Things you refuse to spend money on

1. Make ups - I only have a set of makeup (blush on, eye shadow, lipstick). Kapag naubos na, that's the time I buy another one

2. Branded shoes, bags and clothes - I go for the simplest yet affordable.

3. Movie theater - Hintayin na lang namin lumabas yung DVD copy. Imagine, 2 kids tas kami pa ni hubby plus pagkain pa?

4. Gadgets - wala lang, di lang namin masyadong feel

I'm maluho by nature..I like pretty things... designer bags, clothes, shoes, skin care and make ups, jewelry, travel..

But I dont spend much on expensive food, latest gadgets,car..oh my..ano pa ba?

thats it.. I can pretty much justify buying luxury items basta I really want and can afford it, then why not?

^ditto.  I just don't see the point of buying those.  Waste of money.

Right now I also refuse to spend money on:
Designer Bags - LV, Chanel, Prada, etc.  I would love to have one pero ewan ko ba pag nakita ko na ang price tag, my mind automatically enumerate the things I can buy with that amount of money.

Gym Membership - I know magsasayang lang ako if I enroll myself here.  I can do it at home naman so why pay for it   I was able to lose weight by following exercises in youtube (ofcourse with a bit of dieting din)

Branded Expensive Clothes and Shoes - I do buy branded clothes, but not those expensive ones.  May limit ako.. and I only buy yung kelangan ko.

brand-new vehicles -- di ko maatim ang laki ng depreciation the moment you drive it out the dealership.

newly-released high end gadgets -- depreciation rate din.

high end bags, shoes or clothes -- unless they provide a feature that will be particularly helpful to me, i'm not willing to spend hundreds of thousands to millions of pesos for a single item.

starbucks coffee -- overpriced and the coffee flavor itself is awful.

"high end" filipino restaurants -- would rather stay home and cook, it's usually better anyway.

very cheap or very trendy clothing, shoes, or accessories -- sirain, more expensive in the long run.

grand parties for myself -- only people who matter are invited, and those who matter, won't mind if the party is simple or bongga. super ostentatious and big parties pose a headache for me anyway kahit may organizer.

clubbing -- even if i did have the time, i'd rather spend it at home resting.

Could not agree more. Counterfeit gadgets, I won't buy them because its quality pa lang does not qualify my standards, even aesthetics. Kaya when it comes to gadgets, kailangang branded hehe.

expensive cellphone - oo nakakatuwa mag games games and music. pero aside from that wala na sayang ang depreciation

crocs for my baby or mahal na shoes - though cute, ang bilis lumaki ng paa to spend on expensive shoes. hintay na lang sa mga padala

same here sis coz when it comes to buying fakes... you may feel like you got yourself a
good bargain but the truth is, lugi ka since most of the time, that item wont last long. You get what you
pay for.

- Gadgets. Lalo na sa cellphone hanggat ok pa yung cellphone ko, nakakapagtext,tanggap ng tawag at internet hindi ako bibili ng bago.
- Clothes. Kapag hindi talaga kailangan kahit gustong gusto ko pa yan hindi ko talaga bibilhin.
- Concert / Movie - Naisip ko pwede ko naman siyang idownload makalipas ang ilang linggo.

Same here, i wouldnt buy such expensive footwear for my son. There are a lot of reasonably priced and quality footwear.

Expensive gadgets, concert tix, mani/pedi since i can do them myself and and any flavored or bottled drinks, more expensive than gasoline!

Latest gadgets- why buy it when you can "rent" it. In short, I buy the latest but I don't retain it for long-term use coz as we all know the next iteration is always just around the corner.

Designer bags and shoes- I view them as outrageously priced and overrated items.

I love pretty things as well.  If given enough moolah, i'd buy myself a luxury bag (balenciaga) but in order for me to do that, I'd have to compensate buying luxury by investing in mutual funds para may lumabas, meron din naisave.  I don't deprive myself of pretty things kasi i earned it.  But the things I won't buy are:

1.  Gym membership -I don't think i will be able to utilize it.
2.  Buffets - Dapat libre kasi di ko mautilize ang eat all you can
3.  Carinderia food na hindi malinis at oily.  Even if its cheap and masarap, i'd choose someplace decent to eat.
4.  Fakes, knockoffs or high copy.
5.  Trinkets na kalat sa bahay - mag little things na maganda tignan if nasa store pero once you buy it kalat lang.  For instance, angry birds pillow, crystal figurines.
6.  Timeshare
7.  MLM products
8.  Lotions or toilettries na hindi ko brand just because packaging is cute, scent is good.  I know somebody who splurges on many beauty products pero they just end up on the dresser lang.  Ang kalat tignan.  Ako, one lotion, BB cream, hada labo products sa dresser.  I don't like keeping too many products.
9.  Memorabilia of something old.  Kahit na mahal na value, I don't like keeping old things. 
10.  Car decorations - I want my car simple lang, no abubuot inside except functional things.  I see other people's car with stuffed toys and yung mga flower na nag wawave, parang ang sikip tignan yung kotse.
11.  Stuffed toys - they are just kalat inside the house.  Unless you want to play with it.

Polo's . They are so expensive. I'd rather go to ukay-ukay. same lang yung quality and I can buy maybe around 5 polo's out of the price of that non-ukay polo. Labhan lang na todo-todo.
