Hello! Yes very comfortable naman. Hindi ko naman na feel na tinipid ako or pangit ang service. The nurses and doctors were all very accommodating. Tinyaga nila ako tulungan esp. with breasfeeding kasi hindi kami successful sa latching tapos lagi sila visit to check on us and remind me to feed na the baby. For the fee medyo nag exceed ako kasi nag extend ako ng 1 day kasi nagka problem ako with my back. But sabi naman ni OB the 56k is madadagdagan talaga especially pag nag exceed ka sa allowed na mga specifics indicated sa package. Example like mine nga nag exceed ako 1 day or during labor or pag nag exceed ka sa labor room hours na allowed dun sa package. On the other hand, I have a friend na same kami ng OB and hosp, sya kasi high risk dahil nagka diabetes sya and high blood so hindi sya pwede sa package. Hope that helps!

Just gave birth last week. Anyway total cost 200+. Stat cs and high risk din dahil sa gdm. Nabawas sa philhealth mga 19k lang.
Ob- 80k
Anesth- -32k
Pedia-16k
Room was 5500 per day. Large private
Overall exp: ok sya kc inalagaan naman akong mabuti ng mga doctors and nurses ko. Mahal pero worth it

hello mga mommies.. i gave birth at MMC last APril 12, 2014 pa po. and i have a green card so sobrang tipid. package pa dati is 20k normal, ewan ko lang ngayon. kaya binyaran namin nun less than 20k pa kasama na bill ni baby less philhealth na po iyon. super happy lang ako na sa MMC ako nanganak kasi super alaga doon compare sa public hospital na nakakausap kong mga pinsan ko na nanaganak sa public. very accommodating sa MMC at tuturuan ka talaga nila magpa breastfeed. hidni kami mayaman pero tsinaga talaga namin ni hubby na sa MMC ako manganak para kay baby kasi 1st baby namin.

@shyla_c or kung may mga sis na recently nag-avail ng semi-private room package ng makati med, yung room ba curtain lang partition or room talaga? Saka may tulugan ba yung bantay? May binigay kasi na flyer sa akin sa front desk nakalagay may long john pero nung nagtanong ako sa sales department nila walang long john. Di kasi na ako makapag-ocular dahil walang time. Sana may sumagot.

Hi ^^ ward yata pag curtain lang, may wall po and door ang semi private (sliding door). Yes there was a long john and TV sa room. It was small but decent naman. The only thing is wala lang window na hindi ko na rin napansin until the last day because I was so tired and busy with the baby. 😊

Any updates/feedbacks sa mga nag avail ng HSP sa Makati Med for CS? I'm planning to avail of their greencard. I'm 15wks pregnant and repeat CS, last CS ko was just this March so it would be a big help kung makapag avail kame ng greencard from MMC. So far kasi puro NSD pa lang ang nababasa kong feedbacks. TIA sa mga sasagot!

I went to MMC earlier to apply for their green card. Konting interview and then binigyan ako list of requirements. Worry ako na baka madisapprove ang application ko since both working kame ni hubby although wala naman maternity coverage ang HMO ko. Same rates pa rin ang package nila 20k for NSD, 34.5k for CS. Medyo discouraging lang yung social worker when she was discussing the coverage of the package. Sabe niya umaabot daw ng 60-100k ang CS kung may complications. Medyo nagdadalawang isip tuloy kame kasi 60k yung package namin sa Adventist kasama na yung sa baby. Baka kasi napamahal pa kame or baka halos pareho lang pag nag green card. Here are my pros and cons:

MMC

pros:
     - 34.5k CS package
     - primary hospital
     - reputable doctors
     - less expensive with green card
     - Philhealth will still be deducted from the package rate
     
cons:
     - no personal OB
     - anyone can perform my CS
     - baby is not included on the package
     - long wait for consultation since it's free
     - may pay 60-100k with if with complications


Adventist Medical Center

pros:
     - 60k CS package with bitubal ligation
     - personal OB
     - baby included on the package
     - had a very good CS experience
     - less waiting time for consultation

cons:
     - Philhealth already deducted from the package rate
     - may pay 60-70k if with complications

What do you think mga sis? Wala kasi ako makitang feedbacks ng mga nag CS na naka green card so wala ako idea talaga. I'm so confused..hehe!

