examiner30 , nag over age kasi sya nung nakuha ng family nya yung visa nila to migrate. her dad had to file a petition for her. ang sabi ng immigration lawyer matagal pa sya makakakuha ng visa. ang sinabi nga baka mga 50 yrs pld na sya bago pa nya makuha yung visa. she's an industrial engineer graduate. she's been working for the same company for 10-11years. she's single and in her early 30's. wala naman epekto yun sa petition sa pag apply ng toursist visa.

ako din naka petition sa US at approved na yung petion ng sister ko sa akin nung kumuha ako ng tourist visa. ang difference lang namin nung kumuha ako ng visa ay nandito pa yung parents ko sa pilipinas. so nung tinanong ako ng consul ng are your parents here in the phil, ang sagot ko yes. di ko nga lang alam kung alam ng consul napamigrate na mom ko at that time. kasi a few months after ng interview ko, nacompleto ng mom ko yung requirements and medical for her visa. i am also single like my friend. mas angat pa nga sya sa akin kasi ang tagal na nya sa company. yung sweldo ko maliit lang at halatang nadisappoint yung consul nung narinig nya yung sweldo ko. the reaction of the consul to my monthly salary made me feel that she was going to deny me. i felt weak, sad and i guess i felt like crying. but she surprised me by giving me a 10 year multiple entry visa.

matagal makaalis yung mga adult children/siblings na approved na ang petition. mahaba ang pila sa visa sa phil kasi madaming nakapetition. matagal ng approved yung petion sa akin pero gaya ng friend ko baga mga 50 na ako maka migrate.

sis greyzie, pano ipapa attach ang old passport sa new?

prettyarcher, wag ka na pumunta sa travel agency. wala naman sila talagang matutulong syo. you just have to bring your documents (bank statements, land titiles, ITR etc.). as for the old passports, just bring all of them. para in case tignan maipapakita mo sa kanila. sa case ko di naman tinignan yung old passports ko. pero yung isang nakasabay ko, narinig ko na hinanap yung old passport nya kasi renewal daw sya. kahit na di ka renewal, you need to bring all of your passport specially if  you have been to other countries. good luck.

help mga sis..

nakapagsave na ako ng ds-160 pero hindi ko pa sya submit. napansin ko lang walang previous work/education sa akin, next na agad sa security & background. ganun din sa mother ko, renewal na kase kami. tapos sa husband ko na 1st time applicant meron sa kanya na previous work/education. ganun ba talaga? baka kase nalagpasan ko pero wala talaga hindi ko na makita yung edit previous work/education. try ko din mag new, fill up ko lahat ganun pa din pero hindi ko save. napansin ko din sa application ng son ko wala din work/education na lumalabas bale 2 yrs old lang sya.

4 kami sabay sabay magpainterview, me & my mother renewal na (d na kami pasok sa vrp eh), my husband & my son 1st time applicant kaya sabay sabay na kami, family naman. ask ko din pano kami magkasabay-sabay sa interview, date  & time, san na ako pupunta na site?

next week ako magbayad sa bpi (diba individual deposit slip kami?) pwede na ba agad isubmit applications namin at pasched na agad interview? may oras ba dapat?

may sched pa ba for nov or dec?

^I think kaya walang work/education background kasi renewal na (guess ko lang yan ha).  For sure may record na sila ng work and education mo from your first application.  Kaya din siguro may work/education background husband mo kasi first time niya.  They need to make a record kaya madami questions.

For you son, i think kaya wala din kasi 2 years old pa lang siya.  Na-read na siguro nung system na 2 baby pa siya based sa year of birth niya.

If I'm not mistaken, may option dun na parang tatanungin ka if may kasama yung principal applicant (dad ko since sagot niya lahat) or parang any dependent applicants, something like that.  Kaya sabay-sabay schedule namin. Di ba kelangan mo mag-register sa For Schedule of Interview website? Register the principal applicant, you or husband mo or kung sino ang major applicant, then sa last few stages yung questions na yun. No need to register again for yourself, your son and others.  Pero first timers kami nyan ha, i don't know lang for you and your mom since second time ninyo na. Same din siguro yun.

What are the chances of a pregnant woman (myself) getting a tourist visa? My husband might leave for the US again for a short visit. Ayaw akong iwan so sabi nya, sama na lang daw ako.  hmmm..

Ayoko din syang umalis kasi eh. Pero medyo importante kasi yung lakad nya. We're still weighing things out. Ayaw nya naman na umalis tapos magka emergency ako nang wala sya dito. So 50-50 chance pa din yung byahe nya.

nung nagpa-renew kasi ako ng passport they attached it with a rubber band, hindi ko na inalis. bale yun cover nung bago at luma they were attached by a rubber band sa pinaka-spine. i'm sorry di ko ma-describe ng maayos pero sana ma-imagine mo

sis maika14, sis honestly tagilid ka if mag-aapply ka ngayong preggy ka. they will think kasi na dun ka manganganak sa US which is gawain ng marami. kung yung tummy mo di pa halata pwede pa siguro, but if noticeable na yan, diyan ka maiipit. tapos you're on leave pa sa work.

