sana di naman na masyado maulan tomorrow. i heard baha na sa may embassy. i have interview tomorrow. 2nd time ko bukas, sana naman maka renew nako ng visa ko.

Our yaya's US visa just got in today.  She was given 1 year.
We're so happy that she was able to get one. 
It'll be a big help travelling with her because our boys are really rowdy. 
We really didn't think that she would be given but we just had to try.

If you want your yaya to try for a visa too, prepare an Employment Contract that states that she will be paid the equivalent of the minimum age rate in the US and that'll she'll be given  2 days off a week.

mga sis i have a question, dun ba sa labas ng embassy e may mga fixers? naloka kasi ako sil ko, di kasi sya nakalusot sa interview last july 20, then nagulat ako last july 24, nakasched sya for another interview, i was told by my husband na may fixer daw na nag alok worth 300k, kaloka,uso pa ba yun? sabi ko malamang manloloko yun, gusto ng asawa ko kausapin ko ate nya, ayaw ko naman makialam, kasi nilihim nga nya skin meaninb wala syang balak sabihin sken un.

got denied. for the second time. haay hanggang ilan kaya na try mga nagta-try kumuha ng visa? may sumobra na ba sa tatlo?

sis baket ka daw nadenied? how old are you? for tourist ka ba? me too i was denied last april. 2nd take. alam ko kahit ilan basta may pera tayo pambayad. yun isa ko nga nakasabay pang 4th take na ata nya. pero may certain months ata bago ka magapply ulit...

hi sis, what happened to your SIL's interview? nabigyan ba siya ng visa?
parang mahirap ata i-"fix" ang pagkuha ng US visa. even travel agents the most that they can do is guide their clients lang on filling up the application and preparing the supporting documents. but after nun pagpasok sa embassy, ikaw na bahala sa sarili mo.

@filipinasadhart, well according sa blue paper na binigay naka check yun i'm not qualified daw. hahaha kaso ang tinanong saken na tinanong din saken last year was yun pag-stay ko sa US ng 5 months. yun last na punta ko kase don nung 2002, i stayed for 5 months. bakasyon lang. sa lahat ng punta ko don, never ako nag over stay and usually 2 weeks lang ako. feeling ko yon eh.

hindi ka ba nagwork nung 5 months na yon? magtataka talaga sila kasi 5 months bakasyon lang? dapat iprove mo sa kanila na bakasyon lang talaga yun.




fixers will just help you sa pagfill-up ng mga forms, at magkumpleto ng mga requirements kung kaya mo naman mag-isa kaw na lang. niloloko lang nila ang mga tao. akala kasi ng iba mahirap mag-apply. mahirap yung mga procedures. pagdating sa loob ng embassy mag-isa ka na lang kahit may fixer.

i'm also in my 30's and single but was granted, first time application. so, major factor talaga siguro yun 5 months stay, baka naka-flag na.

my friend's parents naman, laging maximized yun trips nila. nung ika-3rd, the point of entry immigration warned them na. ayun nilakad ng wala sa oras ng friend ko yung petition papers.

Hi Sisses! I was recently granted an immigrant visa (Permanent Resident) in Canada. My husband is a Permanent Card Holder (in Canada din of course) and is on the process of getting citizenship by this year. Im leaving the Philippines na this September and naisip ko lang to apply for US visa. Wala pa naman kaming plans to go visit the US anytime soon pero kasi ang layo ng Winnipeg (dun ako titira) to any US Embassies in Canada if ever mag-apply ako. Eh si hubby can visit na without visa kasi magiging Canadian passport na sya by this year.

Ok lang ba na no immediate plans to visit the US and ang main reason ko is ang layo and costly if sa Canada pa ako mag-apply?

@sixteen16, as in bakasyon lang ako don. pinapadalahan lang ako ng daddy ko ng pera non. and nag-stay ako sa mommy ko. pano ko ipo-prove? tinanong lang saken ano ginawa ko don. sinabi ko namang bakasyon lang din. dapat ba mag-show pa ako ng mga tickets and pictures? hehe di ko lang kase maintindihan.

@greyzie, oo nga eh. i dont really think naman na yon ang reason. kase di naman masyado ako tinanong about my status. tingin ko yun 5 months stay ko talaga don.

di ko tuloy alam kung makakailang try pa ako before ma-grant ng visa. to think renewal lang. baket kase bago lang ang VRP?

