Golf, anyone?

3 clubs at 15K? too expensive naman? actually makakabili ka ng pre-owned club din at a price lower than what you've bought at pwede naman palitan talaga ng shaft in order to fit him the lenght kasi nga matangkad siya pero decision nyo yan at recommended ng teching Pro nya so I cannot contest the decision. At saka meron din naman or pwede din mag fit sa Citygolf along J Vargas sa vicinity ng Home Depot sa Pasig. Sabagay ok na yan..hopefully maging hitter na siya pero sayang kasi kung kumpleto man lang ang nabili pwede na sana ipang fairway.
Dyan sa Logcom driving range meron din dyan mga Pre-Owned clubs sa shop ni Jun Bustamante in between Cashier ng driving range at Golf Depot Pro Shop.

Well, ok na yun, 15k for 3 pre-owned clubs and a brand-new glove.. At least it was well within my budget for his pahabol Christmas gift and hindi na kami ang naghanap. Hehe... He actually had his first fairway yesterday in Davao, with his colleagues from work, 18 holes. As expected, he sucked compared with the others, but it wasn't that bad na rin daw since his companions know na kaka-start lang nya matuto so he got some tips na rin from them.

saan kaya yon napunta. In my reply last nite, I said the 3 pre-owned clubs are a bit pricey for 15K where you can get a complete set of pre-owned in some places. Ganon din naman kasi at makakamura pa kahit magpalit pa ng shafts but that is another point since i cannot contest your decision and the advised of his Teaching Pro. I also mentioned in my reply last in Citygolf along J. Vargas in the complex of Home Depot in Pasig where pre-onwed clubs are available and they also have the capabilty for club fitting. Anyways, ok na rin yan matututo na sya sa ganon.

anyway, convenient for him sa shop in Malugay kasi relatively near his office plus he plays basketball at the nearby court. So di na nya sasadyain like in J. Vargas...

Anyways, pre-owned 3 clubs is a bit pricey even for less than 15K. You can get a complete set worth 5-7-10K even if you replace the shaft. I cannot argue and contest if that's your decision and as recommended by his teaching Pro. In Logcom driving range, a pre-owned Pro Shop is available where I guess you can get cheaper than what you've bought. Citigolf is also has a lot of pre-owned clubs that's along J Vargas in Pasig in the vicinity of Home Depot. Anyways, good luck hopefully he wil be able to visit the range every too often.

Yes it is along J Vargas in Pasig but it's not Home  Depot, it is Citigolf driving range but in the complex of Home  Depot. Tama ka, the place is very nice and comfortable during night time and has plenty of shops for golf. Tell your bf not to buy yet a new set,if he a few clubs that can be use for the range the better, let him buy when he's already a hitter and ready for the fairway. Another thing is, when he would buy a complete set, it should be fitted with him so that the specs is taylored to his swing.

I wonder why my reply post does not posted and this is for the nth time already and I have no idea why.
Yes it is called Citigolf driving range along J Vargas in Pasig but not Home Depot because it is situated in the same complex.
I suggest that your bf should not buy yet a set since he's still a beginner and in the process of learning the basics, let him just used what clubs he's using at the moment and when the time he's already confident and can hit balls then that's the time he should decide to buy. Better yet he should see a teaching Pro first so he can be taught the basics of golf.

Oo nga hahahahaha nagkaka doble doble na tuloy reply ko ....

So ok na pala at meron na siyang traning set just for the range, ok na yan pero syempre if he decides to go in the fairway syempre ang 3 clubs ay alam mo na very awkward naman yon on his part. Pang driving range lang yon ganon na tatlong pamalo. Sabagay, oo nga Citigolf is a bit far and inconvenient for him since Makati sya.

^ When he played at a fairway in Davao the other day, they rented clubs. A few brought theirs but most of them just rented.

Oo ganon nga ginagawa ng iba normally sa mga golf courses especially in public meron talaga mga for rent na clubs dyan pati nga golf shoes available din. Pero syempre kung tournament lalaruan nya mas maganda na na dala nya sarili nyang pamalo. Magaganda daw golf courses sa Davao, di pa rin ako nakakapunta don isa yan sa mga wish list ko kasama na Bukidnon. So nag fairway na pala siya? He has already his baptism of fire pala which is in Davao pa ha?

I used to play at Santa Elena and Eagle Ridge, sis.
Home court ko sa Eagle Ridge sa Cavite.

I'm hoping to be able to play again soon!!

What courses have you tried na sis?

I played both with the two courses too before.

Sta Elena is beautiful course.

Eagle Ridge is not bad at all.

But lately, I play too often in Aguinaldo where is it just a few distance where I lived, besides playing in other courses would deprive my caddy of earnings since I seldom home in pinas.

However, when I get an invitation that's the only time I played in other courses. The last time was in EastRidge and Valley Golf.

Aguinaldo is okay because of its location.  Have you tried night golf at Intramuros?  My husband and I enjoy playing there too.  It's nice to bring visitors there.  Short course lang pero aliw din kasi night golf siya

Yeah I did.....it was a tournament and we really had fun of playing golf during night time...
