left kesa when we arrived.

we ere able to go through all the places outlined on charlie`s itinerary. pati kayangan and twin lagoon, love both places. tinatangay ako ng alon sa open sea . though day 3 was a little scary. we were planning to go to calumbuyan, sabi ni charlie at the onset may coast guard sa may dock kasi nga may gale warning, ayaw magpalaot ng bangka unless it`s only going to coron island. so diniskartehan ni charlie at ng mga bangkero. if we rode a smaller boat I would`ve asked to turn back. 3x kaming naka encounter ng malalakas na alon, as in mababasa ka kahit anong gawin mo. took us approx 3 hrs travel but was really worth it, kami yung unang boat to arrive that day and we felt like we owned the island! at umaraw nung nanun na kami so e sunbathed! hehe. 2 boats arrived later in the afternoon.

i would come back within 2 years to try naman Banana/Malcapuya area. whee! but next time siguro try namin ang corongaleri since we know na where we want to go

wag kalimutan ang snorkel gear(or rent if you don`t have one)! ask kuya lots of questions if you have any para prepared kayo for the trip the next day. hth!

enjoy your trip guys! been there, medyo naculture shock lang ako sa Coron kasi feeling ko super province talaga, i mean walang fast food & all. pero i must say na sobrang swerte ng Palawan esp Coron & Puerto P. parang sinalo nila lahat ng fascinating views & attractions happy travel.

hi mga sis i'm back from coron..  enjoy naman kami talagang mafeel mo nasa province ka tahimik, dami puno, sariwa ang hangin..

- sa coron eco lodge kami stay.. ok naman yung mga staff mabait naman sila, kaya lang yung tubig nila parang amoy kalawang as in.. sabi ko nga sa mga kasama namin bili nalang kami nga mineral water para pag nag totoothbrush kasi mahirap na baka sumakit yung tyan namin... kaya pag naliligo kami super close talaga yung bibig namin... food nila masarap don kami nag dinner nung first day namin ok naman malasa.. free breakfast nila lugaw plus may tinapay na may butter plus coffee pero buffet ha eat all u can ang lugaw happy naman ako kasi fave ko yon kahit 2 days in a row yon ang almusal namin ok lang sakin.. ang coffee always ready kahit anong oras kaya happy si hubby...

-  island hopping namin ok naman may nakita kami whale minsan lang daw nagpapakita yon.. totoong mag mga saradong mga island kaya 5 lang ang napuntahan namin..  lunch na prepare nila ok naman masarap naman.. hirap nga lang punta sa lake grabe pala papunta don pag di ka sanay mag trekking..

-kain sana kami sa bistro coron pero sabi nung kasama namin sa van parang di sila nag enjoy don kasi walang nag asikaso sa kanila.. pero try pa rin namin kasi ok naman daw nabasa ko dito... pero talagang nung pumasok kami wala talagang tao parang wala staff don so umalis nalang kami.. punta kami centro coron ok naman masarap ang food enjoy naman kami
