Bank Payment Process Change: Review the new instructions for paying at the bank. Starting September 1, 2012, it will be necessary to bring the printed deposit slip to the bank for payment. The bank will not process your visa fee without the correct deposit slip.

San lugar ko makikita yung correct deposit slip? Last time kasi na nagprocess ako, diretso lang naman ako sa bank then nagbayad ako. Ngayon pagpunta ko sa bank hinihingan ako ng correct deposit slip.

mga sis! i need help. im the one who'll renew my parents' visa kasi, you know hindi sila masyado alam pag online.

step1 diba mag babayad muna. eh may hinihingi naman sa BPI na payment form or bank's copy etc. and REFERENCE NUMBER. Pero sabi naman sa site, first step is paying the fee, then fill up the form.

I do not have any idea. can someone enlighten me po? would gladly appreciate all your help. Thanks!

naku sis baka pati sa renewal same na din ng procedure, ganyan din sinabi sa amin sa bank hiningan kame nung deposit slip, andun sya sis sa bandang baba ng pay visa click mo lang dun

sissies, i filled out the ds160 form last week pero hindi ko natapos. i failed to get my application ID hinihingi pala siya para macontinue ko pag sign sa form. pwede ba ko mag fill out nalang ng new form and get a new application ID? thanks!

finally nabigyan na rin yung isang friend ng sis ko. 4th try na niya. to think renewal lang yon ha (ever since bata pa siya may US visa na, nastart lang ma deny deny after college graduation)

naka set na talaga na iwan siya dito sa Manila kasi buong family niya magvacation sa US for the holidays. kawawa yung bata kung nagkataon. buti nalang naihabol.

hindi mo talaga alam anong hinahanap ng mga consuls minsan. sabay sabay naman kasi sila ng parents niya nag renew. tapos siya lang na deny.

may cousin rin ako ganito rin ang situation. denied for renewal, college student naman., buong mag anak binigyan except siya.

Yung brother ko sis, nung ng renew siya ng visa he was a few days shy of being 21, student din. He was asked a lot of questions even my mom who was with him since she placed her name as sponsor to my brother.

He was asked where he's studying, when's he graduating (next year), course etc
Mom ko naman was asked about her income and work. Usually pag VRP minimal lang questions yung sa kanila parang first time application.

Ako ang question lang was my name and my birthday.

Red flag kasi sa kanila ang 21 (22, 23) years old and single.

I hope merong makasagot nito... i have a question about transit visas to the US... mas malaki ba ang chances na ma-approve for that? we're thinking of getting one so that we can avail of cheaper flights to Brazil via US. Anyone??? Thanks in advance!

I guess it is but even with visit visas medyo may swerte factor din and how well you do during the interview. I hope someone more knowledgeable can help you.

Sis how much cheaper going to Brazil pag galing sa US? what airline are you looking at.

^^^ naku mukhang malabo pala ako marenew lalo na kung contractual lang ako sa work? sorry nadepress talaga ako dun. my family is planning to go there next year sa Florida, this will be our 2nd trip there if ever... my mom and dad renewed recently, my kuya and ate valid pa visa. just us 3 younger siblings ang expired, one is graduating, the other is a scholar in UP with 1 more year to go. my mom will apply for our renewal sa Qatar daw (dun siya nagpa renew).

Of the three of us, who has lesser chances of getting renewed?

if you were a holder of a 5 year multiple visa kasi for VRP ka na.

So you will fly pa to Qatar to renew your us visa?

My 21 year old brother naman was given another 10 year multiple. Medyo madami nga lang tanong but he was still approved. He used his previous 10 year visa once only.

^Hi sis, sorry what's VRP?  I'm 22 na. My sister is 19 before she graduates from college. Both of us alam ko 10 year multiple entry (kasi naaalala ko grade school pa yata ako when I went to the embassy). We used it only once, back in Dec 2007-Jan 2008.

My mom said ipapa-pouch lang nya when she's there (PR kasi siya sa Qatar, my dad kasi works there).

So may chance pa rin pala... Thanks sis! I'm wondering same kaya ng level of strictness sa Qatar, and mas maliit kaya chance if they dn't interview me? Problema ko talaga is work cause I don't plan on renewing my 6-month contract in January 2013...

VRP means Visa Reissuance Program. http://manila.usembassy.gov/niv-vrp.html

 Basically very minimal interview and no documents needed if you fall under this category. When did your visa expire ba? Ako nga I resigned from work na when I renewed my visa (of which I did not declare and was even engaged to a US citizen to which now I am married to).

I am not certain of QR US embassy's procedure but I was once based abroad too and I believe you need to be at least a PR of that country for them to process your visa.

And may packets pa ba ngayon? They use to allow that in Manila back in 2000 pero ngayon not allowed na. I acquired my previous 10 year visa using that process.

I saw this in the website of the US embassy in Qatar:
"Personal appearance is required by applicants 14 years and older on the day of their scheduled appointment.  Arrive not more than 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time.  To speed up the process for entry, only applicants are required to come".

You are over 21 too so you're not considered dependent anymore according to US standards.

I suggest you apply before your contract expires and don't tell them your contractual (unless asked of course), whether here or in Qatar (if pwede nga talaga). Kasi you never know how those Consuls think.

^I see. Between January to May 2012 nag expire visa ko so I believe I am still qualified for this. Thanks sis! Actually I just took as true what my mom told me, didn't bother to check the site of QR US Embassy until now. I have read through it as well as yung VRP and I guess I could just go for VRP. I'll have to tell my mom na rin. Thanks again!

Go for VRP here at US Embassy Manila. You don't have to bring any documents with you, passport lang. God bless with your application. Im glad to be of help.
