Macta Shangrila is awesome! Stayed there for 3 days and we didn't need to do anything else but stay in the hotel. We got upgraded to the Panorama room which is ocean view. The kids were entertained by the kiddie pool and water slide and free adventure zone. There's also a time zone inside with arcade games and air hockey for us adults! Super sulit! The food isn't so pricey too and the non motorized activities were included in the room rate. Still hung over from Shang!

Hi mga sis,

I just booked a family Cebu trip pero this December pa, hehe matagal pa excited lang. 1st family out of town kasi as in mag aairplane. Me, hubby, my daughter (2 and a half years old) and my son who will be 7mos old na by December. I am looking for a good and sulit hotel in Mactan para medyo malapit sa city and my mga beach resorts. Now I am torn between Costabella Tropical Beach Resort, Maribago Bluewater Beach Resort and Cebu White Sands at Maribago Bay. These three kasi ang medyo affordable and has private beach resorts. Di ko keri ang Imperial, Crimson and Shang Mactan hehe ang mahal masyado. We'll be staying for 3D/2N lang. Ano mas bet nyong resort jan sa tatlo mga sis, or any experiences sa kanila? Saka anung magandang itinerary on our 2nd day, I was thinking of a City tour sa Cebu city but medyo hesitant pa kasi mahirap mag day tour na may bitbit dalwang supling hehe..Any suggestions. Thanks in advanced!

^ok sa akin ang maribago bluewater, nag-daytour lang kami dati don. maganda location nya kasi nasa bungad lang & di ka mahihirapan kumuha ng taxi

agree with maribago. saka hindi masyadong maalon dun kasi may manmade island na humaharang sa alon. i must say masarap din ang food, lalo na yung adobo rice

^may mga van for hire, di ko lang sure kung may taxi kasi usually ceres bus talaga sinasakyan ko. anyway saglit lang naman byahe 45 minutes to 1 hour lang yata

@jenggay, Shangrila Mactan isn't so expensive na din kasi super worth it. And even more so if you buy their vouchers. I heard they will be offering them again this Novemeber. Almost 50 off on their rates!

^ wow kung ganun bongga nga mag Shang Mactan. Sana nga they'll have promo, kasi last I checked parang pinakamurang room nila is 7k a night Maribago kasi merong 4k+ a night lang. Eh [textspeak!] kayang magandang day tour sa cebu mga sis?Like anung magandang itinerary for the city?

^^sis matetreyes: ang alam ko lang na maganda na island sa Moalboal is Pescador Island, a popular diving site in the south of Cebu.

I suggest you take Maribago Blue Water.
there are a few pools for your children and you to enjoy.
The beach (though not the best for me ) is better than the others.
There is a man-made island that you can use a small boat to cross.. Staff will take you.
in the afternoon, I think between 3 to 4pm ( might have changed now ) you can watch
the shark feeding in one of their ponds ( I have not been there in a months so you can ask the staff for this)
you can also ask about snorkeling in Maribago. it is just within their area so there might not be so much to see.
As for the daytrip around Cebu, you can ask any taxi to take you to a few tourist spots.
start with Mactan Shrine
then go to the city, Fort San Pedro, Plaza Independencia, Sto.Nino Church, Magellan's Cross (
all these are in the same area)
then you can ask the taxi driver to take you to Tops. Preferably at a time that you can catch the sunset. Taxis usually will wait for you for an hour before they take you back to the city.
Haggle for rates (1500 should be good enough)

ang mahal ng boat sa moalboal. si kuya dodong (nabasa ko to sa isa or dlaawang blogs), yung dating 800, ngayon ay 1000 na. pag kasama ang pescador island, 1.8k daw.

sino may phto ng club room sa hotel stella? or family room? also, sino na nakatry magstay sa talima beach? worth it ba yun? plan ko dun ko na lang dalhin ang mga in-laws then island banca cruises to pandanon and nalusuan
