shipping fee - kuripot lang talaga.. hanggang 80 pesos lang ako hehe..

high end make-up  -  ang mahal lang stash ko yung eh directly touching my skin. foundie and lipsticks. the rest puro mura na. and i dont keep/buy more than 3 of the same kind

perfume - i dont buy perfumes. puro regalo at  mga pinagsawaan ng kapatid ko. madalas wala pang 1 month ayaw na niya

hair treatments - mula ng matuto ako mag-DIY at natunton ko yung bagsakan ng products, ako na lang mag-isa gumagawa. yung mga matrabaho like rebond, if magustuhan ko, paparebond na lang ako sa tita ko, merienda lang bayad haha

gadgets especially mobile phones.  I don't have the coolest cellphone but what I have serves its true purpose - calling and texting.

expensive coffee
    i just don't get the satisfaction of drinking coffee that is worth more than a meal. i seriously love nescafe 3 in 1 i'd rather enjoy the serene feeling of drinking my cheap coffee during mornings inside my room.. than in some overcrowded and overpriced coffee shop with apologies to my hurting wallet.

gym memberships
   i used to go to the gym when i had a student discount. but now that i am obliged to pay the full fee, i stopped i also realized that gyms, like most coffee shops, are overcrowded and overpriced. i am so glad i've found my favorite outdoor running place where there is very very less crowd, brimming with scenery, and most of all, it's FREE.

expensive/luxurious hotels
   i'd rather spend it for out of town trips with decent accomodations and more outdoor experience. for most of my budgeted trips abroad, i stayed in hostels.

jewelry
  hindi ako mahilig. i really don't see the need for this.

gadgets
  i'd splurge on gadgets.. but once in a blue moon. for example, i buy a laptop which i intend to take care and use for years so i make sure it is the best brand.  but i do not feel the need to keep on upgrading according to the trends in technology nowadays. i agree that having too many gadgets is a waste of money, and most of them have the same function! (phones, mp3 playes, tablets, cameras, laptops) i have one laptop and cellphone and that's it. i do not spend more than 10k on a phone anticipating that i can easily lose/scratch/damage my phone with the way i treat it everyday. my phone serves as my camera, music player, and sometimes, browser. and to point out the obvious, their value depreciates so fast.

expensive restaurants
   i don't want to pay big for small servings. however, i have a different take on buffets. it's okay if they are pricey as long as it's yummy and the sky's the limit when it comes to food serving!

on the other hand, i am willing to spend on branded bags, shoes, and make-up for as long as i have the extra money or i have saved up for it. then again.. i only buy these stuff rarely in a year. so.. when it comes to these things.. i go for quality, even if i have to pay for higher price. i also learned to overcome the need to accumulating branded stuff. i want to buy mostly out of need. if kailangan na palitan ang lumang bag, buy a new one.

I refuse to spend money on:

1.  Luxury bags/shoes - bukod sa mahal na sila as it is, they also require proper maintenance which also costs a fortune. Syempre hindi ka naman bibili ng ganon ka-expensive tas hahayaan mo lang na amagin. Dun na lang ako sa hassle-free, low-maintenance items. Di pa masakit (sa puso at sa bulsa) kung ma-snatch o ma-scratch.

2.  Gadgets - di talaga ako techie. As long as gumagana pa ang laptop at cp ko, ok na ako. My cellphone now is already 3 years old at nabili ko lang sya kasi naholdap yung nauna kong gamit (which i used for about 5 years rin kaya di na rin siguro napakinabangan ng holdaper yun).

3.  Coffee/Milk Tea - para kasing status symbol na rin lang ito e. Sayang din yung 80-100 pesos kung every day ka bibili.

4.  Cable/Post paid Cellphone line - not much into TV, if ever naman, pwede namang magwatch online. Sa postpaid naman, takot ako baka kasi mag-exceed ako sa limit. At least pag pre-paid, nacocontrol ko.

5.  Too much dining out / movies - hubby and I make it a point to dine in a good resto or watch a movie at least once a month. Pero ang rule namin, if movie date kami, di na dapat kumain sa expensive resto. Or if dinner date, gala-gala na lang yun afterwrads, no movie That way, we don't exceed our "date budget" for the month

sa ngayon...lahat...nagpunta ako kanina sa dollar store and i saw this boar hair brush for just a dollar and i ask myself kelangan ko ba 'to??? lol! di ko binili kasi may 4 naman akong brush sa bahay...hayyyyy! grabeh ng pagigi kong kuripot. anyway iniisip ko na lang at least busog si savings ko.

- latest gadgets din: basta't okay pa at hindi naman sobrang jurassic bat kailangan palitan.
- coffee: minsan lang yata sa isang taon ako magstarbucks hehe. yung iba kasi halos araw araw yikes! ibibili ko na lang ng food yung 100 plus na kape.
- perfume: I don't have to spend that much just to smell good.
- gym membership: pwede naman mamaintain ang weight ng hindi naggym.
- concert tickets na maharlika ang presyo: hanggang gen ad lang ako o kaya yung susunod dun.
- jewelries: hindi ko lang feel. feeling ko mawawala ko lang o mahoholdap lang ako hehe.
- high end accommodation: lalo na pag magttravel. hindi naman kasi kami magbabad sa kwarto lang.
