-- Sis, don't worry magagamit mo pa yung mga lampin mo. Kasi ako, kapag wala talaga si Mr. Sun and ang tagal matuyo ng inserts ko, yan ang pinapasok ko sa pockets ng diapers ko. Absorbent pa rin naman, not as much nga lang like the inserts so madalas ang pagpalit. But still, comfortable pa din kay baby if ipasok sa CD kasi di wet [textspeak!] feeling niya unlike kung lampin lang alone.

Sis, pag ginagamit mo yung lampin as insert, do you just fold it to fit in or pinasasadyaan mong ipatahi tulad ng size ng insert

Gumagamit din ba kayo ng soft liners? Parang mas madali ang pagamit ng cloth diaper pag may ganito.

Naku sana may sumagot agad, bigla ako naconfused, umorder kasi ako ng Alva AIO.. okay lang ba na umorder din ako ng inserts? naguluhan lang ako bigla ,ang inserts ba ginagamit lang for pocket diaper? ang AIO ba nagagamitan pa rin ba ng inserts?

Parang lumalabas na mas madali gamitin ang pocket diapers, kasi ang papalitan lang at lalabhan yung inserts, then yung AIO, buong diaper ang lalabhan.. tama ba ako ng pagkakaintindi

hi sis marssie, Im still learning more about cloth diapers yung soft liners na nasa link mo normally ginagamit yan ng mga mommies when going out so they can easily flush out the liner and mas clean yung cd at si baby. It's also called bio liners/stay dry flushable liners.

I just bought my first ever CD-- 10pcs of Alva pocket cds and it includes 10 inserts na din sis, but you may also opt to boost by adding liners pa some would use hemp/bamboo lalo na kapag gabi para stay dry si baby.

As far as I know, AIO is a system of pocket diapers when it is soiled you change it like a normal disposable diaper. Yung water proof covers yata yung pwedeng palitan ng inserts kasi wipeable sya then inserts lang yung palitan mo.

I hope I didn't get you more confused, Im no expert in CD e, hopefully one of the experts would share their thoughts on your queries.

I don't think Alva has AIO type diapers yet. Mali lang pagkalagay ng mga Chinese. All Alvas are pocket diapers and they include inserts, same lang sila na one-time lang ang gamit then lalabhan na.

The difference between a pocket and AIO is that sewn-in na ang insert ng AIO so no need to stuff the insert, unlike sa pocket diaper.

Covers and AI2 (all-in-two) are the types that you can reuse the shell and just change the insert or soaker.

^ thank you for your explanation sis that really helps, I stand corrected Alva is a pocket diaper nga. The AIO system doesnt need stuffing of inserts as it's stitched together with the cover.

my baby is having diaper rash with CDs. What can I do kaya, I'm using Charlie Banana and Alva. PInaluwagan ko paglagay kay baby para maka breath pero may rashes pa din.

yung samin ok naman, so far no rashes. nung una medyo mapula sa mismong paligid ng butas ng bum ni baby pero recently nawala na. super banlaw din kasi dapat para walang maiwan na suds.

surf lang sis or kung minsan ariel. di pa kasi ako nakakabili ng sabon good for CD's eh. probinsya kasi dito kaya most probably either dayuhin ko ang malayong mall dito or order online para makabili.

^^ sis you may also try tide original as in plain lang or cycles soap.
what I want sa paglalaba ng cds no need for bleach/fabcon and super banlaw lang talaga

yup super banlaw. 3-5 times minsan sakin. konti lang din kasi cds ko everyday ako laba.

^will have to watch my maid how she laundry my baby's CDs. May amoy ammonia kasi even if bagong laba. Told her to rinse 3 times.

chocolatepink and skits  thanks sissies for the replies.. Sabi kasi nung seller AIO siya, kaya naconfused ako. so dapat pala talaga umorder pa rin ako ng inserts.

Sis, you mean, yung kind na nabili ko na Alva, after one use, need to change the whole diaper na? but i thought if wiwi lang, inserts lang ang papalitan? Iba ba yung pocket diaper sa cover and AI2?


may nakita ako dati, sa mcnp page ata, parang mga lampin na pinatahi niya para gawing inserts.. birds eye ba tawag duon?

^yes sis ang alva is puro pockets. pag pockets need ng inserts. yung birds eye is type ng lampin yun sis di ba? pre-folds ata yung lampin na tinahi na shape rectangle? (not sure)

pag covers yun ang pwede palitan ng inserts kasi wipeable yun sis. yung AI2 di ko pa na try, mukhang sa mga branded nappies lang to pwede eh like grovia, tama ba?

ngayon ko lang na realize na kahit ano pang cloth diapering system piliin mo dapat mag invest ka sa pagkarami raming inserts  limited lang inserts ko tapos araw araw ako naglalaba, kaso ayun di masyadong umaraw kanina, medyo basa pa mga inserts ko, mas nauna pa matuyo yung shell kaya ang insert ko ngayon is lampin  super tipid na talaga ko now. so far pang 3 nights na naming exclusive CDing, sana maging success

Yes sis, Alva pockets are use once and wash. Meron din ata sila covers sila, I'm not sure. But you can only use pockets once. Covers and AI2 yun yung pwede palitan lang insers or soakers. Just make sure the inserts you use on covers or AI2 may lining ng microfleece.

Bird's eye or gauze ginamit nya sis. Pwede rin to gamitin although it won't hold as much as microfiber fabric
