ive heard that there is a sabrett kiosk  which is inside the U.S embassy compound in manila that I would like to visit.

My question is, do U.S Green Card holders residing in the Philippines have to fall in line before we get inside the compound or can we just breeze through the security check and long lines just as easily as U.S citizens?

Medyo naguguluhan ako kase. Mag print muna ba kame ng receipt and then pay bago fill out ng ds-160 form?

^ you can do that, but I think it doesn't matter kung ano ang uunahin mo. Kasi ang payment is valid for one year naman. Ako kasi nag start sa online application then sinave ko muna then nag bayad ako. tapos tinapos ko na lang yung application. Will you pay thru bpi ba?

^^^Sis,may mga Sabrett Kiosk naman na hindi inside US Embassy.Meron sa Market Market. And i don't think that they will let you inside the US Embassy without a legit business and appointment even if you are a green card holder. Lalo na ngayon, mas strict sila.

^^ yes, sa bpi pero over the counter..so na print ko na yung "usa visa fee deposit slip" then payment na? then may nabasa ako about sa receipt number, para san ba yun?

^Pag na print mo na yung deposit slip punta ka sa bpi then bayad ka na dun. then they will attach your deposit slip sa bpi deposit slip. so bali dalawa yung papel yung makukuha mo. Keep it dahil kailangan mo yan para makapasok sa embassy. I called the embassy's office for appointment and hiningi yung receipt number.  Hindi ko lang alam if same pag online appointment.

Thanks sis! Naka pag fill out na rin ako ng DS-160 form online after nun yung picture na tapos kuha na ng sched diba?..hihih. Icheck ko na lang, natatakot kasi ako magkamali..gosh sayang bayad pag nag ka taon..

We had our appointment this morning. Kasabay ko ang brother and sister ko and we all got approved! Hay tapos na rin sa wakas. Our schedule was 7:30, we got there mga 6:45. Natapos kamj ng 9:30. Sis hayne22, make sure na hindi labas ang ngipin mo sa picture at papapalitan nila pagdating sa embassy. May kodak naman dun pero syempre hassle kung papakuha ka pa ulit ng picture.

@ sis hayne22 , Make sure to review all your answers sa online application. once na submit mo na yan hindi mo na pwede balikan. Yung first attempt ko nga mag fill in ng applications nawala ko yung reference number kaya inulit ko lahat haha.

mga sis, i paid kanina sa bpi and vinalidate lang nila yung receipt i printed from the website, wala na additional bpi receipt. ok lang ba yun?

I think pwede na yan sis as long as nandun yung receipt number. Yung sa akin kasi binigyan ako ng duplicate copy ng deposit slip nila. Pero same lang naman nakasulat. Wag mo lang iwawala yang customer's copy mo sis.

@un1z nun nagfillout ako ng ds-160 last month wala yung question regarding travel to previous countries.

Just had my interview today mga sisses... And I got approved! The first time I was denied was in 2010. I was at window 11 and the consul was a guy. Mukhang bata pa. Ganito conversation namin:

C: good morning
Me: good morning
C: what's the purpose of your visit?
Me: vacation. Short vacation.
C: where in US?
Me: Massachusetts.
C: who are you visiting?
Me: my sister
C: what does she do for work?
Me: she's a nurse
C: Are you married?
Me: not yet. Soon to be. (Gusto ko actually sabihin engaged na ko. Hehe)
C: what's your work?
Me: Sr. Officer for Risk & Compliance Management
C: you work in a bank?
Me. No. BPO.
C: How much do you make a month?
Me: Pxx,xxx basic salary with Px,xxx allowances
C: have you traveled outside the philippines?
Me: yes. Abu Dhabi and Singapore
C: Okay. We'll have your visa delivered next week.

Nagulat ako sisses. Parang everything happened in a blur. And pag alis ko ng window sabi ko sarili ko "so hindi binalik passport ko, approved yun di ba?" Haha. Nakakatawa talaga. Thank God talaga at naapprove din ako. Di na inask if may ibang relatives pa ko sa US e ako nalang natitira dito tapos yung sister ko approved na immigrant visa.

830am ako sis. :-) i was there around 730am and natapos ako around 10-1030am ata.