Meron bang mas madali or mas mahirap na type of US VISA na kukunin? Kasi my general purpose is to be trained sa isang sports na hilig ko. M Type Visa ata ito which is --- Students in Vocational or other Non-Academic Programs. Pero that is not to say wala ako balak maglibot which is the B2 type of VISA. So paano if ganito?

^pwede ka naman maglibot kahit M visa. difference lang are the requirements. you need proof from school or acceptance letter and visa request ng pagttrainingan mo.

Paid the visa fee earlier, around 1:00 pm. I'm allowed to set a schedule, basta after four hours since the payment was made na ang nakalipas? It's past 9PM and di pa din ako makapag-sched. Ang receipt number naman is yung passport number di ba? I'll try na lang siguro tomorrow morning, hopefully maging successful.

Edit: Dapat ba kung ano ang recent salary, yun ang ilalagay? Kasi just this month I got a salary increase pero it will probably take effect (and would show sa payslip) around September pa. Should I put my old salary or the new one? Ang pang support ko lang kasi as of the moment is yung photocopy nung pinirmahan ko for the salary increase and change of employment status. Nilagay ko na lang yung bagong salary.

Hi Sis prettynvain, kinausap ko na rin yung friend ko na nagwo-work sa US Embassy. Di sya taga-VISA section pero matagal na rin sya dun. Sabi nya better if B1/B2 kunin ko kasi mas doon nagbibigay nung mga 5-year and 10-year multiple entry than dun sa M type. Re acceptance letter, ewan ko lang pero hindi naman sya yung type ng course na tipong mahirap maka-enter. As long as magbayad ka and wala ka namang health problems/physically fit, ok ka na. Like scuba diving lessons, anyone can enroll as long as no health problems and magbabayad. Pero hindi scuba diving lessons ito ha! Hehe.. ;-)
 
So malamang baka magpa-consult din ako sa US Visa consultant. Ayaw kong ma-reject at maghintay ng 3 buwan for another appointment kasi deadset na talaga ako i-take next year yung course ko and syempre ang paglibot sa US.

^di ba yan school or some formal training center?? they will allow kaya with the b1/b2 visa? case and alam ko if visitor visa, unless professional athlete ka then you can enroll with some sports training/events. that will be considered illegal sis, unless you intend to do it illegally talaga. M-1 / F-1 visa and alam ko eh. not sure though. shorter yung m/f visa kase they sometimes will depend it sa duration ng studies mo.. pero di na run naman ata sill nagbibigay ng shorter visa ngayon eh.  b1/b2 matagal case may limit of stay ka every trip. and syempre, marami naming pabalik-balik din sa use to spend their holidays eh..

^ Hahaha! Natawa naman ako sis. Hindi naman ako professional athlete or something or hindi naman sya ganun ka-formal na school so wala namang illegal. LOL.     Mahilig lang ako sa airsports so gusto ko magtake ng lessons dun then gawin ko lang sya hobby dito. Haha! School sya pero not naman the serious type kasi anyone can enroll kasi for hobby lang sya. Think Scubaworld. Ewan ko lang kung nagbibigay ng acceptance letter ang mga diving schools sa US sa mga mag-e-enroll sa kanila kasi nga anyone can enroll. Hehe..

Oh well, better I'll just ask/hire a consultant. For me, mas madali kasi requirements sa M type. Mas madali i-prove na "valid" pagpunta mo dun kaso ang problem ko lang ay yung mukhang malayo sya mabigyan ng 5-year or 10-year multiple entry unlike kapag B1/B2. 'E' syempre, ayaw ko naman kada punta ng US, kuha ulit ng VISA diba?  Kapag B2 kasi, parang ang dami mong kailangang patunayan sa consul kasi parang karamihan yan ang rason. Kasi both naman talaga gagawin ko, mag-tour and magtake ng lessons. So confused ako ano kunin kong visa type. Wala namang Combo M and B2 visa type. LOL.

^kainis nga diba andameng klaseng visa. tapos pay first before appointment. at pag mali pa inaplayang visa, pagdududahan ka pa ngembassy. yup sis, better ask a consultant na lang. i'm not based in pinas kase pero i think you can call to inquire, dito case pwede eh.

OT: sa Pinas ba pag ang isang staff, regardless of nationality, pero work sa us embassy pwede ipagsabi or ikwento sa iba? dito bawl. as in nasa contract terms and agreement nila, they can automatically fire you once they know na may nakaalam except sa immediate family. i've been wanting to work sa embassy eh, wala naming mapagtanungan how to apply..
