cindylulu... hahaha, it just came up in my research. The ground floor is a curio shop (you can buy antiques as well as tablea, batirol and jug sets... and woven products)... if you want to go to the 2nd floor (where their ancestral pieces are), you have to pay P150, but that comes with the tsokolate e experience

for reservation nga lang kasi they don't want so many people in the 2nd floor (old house eh) and they only have two dining tables for the chocolate meryenda (parang they allot 30 mins per group, unless it's a big group)

they also offer pansit molo for an extra P50 ata (minimum of 5)

we went there coz I havent tried the similar something in taal

haha...super lapit! we have a picture of MIL at the mama's kitchen sign   if you're coming from the junction and just walking, lagpas lang ng konti ng mama's kitchen...

^ah i see. malapit din ba yun sa isang ancestral house na may handmade sinamay embroidery? have you been there too? my folks say super exquisite daw ang mga burda and export quality.. wow wish i could go back

there's an ongoing metrodeal deal for iloilo-guimaras tour only for 4488. i think sulit na coz the traveller will get to stay at westown hotel at smallville in iloilo and at raymen resort on the 2nd night.

sis same date tayo. and confirmed na closed sila starting June 1 kasi I texted them early this morning lang. June 21-23 din kami.

sabi ni kuya mai, ok din daw sa kenyama. so kenyama at raymen ang choice ko now.

ay ano ba yan, oo nga no. ehhehe. naduling lang ako. =)

1400 daw rate ni kuya mai sa island tour kasama na yung sundo from port, drop kami sa resort at around 9 am then mga lunch magstart ng tour. hintay na lang daw nya kami sa raymen (kung dun kami matutuloy) kasi sabi ko malamang pagoda kami nun dahil 4am flight namin. so rest ng konti then tour na.

tapos 300 hatid sa port on our last day.

Ilan kayo dun sa 1400 sis? Im starting to prepare na rin kasi for this trip, kaya nagbabasa basa na rin ako sa thread na ito

Here's my initial plan

Day 1 - Arrive in Iloilo (late arrival)
           Just tour the City, Smallville

Day 2 - Iloilo Churches
           Halfday tour ng mga churches (esp. Miag-ao Church)
           PM: Travel to Guimaras
Day 3 - Island tour and Island Hopping
           Travel back to Iloilo/Airport (we have 7pm flight) 

Budget trip, targeting 3~4K budget per head
Later na lang yung mga details, research mode muna ako

sis parang hindi yata kaya yung island tour and island hopping in one day tapos balik kayo sa iloilo. or konting islands lang ang target nyo?

3 pax kami sis, trike yun. 1,500 nga sinisingil tapos sabi ko sa kanya sabi nya dati 1.2k lang yung tour. so 1.4k na lang kasama ang sundo.

Just note that there are more food choices at Raymen than Kenyama... and the sand at Raymen beach is finer. However, Guisi Beach (where Kenyama is) is more isolated, bigger (more nga parang cove sya) and is near Guisi Lighthouse na    Not sure lang if they start island tours there... but at least you can do the rest of the inland sights when on your way back to the port na lang... kasi Guisi is out of the way talaga

HELGA... doaleb I think yung inland and island hopping in Guimaras for a day, but you have to prioritize sights. Usually 3 hours keri na yung island hopping (you can't really swim in each stop lang nga)... and you have to start real early so you'd have enough time for stops, emergencies, etc

sa kenyama, according sa site nila at kay kuya mai, may sarili na din silang boat for island hopping. yun nga lang, mas malayo siguro ang area ng kenyama?

those sights are all really near raymen   I can't estimate  how far they are from Guisi beach though (alam ko lang, an hour's land travel ang Guisi from Raymen) kasi nga we went to Guisi via multicab (it's possible Guisi is closer to SEAFDEC via water, and farther naman ang Baras/Turtle Island area... baliktad if you're coming from Alubihod beach)

better check din if your Kuya Mai's rates are the same (sa hatid-sundo) to Kenyama/Guisi area... kasi nga it's much farther than Raymen nga (don't believe the exploreiloilo site, it is definitely around an hour away via multicab!)

hope you read rin my blog posts on Guimaras so you can better estimate yung distance...
