^^ sis..kaya naman yang ITI nyo kaso medyo pagod yan hehe..Halos ganyan din ang ginawa namin last time na nag travel kami dun. Nag overnight kami sa Guimaras pero day trip lang sa Iloilo. Mas nag stay kami sa Bacolod for food trip, hehe..

Medyo nakalimutan ko na ang fare sa ferry pero I think less than 350 sya and almost 1 hour din yata byahe. Ortiz wharf to port is less than 10 minutes, i think. Someone please correct me kasi pwedeng mali ako, hehe..last year pa kasi kami nag travel at marami nang sumunod so hindi ko na talaga masyado maalala..

after reading from page 1 to here, just wanna ask if feasible ba ang trip ko na ilo-guimaras-boracay-iloilo if ang travel date namin is june 3 7am eta tas june 6 8:45am etd ?

naisip ko kasi, when we arrive in iloilo diretso na kami guimaras then pwede kami mag-overnight dun, the next day travel to bacolod na. overnight in bacolod then balik na ng iloilo. our flight back to manila from iloilo is on the 4th day pa so we can stay on the 3rd night in iloilo.

pano ba sa guimaras? parang puerto galera? in terms of restaurants and hotels/resorts? or parang boracay na din?

ganyan din ginawa namin sis, pagkagaling sa airport derecho na kami sa Guimaras, pero Bacolod ang departure namin so talagang mas nag stay kami sa Bacolod. Guimaras is just a small island, as in tahimik so hindi sya ma compare sa Bora or Puerto Galera. Hindi din ganun kahaba ang beach pero malinis yung tubig at pino ang sand. Naging problem namin dun is yung food, kasi limited lang nakainan namin sa may resort, pero lumabas lang kami sa mga parang carinderia dun sa tapat ng Raymen, may nakainan kami kahit pano, hehe..

pero sa town ng Guimaras madami naman makakainan, masarap yung mango pizza sa Pitstop, if you want to explore the island, kontak mo lang si Kuya Gerald for the tour, mabait sya, super..at magaling mag take ng pics, hehe...

I agree, mababait sila lalo na yung mga taga GUimaras, highly recommended yang si Kuya Gerald.

Kaya naman ng whole day ang inland at island tour kaya lang you need to start as early as 7AM at depende kung ano uunahin mo. Kami kasi from Guimaras port sinundo na kami ni Kuya Gerald ng mga 3pm then nag start ng tour, kasama na yung saglit na pagdaan namin sa Pitstop to eat pizza at yung pagbili ng pasalubong. medyo ngarag ang tour namin na yun at inabot kami ng dilim nung pauwi na kasi ang layo ng Guisi Lighthouse, hehe..

 Typically yung island tour is mga 4hours same as the inland tour. So, kaya ng 1 day, baka lang hindi ka agad makabalik sa Bacolod agad kung wala na byahe yung ferry which I'm not sure kung what time ang last trip.

Sis Shiecg..i think 600 ang siningil nya samin kasi late na kami nag start, pero nagdagdag kami ng 200 kasi feeling namin lugi sya sa byahe sa layo ng Guisi Lighthouse tapos baku-bako pa ang daan, naawa kami sa trike nya hehe...ask mo na lang sya and just tell him na referred ka ng mga bloggers, pag ganun hindi nya mamahalan ang charge sa inyo. Pero believe me, di kayo makakatiis na bigyan sya ng tip after hehe..

Hi mga sis!

We will be in iloilo this June. We already have the flight, bale yung hotel and tour na lang ang problem ko. It will be 5D4N trip. Since we are in a budget tight, baka mag day tour nalang kami sa island/ sea tour lang kami sa guimaras, food trip sa bacolod and visit some churches sa na malapit lang sa city. I'm also looking for a hotel na mabilis ang internet connection? I will be working kasi while on vacation. Last time I went there, I stayed in Highway 21. I paid 100  kaya lang paputol-putol ang connection at mabagal. So this coming June, I'm looking for a hotel na mabilis at reliable ang internet connection kahit papaano para iwas gastos pambili ng load sa broadband stick. Any suggestion mga sis? TIA

sis tammy, pahirirt pa ng tanong ha. we're touching down iloilo airport at 7:15am. kung didiretso na kami ng guimaras inland and island tour, what time dapat kami matapos para umabot sa 5pm byahe ng ferry to bacolod? 3PM dapat nasa jordan wharf na kami? kaya ba 4PM? haha. ^^ sorry sis sa late reply...malamang makakarating kayo nyan sa GUimaras say 8am na, kung mag start kayo ng inland tour siguro skip nyo yung Guisi lighthouse kasi yun ang pampatagal ng byahe...medyo tight na sked yang first day nyo. 10-15 mins lang naman mula Jordan wharf to Iloilo port then from there mga 10 mins to ferry to Bacolod. Kaya ng 4pm sis. Pero napapagod na ako agad pag naiisip ko marathon nyo, hehe..

Try staying at Smallville 21 sis. It's at Smallville complex mismo and the wifi connection is good naman when we stayed there last dec plus Internet is free. Just pray that when you go on your guimaras trip, the rainy season would not have started yet kasi June na. the seas can be pretty rough. And usually, ferry trips to and from Bacolod may be cancelled also.

Do you any idea kung how much your rate nila for their room? Di ba sya maingay sa gabi sis? Hoping na di pa tag ulan at that time. Kung hindi, foodtrip nalang kami sa iloilo.

^parang 1500++ yata ang standard room and it really looks very nice. Do check out their website na lang sis. Yun nga lang since it's at the Smallville complex which is basically an entertainment complex (w/ hotels, restos, bars, spas), may konting ingay nga.  I suggest you stay at the east side. Plus there's a luxurious spa building beside the hotel (fronting Ayala complex) na really exceeded my expectations.

Hi Sis, you might wanna try Highway 21. The place is just a ride away from SM City Iloilo at malapit siya sa UP Campus. Very safe yung place plus there is a convenience store at BPI bank sa harap ng hotel. Tabi  niya lang din ang Sarabia Manor Hotel and Convention Center. Standard room in their old annex is P900 per night. Very clean din and everyday nililinis ang room.  For wifi naman, free siya sa lobby but to have an access sa room, there's P100 fee. So far, nag enjoy naman ako sa stay ko sa kanila, the only downside is yung internet kasi mabagal, I'm working while on vacation kasi . So I need to use my stick to have a stable and faster internet connection. But for me, for price and location wise, this is the best so far.
