question sissies, if may nakakaalam sa inyo, kasi my inlaws are chinese. chinese passport holder sila but dito na sila sa manila nagstay more than 20yrs na and legal naman stay nila. gusto rin nila mag apply ng US visa for tourism, prob is hindi sila marunong mag english. if we'll apply together with them (hubby and i) pwede ba yun sabihin namin they cant speak english? or is there a way/process kaya for cases like theirs?

mga sis.. i'm applying for L1B visa and i heard mahirap makakuha nito. Super kinakabahan ako, 2.5years palang ang total experience ko tingin niyo ba maliit lang ang chance kong ma-approve? ang mga kasabayan ko kasi sa company usually mga 4+ years na yung experience.

no sis. pero angh alam ko may interpreter sa loob ng embassy. not sure pano irerequest yun. pero pag sila ang tinanong hindi pwedeng kayo ang sumagot.

just want to go to US together with my kids for leisure. Hindi kasama si hubby kasi hindi naman sya mahilig mag travel abroad.  Ito ang mga napuntahan ko na bansa. twice in HK, Macau and UAE.  Ang mga bata HK-Macau lang. Malaki kaya ang chances ko na ma-approve ang tourist visa namin sa US? may enough money kami ni hubby sa bank. we have also lot in Dasma and Manila, we have own business (computer shop it runs for 7 years ( kay hubby naka named ang computer shop) . Si hubby may relatives sa US 3 aunts nya doon, ako wala.  TIA!

^^may possibility pero 50-50 kasi kasama mo kids while si hubby maiiwan, they "might" think na you and hubby is parang planning to separate kaya you'l; br bringing your kids tapos iwan siya. then yung business kay hubby lang naka-name. are you working ba? siguro if you can ask for leave letter from your company as supporting docs. travel history di na nila papansinin yan.

What are the chances po kaya on our situation? I dont have work, 2 years na since nag ka baby SAHM na ako..hubby works for 4 years earning 35-40k per month kasama na bonus..plan namin mag apply kasama si baby..apply kame as a family..family ni hubby andito lahat may tita ako sa states pero immediate family is here..any chances kaya?heheh.

sis you never know till you try talaga eh. Minsan kasi depende talaga sa consul. I suggest apply ka lang and really prove you are coming back like letter showing leave days ni hubby mo, school cert ni baby etc. Kung nandito immediate family mo plus yun for you kasi it means stronger ties in manila.

Do you have a position in your business? Like manager or something. If so you can apply alone, if the business is named under hubby and youre purely a housewife apply with your kids. Just be ready with a letter stating that your husband is allowing your kids to travel, certificate of enrollment of your kids etc.

I believe every application has a chance talaga, its just up to you and how the interview will go with the consul. God bless your application.

Thanks you sis vain_kixie! wala akong position sa negosyo namin ni hubby sa kanya kasi nakapangalan sa DTI, ITR. sa bank namin sa amin dalawa nakapangalan pati ang lot title . Ako nalang siguro muna mag-apply.

is there such a thing as "too early" to apply for a US visa?

Example, we (as a family) plan to go to the US in April-May 2014. Is it too early if we apply around March 2013?

Concerns ko kasi:
1. If we apply earlier in the year, mejo malayo pa sa "quota" na visa issuances for the year.
2. We can take advantage of early booking promos for airline tickets.

Apat kasi kami, sayang din kung malaki ang early bird discount, malaki din possible na matitipid namin.

^nothing is too early, imho. the stated travel dates are just for formality and not compulsory. so better to be early than sorry if magkaron ng good deals sa airfare. regarding quota for tourist visa, di rin kasi masabi. i have friends who applied later in the year pero approved. meron naman early months ng year pero disapproved.

If ikaw lang mag-aaply and di kasama kids, better chances since may babalikan kang kids.

sisses, if i intend to leave for the US ba this holidays and magpapasched palang ako ng interview for the visa, is that possible? abot pa kaya or may makuha pa kaya akong sched?

pag hindi mo isasama ang kids mo, the consul can look at it either: maghahanap ka ng work doon kaya hindi mo sila isasama or babalik ka talaga ng Pinas kasi nandito kids and hubby mo.

if they are both studying and you can submit both their enrollment certificates proving they are currently enrolled thus babalik kayong lahat sa pinas. This could work for all your advantage.
