Eto nga pala ang itinerary namin (edited for the nth time)

Day 1: City Tour and check-in sa cheap place near the north bus terminal (suggestions?)

Mactan Shrine
Magellan's Cross
Sto.Nino Basilica
Cebu Cathedral
Fort San Pedro
Taoist Temple


Day 2: Oslob whale watching and Kawasan Falls (doable ba? and how to go there from Oslob?)

Day 3: Either day tour in a nearby resort in Mactan or whole day sa Papa Kit's

Day 4: back to manila

We were supposed to go to Bantayan on Day 2 but naisip namin na since we can always go to the beach anywhere (bora, bohol etc), minsan lang kami makakita ng whale sharks hence the change in itinerary.

be enough to take underwater pictures? habol ko lang naman is makakakuha ng malinaw na picture of the butanding underwater. Since bawal ang flash, im worried baka yung canon ko na nakalagay lang sa underwater camera case might not take a clear picture.

^ di pa ko nakagamit ng ganyang camera. pero mukhang promising naman.

as for our underwater shots, we used sony Tx10. maganda yung camera pero swertihan lang din sa pwesto. di rin ganun kaganda shots namin ng butanding. hehe

@ilovetigger...sis, it is a very long ride from Oslob to Kawasan kasi as far as i know Kawasan Falls in Badian has an opposite location from Oslob

^agree, malayo sis yong oslob sa kawasan kaya hindi sya pwedeng daytour. ang pwedeng sidetrip sa oslob yong osmeña peak kasi madadaanan yong dalaguete pabalik ng city

For those who will stay at Goldberry suites don't forget to get a massage at their spa, super mura, P200 for a 1hr Thai Massage and P250 for Swedish.  Hindi ko na try, I had sunburn kase

and regarding Shang pala, husband and I were supposed to take a day tour last Sunday pero when we arrived on Thursday dumaan ako sa booth/area nila at the airport and found out that the cheapest overnight stay was only at P7000++ So sabe ko kay husband that its best if we stay overnight na lang, but unfortunately they were fully booked na   Hindi na lang din kame nag day tour parang kase feeling ko ang lugi ko naman nun sobra, sa susunod na balik na lang namin.

The 7k promo is until March 31 only   Lesson learned na ito, sa susunod call the hotel to ask if they have promos 

This is local rate for a superior garden room by the way.

hi sisses!

we were in cebu last sat and sun. we stayed at the crown regency hotels and tower. we bought a voucher from ensogo. ok naman ang stay namin there. the room is big and can accomodate up to 4 pax. we ate at cnt lechon for lunch, aa barquque for dinner and casa verde for lunch the following day. for the tour, we rented a taxi referred to me by a friend. he charged 250/hour. accdg to him he normally charges pa nga daw additional 300 if going to tops but in our case, he waived the P300. so total rental fee that we paid to him is 1500 for 6 hours + binigyan na lang namin sya ng tip. btw, 2 lang kami ng friend ko. pero sabi nya meron daw sya van just in case big group ang mag tour. if you are interested, kindly pm na lang for the contact details of the taxi driver.

And one more thing, do you think it's okay to stay at SOGO for our 1st night? Hehe. I checked kasi and isa siya sa nearest sa South Bus Terminal tapos we'll be leaving around 4am for Oslob din naman kaya parang sayang naman bayad kasi aalis lang kami kaagad. Yun nga lang, we'll have to bring all our stuff to oslob kasi di naman puwede iwan yun sa Sogo when we checkout in the morning. May mga naiisip pa ba kayo na better alternative? Or check-in nalang kami sa the likes of fuente de oro or verbena suites for 2 days para we can leave our stuff there habang nasa Oslob?

noted sis, so dapat di ako masyadong magbilad s bantayan para makapagpa massage ng bongga, kahit everyday diba, hehe

saka yung s shang kung talagang may mga ganung promo sila i think lugi nga yung day tour. hindi n rin namin pwede iconsider n magstay ng overnight s shang kasi may reservations n kami s goldberry.

i think di naman ganun kahigpit sa crown regency. just that when you're going up and use the elevator, u need to tap the door card to the elevator scanner before you can press the floor where you're going.

yong sogo sis parang bandang colon yan, kasi naalala ko nag-scout kami ng matutuluyan dati. feeling ko hindi safe sa colon lalo na sa gabi kaya wag na lang kayo don & mot-mot kasi ang sogo. kung gusto nyo ng mura, try mo sugbutel may 99 promo sila medyo malapit lang din yon sa south terminal & pwede nyong iwan gamit nyo sa locker 25 lang yata fee.

Argao- mostly beach resorts and ang maganda na pwedeng puntahan for pictorial purposes is the Riverstone Castle
Siboanga- Simala Church
Carcar - for its chicharon and giant man made shoes found along the street

thanks for the heads up! I read somewhere kasi that one backpacker stayed there for 6 hours lang until her flight and okay naman daw. hehe. But i'll take your word for it and will stay somewhere safer na lang. would you have any idea how much ang taxi from sugbutel to south bus terminal?

sis, so okay lang na bumaba kami sa bus then just ride another bus going to the above places? kasi kunyari gusto ni bf mag punta Tingko Beach, may mga masasakyan kami pabalik ng cebu coming from there? thanks so much for all your suggestions!

Btw, kakaresearch ko ng places to visit in south cebu, i stumbled upon Terra Manna Resort. Mukang maganda siya kaya lang nasa Badian. 500/pax lang yung sa camping nila and based sa reviews, maganda ang tent and facilities. I'm sooo tempted to go there too. haha. Dami ko gustong puntahan.
