Wala pa akong kilala na VRP na na-deny. Wala nang interview, processing of documents and then biometrics lang.

@bituin, it's almost sure na approved pag VRP.  I've heard of one though, who was denied a visa kahit VRP  'coz she stayed for 6 months in the US during one of her visits.

Question: Sa 2x2 picture ba dapat naka lugay ang buhok ?  Pwede naka tali?

When I renewed my Visa may nakasabay ako sa restroom sa US embassy, pauwi na siya, na deny daw siya. They questioned her for her long stay. Hindi nga 6 months pero may 2 ata siyang 5 months stay kaya they denied her.

bitterswit, married ka to an american citizen diba? Would you declare it?.. I renewed my visa through the VRP and got a 10 year multiple ulit. Ako lang mag isa. Nauna na mom and brother ko. Pero I did it before I got married.

^yes sis married to an american citizen. Hindi ko na lang i-declare na married ako. kasi yung Philippine passport ko surname ko pa and sa 2014 pa expiry.

^sis, you should declare na married ka na. Ok lang naman kung surname momng single yung nasa passport mo. Saka malalaman din yan ng US Embassy kung married ka or hindi kasi nagba-background check sila. Bakit mo sis ayaw ideclare na married ka na? Mas mahaba ang expiry date ng US Visa kesa sa passport. Pag expired ng passport mo sa 2014 at nabigyan ka halimbawa ng US Visa with your maiden name, it means ba pag nag renew ka ulit ng passport ay di mo ulit idedeclare na married ka na? It will be an unending cycle pag nagkataon.

Nung nagpakasal kasi ako, hindi pa expired ang US Visa ko. kaya for the duration na hindi pa expired ang US Visa ko and i constantly travel to US, magkaiba ang surname ko sa passport (bearing na my married name) and my US Visa (maiden name). Hindi naman ako nagkaroon ng problem kahit once sa pagkakaiba. Then last year, nung nagexpired ang US Visa ko, pinapalitan ko na ng married name ko. Ayun, magkapareho na ang passport at US Visa surnames ko.

Sis Super_she,madali lang mabigyan ang kids pag may US visa na rin ang parents nila. Ang approval naman nila ay nakabased lang sa parents nila.

sis bittersweet, hindi nga kaya ma track nila yun? Kasi remember your husband then fiance obtained an Affidavit in Lieu of the Legal Capacity to Marry from the US embassy? If i remember it correctly may name and address doon ng fiancee? Sabagay wala naman middle name required ata and from what I recall sa research ko the US gov doesn't track marriages unlike satin dito naka NSO. So baka lumusot.

Mega praning ako when I applied for the renewal of my visa kasi nga i am getting married to a US citizen. Kaya ginawa namin is on the day I got my Visa, doon palang ng pa appointment my then fiance sa US embassy to obtain that certificate of legal capacity to marry. Naisip ko baka ma jeopardize yung visit visa ko at lagyan nila ng note na I am marrying a USC in a few months kasi I researched na you have to indicate the name of your fiancee and address niya (di naman specific, city lang naman). So ayun. Balak nga namin mag spend ng Christmas sa States this December. Goodluck nalang sa port of entry. Sana di ako tanungin kung married ako or not.

hmmm, wait na confuse ako .. so I still need to declare na I am married kahit na surname ko pa rin ang gamit ko sa passport and US visa ko?

Will they ask for the marriage contract sa embassy? Baka kasi sabihin nila sa akin na mag apply na lang ako ng spousal visa. Possible ba na I can still renew my US visa even if I am married to an American citizen?

Paano yan nasubmit ko na yung form online. Single ang nilagay ko dun.. mag kakaproblem kaya yan?

They will most likely tell you to apply for spousal visa. Parang automatic na kasi sa kanila yun since you are really qualified for petition.

I do not know also if they can track that your husband who is a US citizen is married to YOU. Naisip ko lang, do they note the affidavit in lieu of the certificate of legal capacity to marry that I am sure your then fiance, now husband got, pag hindi lusot ka

^yun nga sis kaya I don't want to declare that I am already married. Kasi ayaw pa ako petition ni hubby.

yung sa legal capacity to marry ba sis nakasulat ba dun kung sino magiging asawa niya? hindi ba parang CENOMAR version lang yun?

May name sis kung sino mapapangasawa. Pero if you come to think about it, hindi full name yun. No middle name yung sinulat ng hubby ko. May address din pero city lang hindi complete address. Im sure may kapangalan ka sa buong Pilipinas.

Wala kasi akong photocopy nung certificate na yun eh. I submitted it sa church namin. Baka makalusot. Sayang din kasi you already paid for the fee. If you declare married ka automatic denied yan. So if I were you since you submitted the form already, just go for it nalang. Pag pray mo nalang wag itanong sayo kung single ka or married na.

^waaah! nakasulat ba! hindi ko rin na photocopy! Lagot. haha I thought hindi nakasulat.. Oh well, sana hindi na ako tanungin! Sayang naman bayad ko pag hindi ako na tanggap. And tama ka rin sis if nilagay ko na married ako automatic na spousal visa ata dapat.
