^^ Hi sis. How do we get to Alubihod? My husband and I are planning to go there this May with our 2 year old son. Safe kaya na dalhin namin yung son ko? We went there 3 years ago pero sa Raymen kami nag stay with my family in Iloilo. If I'm not mistaken, Raymen yata ang pinakamalapit na resort na e. We want to try to visit a new beach naman sana. =)

Mga sis, share ko lang yung trip namin to Iloilo-guimaras last week.

First day

-  check in sa century 21
- lunch at sm (inasal)
- nagpafish spa sa tibiao fish spa

Second day
- breakfast at green mango
- lunch at tatoy's
- dinner at sm

Third day
- went to la puerta al paraiso. Super Ganda ng place. Medyo malayo nga lang pero worth it naman. Nothing special with the food.
- visit Trappist tsaka yung bilihan ng guimaras mango

4th day
- lunch at bourbon
- foot reflexology at tibiao ( recommended)
- biscocho house
- airport

Di na kami masyado naglakwatsa kasi 3rd time na namin ng Bakasyon sa Iloilo.
- stay at smallville 21

KIZ... Raymen is on Alubihod Beach   Yung ibang resorts ata have also nice beaches, but are farther... if day trip... baka keri lang but I didn't want to risk ants (like in Baras Beach resort) or erratic cellphone signal (like in Villa Igang ata) with my kids so we stayed at the safest bet

 Yung La Puerta seems to be getting great reviews... I was honestly dismayed lang na they lifted pictures off a guest's site w/o asking for permission... tsaka not within our budget na sya kaya we stayed at Raymen (I also didn't want na super liblib kasi I thought, if something happened and we need to go to hospital or get supplies, gusto ko madali)

Ah. Alubihud beach pala yun sis. hehe Didnt know that. If me, my husband and my 2 year old son lang ang pupunta dun sis, mas better kaya na mag tricycle nalang kami or mag jeep nalang? How much po yung rate ng tricycle and how much per head yung jeep? Dadaan naman yung jeep sa Raymen Beach? Or we will have to walk pa going there?

@iamjoei yep, i stayed in guimaras for three days. no tours though. nagrelax lang talaga sa resort.. possible siguro ang half day island hopping sa guimaras super time management lang ang kailangan mo.. once you get to iloilo head straight to the wharf, buy boat tickets. then once you get to jordan wharf in guimaras, talk to tricycle drivers or boatmen and try to get a good deal. they also have an information area there na nakalagay yung mga sikat na tourist spots. sayang, kuya ryan, our tricycle driver at the time didn't have a cellphone number.. so i can't give you a contact person in guimaras.. i hope you have fun there sis

hi sis, ako i stayed in la puerta al paraizo.. super loved the resort! (i've written a review pero di ako sure kung pwede magpost ng link?) nung una, 500 lang yung agreement  namin nung tricycle driver pero malayo kasi yung la puerta, siguro mga 40-45 km away from jordan and parang tinour na rin kami, we had stopovers sa ilang tourist spots.. nahiya kami sa driver so dinagdagan namin.. i think we gave him 800.. tapos inarrange na rin namin sa kanya yung pagsundo pabalik naman ng jordan..

kiz... we stayed at raymen nga   uhm...I think the going rate for tricycle hire is P250 na now (one way) and 450 pag multicab...we got the multicab kasi we were 4 adults and 2 kids (with luggage for a week kasi nga we're going to iloilo and bacolod pa)

standard naman din ang rate ng tricycle... makaka-discount ka lang if you bargain with them and also get them for yung inland hopping tour and return trip to the wharf pag aalis na kayo

i'm not sure if you can take a public transport (as in jeep) kasi parang bihira lang... you might have to wait for long...and sasadyain ang Raymen area

ang plus point ng raymen for your child is pino na yung sand, so magsasawa na sya kakalaro... but do feel free to try other beaches there     you might want to check my Guimaras blog posts in my blog (link in my siggy) just so you can compare Raymen from 3 years ago and now (f may nagbago ba or wala)

sis delisyus, you said may issue on ants sa baras beach resort, can you please elaborate... balak kasi namin dun mag stay sa july... kasama rin namin yung toddler namin, kaya id like to know much about it sana before we proceed with the reservation. Thanks in advance

i also wrote a review ng la puerta al paraizo...di pwede mag post ng link eh. hahaha. pero when you search la puerta al paraizo you will see my review agad, review manila name ng review blog ko. super nice ng place.

I read reviews kasi at tripadvisor.com so read them na lang din   Also, the one who said ant-infested sya was a review from August 2011 pa, but since we here in Manila have ant issues no matter how much we clean, what more wooden huts in the province, right?

july pa... 25 to 27... medyo mahal yung rooms nila... 3600 ang sabi sa akin... kailangan ko kasi queen size na bed para co-sleep namin yung anak ko... parang mas mahal pa pala sila kaysa sa costa aguada.