I'm eyeing MMC for my delivery. My OB is Dra. Marinette Sto. Domingo.
I'm actually based sa SG but I prefer na dyan sa Manila magdeliver. Mas mura rin compared dito sa SG.

Just wanted to ask, is it needed na kumuha ng package? Standard ba na kapag manganganak ka, package ang kukunin? I can reimburse kasi from my SG company. But if I will avail a package, I need a detailed billing of what is included in the package. Usually - OB Fee, Anes, Pedia and room. Tama ba? Nung nagbabasa kasi ako ng blog, parang ang nakita ko lang, Maternity Package then amount across of it.

Meron ba dito na hindi kumuha ng package? How did it go?

^hi sis, ako i'm on my 37w and expected to pop anytime. My OB, Dra. Liza Gozon-Francisco does not recommend that i get the package. Why, because high risk ako (im 37, first baby and with GDM). Nalilimit daw kasi sila if nakapackage. Siempre if push comes to shove, they would do everything para safe ang mommy and baby. So ang tendency they would need to do things outside of what the package covers. So bottomline, gagastos ka na din.

Gave birth at MMC last Oct. 24. Availed of the package. Was expecting for normal delivery but end-up CS. Total expenses amounted to more than 150k net of philhealth so total bill is roughly 170k. Baby stayed in NICU for a week kasi na poop na daw sya.

Honestly, feeling ko if hindi ako nagpackage pwede ako magnormal. Feeling ko minadali nila panganganak ko dahil package ako. I was dilated by 3cm at around 1:30pm ,then nagpunta ako ng delivery room at around 5pm as advised ni OB, 6cm na ako, then 7cm at 6pm. Tapos after two hours walang progress. The resident doctor broke my water bag dun na ako naglabor. Syempre dahil 7cm pa lang ako di pa makalabas si baby. ay 9pm dinala na ako sa OR.

Tapos nakita ko sa bill ko na ang dami pang-charges aside dun sa package cost. Isip ko dapat wala kasi wala naman complication sa delivery ko. Yung sa baby ko ok lang kasi may cost yung NICU at daming test na pinagawa sa kanya. Pero sa akin, nakalagay lang yung package cost then parang lahat ng materials and medicine na ginamit during operation nakabukod ng bill.

If may budget kayo, wag na lang magpackage i think.

^ I'm not sure sis, haven't asked kasi i will not push thru with MMC. Bumalik na lang ako sa previous OB ko sa Adventist after weighing the pros and cons.

hi..new joiner here.. ask to lang sana if meron dito recently nanganak sa MMC thru caesarean delivery? I'm on my 26 week na kasi but I have gestational diabetes kaya hindi kami pasok sa package so we're trying to research kung magkano kaya aabutin namin sa MMC if ever na ma.CS ako..we're also looking at other hospitals like medical city sa ortigas..please share if you have any additional info..thank you

^hi sis, gave birth via cs last dec 7 in  MMC.  I also have GDM.  We paid about 245k net of philhealth. We got small private (3days) but i had to stay at the labor room for 2days kasi my BP was unexplainably fluctuating so i had to be monitored 24/7 prior to the CS.

Total PF was 141k (OB - 80k, pedia - 20k, anes - 32k, endo - 9k).

Not really. I'm on my 37w 4d then. Check up lang dapat but due to the BP nga, my OB decided to admit me na. I was induced those 2days na nasa labor room ako in the hope that i can still deliver nsd. Kaso my cervix didnt dilate so there.
