does anyone know if it's true na 5k lang fraxel nila sa Beverly hills medical group? i read kase sa ibang forum na sale ata or something. i want to go for another session sana pero sa mas cheaper na derma na, my skin is peeling now (post fraxel) but yung new skin underneath hasn't improved at all same pa din nung dati. will wait for final results sana it's not a waste of money. ang mahal mahal!

yes sis menthol i did have tca with dra.6 way back in college but it really doesn't do anything major for the scar it's still very much there pa pero it will lighten the darkspots, yun lang. kaya i opted na for this major procedure akala ko it will be super worth it, i'm still hoping it was worth it wala din kase ako mahanap na ibang feedback's sa fraxel niya or any fraxel from other dermas. i was so desperate na talaga to have it removed. will be starting my toner tonight 6th day na baka may improvements pa after nun. fingers crossed hehe
difference lang ni tca&fraxel (for me ha) you really can't go out pag fraxel kase sun burnt effect talaga face mo as in crispy,brown&crusty! si tca mag peel ka lang eh nothing major.

I had it for two weeks. Imagine, two weeks of antibiotics and no effect at all. In fact nagsuka pa ako at nagkafever nung malapit na matapos ang two weeks. Then my mother told me, "Bakit two weeks? Most antibiotics one week lang ha?" Then I checked her prescription again to verify, and sinulat niya "#28" meaning twice a day tapos for two weeks (kasi di ba 28/2=14 days). tapos narealize ko rin, oo nga no. Bakit 2 weeks? Ang antibiotics one week lang ha. Pero still I followed what she said.

Sis, ako nga 30 days pinatake sa akin one of my former dermas ang doxycycline e. Imagine, at 35 pesos a day? Magkano rin yun. Tapos wala namang nangyari. Bukod pa sa mga treatments niya na walang kwenta. Tulad ng paglagay ng nose trip (pore strip) sa akin for 200 pesos. LOL. Diamond peel for 10 minutes worth 2000 pesos. Dr. Sta. Maria ito ng Lourdes hospital.

Next naman, Dr. Stephanie Co na mukang hindi naman derma at nagpapanggap lang na derma. Naka 8k ako worth of diamond peels, walang nangyari. Ni walang meds na binibigay.

Ilang derma na rin na try ko sa derm clinic, around 3 dermas. Walang nangyari. Hindi ko na matandaan mga names nila dahil sobrang nakakaasar dahil hindi na-treat yung pimples ko.

Kaya after all these, sobrang nanghinayang ako, kasi kay Dr. Six F, isang treatment pa lang ng TCA peel, grabe na ang kinis ko. Thanks to sis herroyalbrealkness, nakilala ko siya. One month pa lang ang ganda na ng skin ko, one treatment pa lang yun. Kaya talagang NEVER na akong lumipat ng derma e. More than 2 years na ako kay Dr. Foronda, never cheated on her and I never will!

@amelia_eyeheart, before I went to 6F, I was seeing another dermatologist who also prescribed me doxycycline for 30 days. So I think, not all antibiotics work for only a week. And the antibiotic helped me I believe but as soon as I stopped it, I'm back to square one. With 6F, I'm not taking any oral meds and I am quite happy that I don't need to depend on any.

Sobrang lakas kasi ng doxycycline eh. Kaya nakakatakot rin. Ako nga dentist ako, I should have known better than to take something of this potency, hehe. Pero sa desperation kong kuminis I still took it for a month, maski na pwede akong magkaroon ng resistance dito, at baka hindi na gumana sa akin  to when the time comes na talagang kailangan ko.

With doc 6f rin, she never gave me oral meds. Topical lang lahat, and isang session lang makinis na ako. Kaya happy talaga ako with doc.

Sis, pasingit lang ulit. Pero kung meron kang super oily skin like me, and mga occasional zits and pimples, wag ka na magpa diamond peel. Hehe. Mas okay chemical peel for me, dahil nga sa skin type ko. Ewan ko ha, pero before kasi ako kay doc 6, naka isang milyong diamond peel yata ako, walang effect. Sayang pera! Hehe! Try mo fraxel ni doc, gusto ko nga rin i-try e. Sabi ni doc 6, magiging mabuti daw sakin yung fraxel dahil medyo lumalaki na yung pores ko lalo na sa nose.

^ Thank you sis. Actually feeling ko rin walang effect diamond peel. Pero I was thinking pano kung consecutive talaga?
Or what if TCA every 2 weeks or a month for a year? Mawawala ba mga red marks?
Kasi wala yata akong time to recover for laser (fraxel) eh...

