Pano ba magsanitize safely ng CDs? diba yung insert lang pwede ibabad sa mainit na tubig? Pano yung cover?

Hi mga sis...got the stash i purchased from MCNP....it is stated there na EUC...pero when I received it hindi ko nagustuhan yung amoy..parang nakulob hindi natuyo sa araw.

Sa palagay nyo ok lang magrequest ng refund? This is my first time pa naman to purchased used nappies so disappointed

^you can boil sis the inserts then babad nalang overnight yung pockets/covers. tapos mega banlaw nalang at bilad sa araw for sure tanggal ang amoy nyan

nabasa ko pwede raw tea tree oil drops...meron ako nito sa house eh may nakatry naba?

nope sis sa cold water lang na may soap. pero may nababasa din ako they wash their CD's in warm/lukewarm water ba okay naman . wag sa hot water kawawa covers/pockets baka magdelaminate! inserts lang binababad ko sa hot water usually.

pero ang pinakamabisang pang tanggal ng amoy talaga is si haring araw

I am ready to wash my cloth diapers and I also bought a jar of Charlie's detergent na.

Question is, can I just throw the covers into the washing machine with Charlie's detergent?

Also, ganon rin ba for the inserts? Lagay ko lang sa washing machine and wash with Charlie's detergent?

^first time na laba sis? yung sakin kasi pag new CD babad ko overnight sa tap water with soap para mawala yung amoy factory. handwash kasi din ako so I don't know the process with WM

Sa case namin sis, bihira kami mag WM ng CDs but if i need to, i separate the shells/covers from the inserts. Before i throw them into the WM i pre-wash them first by hand. Complete wash cycle + additional rinse cycle, both for shells and inserts, except that i wash the inserts with warm water (40 degrees).

^Sis Chrisann, bali yung method mo, ginagawa mo rin ba pag nagamit na ng baby ( as in nag wiwi or poop na ang baby)? You pre-wash them first by hand then throw into the washing machine?

So far, parang nabasa ko kasi I need to wash them a few times first before using right? For maximum absorbency raw?

Sa April pa ako manganganak but I just want to be prepared, kasi we live abroad and kaming 2 lang ng asawa ko sa bahay, and we have very limited space.

ang sabi kasi nila the more you wash the inserts mas lalong nagiging absorbent kasi natatanggal na yung oils (daw) from the factory while making those nappies. Ako pre wash din ako bago babad para mawala yung amoy ng wiwi kahit papano before soaking/ washing.

Sis confuse, how many months na si baby? Your baby's sleeping position may also be another factor to consider like if your baby is a tummy sleeper..

There are cloth diapers that has tummy lamination & otherwise.

Pls dont get discouraged using cds. You could motivate & help others once they encounter this kind of situation in their cd journey too

my baby is almost 11months now and he is not a tummy sleeper.

im currently adding stash and buying several brands to check which one will suit him. looks like he is really a heavy wetter. hopefully after several washes the absorbency of the inserts will improve as well.

Buti nalang at di heavy wetter si baby ko as of now. Marami lang syang wiwi pagkagising sa umaga though.

^Try mo yung Fluffy D's sis. pocket diaper/cover sya in one. ganda din ng insert nya kasi stay dry so pwede syang pang pocket at pwede din syang covers kasi nga stay dry yung insert/soaker nya. Sana lang magkaroon ng iba pang colors talagang magdadagdag ako ng stash. Good sya as night time nappy since makapal yung soaker/insert nya at no need to boost.

Ano ba ang best na combination ng mf inserts?
Plan ko palang kasi gamitin yung mga cds ko, sa ngayon lampin at covers ako..

mga sis anong advantage ng CD bukod sa environment friendly at mas di nakaka rashes?

iniisip ko kasi mag shift pero parang hassle kasi maglalaba pa. gastos pa sa tubig at detergent.

sarap ng exclusive CDing. Di na ako namumrublema sa pagbili ng disposable diaper hehe kahit nga 20 lang stash mo okay na pala

^may mga CD ba na disposable yung liners? para itatapon nalang yung loob pg nag wiwi or poop? pag ganun, tuwing kelan dapat labhan yung diaper mismo?

^yes there is. it's called flushable liners.  meron nyan si thrifty mama, ecobabyboutique  and other online sellers.