^ Same thinking sis.. Hubby also said, they might think it's an anchor baby. And yes, obvious na ako. Hehe. And since it's gonna take a few more weeks for the schedule, well, I might be heavily looking preggers na by then. Thanks for the thought, sis.

He might not go na din. The oldies from the US doesn't wanna take the blame should something happen to me and they got hold of my husband. Sa lahat ng ayaw nila, yung nasisisi. Soooo... Hubby is partially off the hook na and will probably just stay until I deliver safely. Thank heavens...

^pero may friend kami ni hubby sa us siya nanganak. she applied the visa 2months pa lang siya or going 2 months pa lang. and maliliit magbuntis kasi mga chinese eh. tapos she went there mga 5months na ata siya nun, winter time daw nun kaya yung suot niya malaki kaya di pansin sa immigration. then nag-stay na siya dun till makapanganak. mahal lang binayaran nila, half a million peso pero plan na kasi talaga nila yun. so yung kids nila dual citizenship. but then di talaga halata bump niya nun plus pinagp[lanuhan naman talaga nila na dun siya manganganak even before pa siya ma-preggy.

^ My husband's cousin too, did the same. Although she has this heart condition din kasi (enlargement of the heart ata?) kaya all 3 kids, are dual citizens. Hindi naman nasita. But last I heard, they renounced the US citizenship na. But they still maintain their B1/b2. As for us, wala din sa plans namin na manganak dun. Kahit may pending EB3 ako, we aren't prepared to leave yet. Madami pang dapat tapusin dito si husband. Plus, correct me if I'm wrong, they have to bring the kids to the US every year ba pag ganun?

^alam ko not every year sis. kasi automatic permanent resident na mga kids sa us eh. parang every 2 or 3 or 4years lang nila dinadala. the kids kasi are studying here in HK. pero pag kasi pupunta sila sa us they always ask me ano gusto ko ipasuyo pabili kaya i know not every year eh. forgot lang how many years dapat.

Nakakuha father ko ng 10years visa..1st time nya mag apply pero in and out na sya ng US because of his work..seaman sya..this time nag  apply sya ng B1/B2.. medyo masungit daw nag interview sa kanya pero still binigyan pa rin sya..as much as possible mas okay na isama nyo yung old passport nyo lalo na kung may previous travels na kayo..kase before si papa may applicant na hinanapan ng old passport so better bring it na lang..

Hi sisses! First time ko mag-apply ng US Visa. I am well traveled pero hindi pa lang talaga nakapag-try mag-apply for US Visa. I am newly-married and si hubby, well Malaysia and US lang travel niya. We have upcoming trip to hong kong and macau this december.

1. Do you think we should complete that trip first before applying para may tatak na new passport ni hubby ulit? Although nagka-US visa na siya before, around 2010. ! year single entry lang but he used it naman.

2. If they ask us what we'll do in the US, ang totoong sagot ko talaga is I want to finally see US. Relatives from my side and his side will be the ones to host us, and in between maybe we can go on our own like 3 days in a hotel in some cities kasi mahirap naman makituloy sa lahat ng pupuntahan. Hubby also wants to watch an NBA game and a football game, so baka Nov next year ang punta namin. Is that convincing enough? Yun kasi talaga eh. Wala naman akong mabigat na rason except I want to see US and see my relatives nadin.

just be careful for those planning to give birth in the US. a friend did that, but she claimed welfare. now when she tried to renew her visa, she was denied embassy said to just wait for her son to petition her (kid was just 5 yrs old that time)

just make sure that you have a legitimate reason why you should give birth there -- husband is studying, you have some official business there, etc. hindi yung basta na lang gusto mo pumunta dun at bigla ka naabutan ng panganganak mo.

new application when i applied. always kasi pag nagpa-renew ako ng passport the recently expired and the new passport lagi nila (DFA) attach kaya di ko na tinatanggal.

pink baby, IMO your HK/Macau trip would not make or break your visa application to the US. So you may apply now before you visit HK. When we as a family got our first 10 year multiple none of us, except for my father have traveled. As in kahit na Asian country wala but we were still given 10 years multiple, first timer kami ha.

You don't need to have many relatives for the US embassy to allow you to visit their country. What they really care about is kung babalik ka ng Pinas. Mom ko nga almost 60 years old na ang reason niya for renewal is to visit Disneyland. Approve siya ulit. Hindi mo kailan ng mabigat na reason to visit ang dapat mo ma- prove is mas mabigat na reason na uuwi kapa dito.

^Thank you sis! enough na ba yung tenure sa company (6 years working for a TV network, and hubby 3 years for a multinational company), and title ng newly-acquired condo na next year ang turnover to prove na babalik naman kami? Mabigat naman ang reason kong bumalik kasi wala naman akong immediate family na andun. Isip ko lang kasi baka ask ako why I want to go to US, ngayon ko lang kasi talaga napag-isipan kung anong sasabihin ko doon mas maganda ngang magprepare ng proof na babalik talaga kami ng husband ko dito newly married nga pala kami

wow great to hear sis na di pa kayo nakatravel and yet 10 years multiple binigay sa inyo! My husband's sister is a college student. Sabay sila nag-apply ng husband ko and he's employed ng airline company ha, and yet she got a 10 yrs multipe kahit student palang siya while he got only 1 year single entry hehe