Also naiisip niyo ba sis kung ano effect ng peels and laser sa skin after say, 10 years? how will our skin look like if we keep doing it? May nabasa kasi akong research that it may take a toll on our skin? kasi ninipis at ninipis ang balat. parang napwersa yung renewal ng balat. di ba nga our skin naturally sheds and renews even without peels? yun nga lang it takes time.

i also was thinking about it... maganda kasi ang result sa present. but what about the future?

sis tina14 kay dra.six more or less nasa 8k+ yung fraxel niya. the promo i was referring to was at beverly hills kase i read somewhere na 5k lang sa kanila i wanted to shift sana to them kase feeling ko mas hard core sila hehe
sis amelia_eyeheart i think the difference lang with fraxel and chemical peels is the "ugly" stage (3days)  kase right after the procedure burnt skin ka talaga as in "crusty sun-burnt skin", matatakot mga tao sayo hehe kaya hide muna sa house. for me i could go out na on day 5 kase my face was peeling like sa chemical peels mas acceptable na sa tao makita. yun lang like i said i don't understand bakit ang mahal mahal niya when wala naman ako nakitang effect at all same pa din face ko as in.
recommended ba sha sa mga crater face lang para makita yung effect? yun kase mga nakita ko sa you tube after one session kuminis agad sha kaso nga craters kase yung kanya.
now i feel i wasted my money, i'm peeling na normal like sa tca parang walang ngyare. grr akala ko kase mas dramatic&super advanced sha kaya i gave it a try since i was desperate to have a scar on my cheek removed asap (for work). super fail!
just finishing the meds kase sayang naman 1k+ din yun.

I think you should wait at least a month or two to see the effects of Fraxel or any Laser Treatments for that matter. Collagen takes time to build up ren kasi..

yup sis mchristine519 the waiting game ang peg ko in the next 2 months hehe well they say within one month may result na pero if it's going to stay the same as it is now nako bigo ako. fingers crossed talaga.
almost done na ang peeling niya in some areas nalang and i'm just on my second week tomorrow. my skin isnt tight either, nung after laser lang sha naging tight nung nag peel off na scabs same skin na as before. maybe because i have oily skin madali mag recover?hehe

Pansin ko lang, laging peeling talaga solution ngayon sa mga pimples like salycylic, glycolic and the like. I think mas malaki tipid nyo if TCA na lang tapos maintenance nyo yung glycolic creams after kasi malaking tulong yun. Pag tamad lang talaga mga derma, pansin ko tinatamad sila isa-isahin kapag maliit ayaw nila iprick lalo na kapag marami, laging solution nila peeling peeling peeling.. based on experience, nagkaroon ako ng mga butlig butlig lately, sabi sa Flawless MOA eh milia daw, hindi naman pala ,then pagpunta ko kay Dra. 6f comedones daw dahil sa maling foundation , magpalit daw ako, then hindi nya pinrick yung maliliit, peel na naman ulit. Pagbalik ko sa Flawless SM dasma kanina, inubos nila maliliit na comedones ko then salycylic acid after...ayun umayos na skin ko ngayon, wala ng butlig Dapat lang talaga mawala lahat ng comedones then saka lagyan ng peel kasi di talaga mawawala ang mga butlig pag peeling lang.

korek ka jan sis peeling na nga ata solution sa lahat now a days.  same lang naman sila ng pinagkukunan kaya kung saan hiyang skin mo dun ka. iba iba kase ang touch ng derma may maganda talaga ang meron naman in general kung mag assess ng skin. yung derma ko abroad isang tingin palang niya sa face wala pang touch alam na ang solution agad agad, and we don't use peels gamit namin drugstore meds talaga. pansin ko sa mga derma sa pinas iba sila kulang ata sa practice? or maybe yung mga magaling talaga will come with a price.
nag break out nga ako konti sa toner ni dra.6 na pinagamit sa akin mga 4 small pimples  ok naman na now di ako ma pimples kaya panic agad pag may makita ako if dumami sha surely i'll stop the meds na.

Hello sisters anong kelangan preparation for a tca peel? Currently wala kong meds/treatment na nilalagay aside sa Clinique toner na sa forehead ko lang nilalagay. Right now, dami kong whiteheads plus few small pimples lang naman....Kelangan pa bang magpa facial? kase worry ko baka lalong lumala skin ko since last time na nagpafacial ako, lalo ako nagkapimples na before naman wala and makinis

And ilang weeks bago pedeng mag beach? Thanks again 

May tanong lang ako, do you guys know any dermatologist who's willing to prescribe roaccutane? kasi I've been to a lot and lahat sila reluctant pero I have to resort to accutane kasi lahat ng topical treatment na binibigay ng dermas hindi nagwowork.. please sissies, help me find a derma
