^sydxoxo-good luck! I renewed mine under VRP last Oct. No questions asked & it took me less than an hour. Got a 10yr visa. My nth na. I renewed my kids' this May14, got 10yrs din all of them, incl my mom inlaw & sis inlaw. I was the one who fixed all their docs n appointments. My MIL was for renewal while my SIL (single, 40yo pedia who was prev denied 2yrs ago & has never travelled) were all so grateful (+ pts in the fam for me hehe). My kids & I flew to SFO 2days after I got their visaed passports. Just in time before summer vacation here ended. My inlaws are flying naman this Sunday night.

Thanks theflygirl! Sana sa renewal namin/ko wala din problem.  Question lang: Kasama na yung delivery fee (for the passports) sa binayaran namin na Visa Fee sa BPI d ba?

what info are needed to be able to schedule an interview? i havent finished the ds-160 form but i want to schedule an interview na sana kasi baka maubos na slots...

^ang alam ko sis kelangan talaga ma-complete mo yung online application before you can schedule your interview. connected kasi yung scheduling of interview sa online application mo.

^^ hahaha mas gusto ko talaga ang H&M kaysa sa Forever21... ready na lang sis sa I.O. pag dating sa US (port of entry), dapat pag nag tanong sila be alert... kasi isa 2x pa den kayo tatanungin, ok lang naman yun...

nagpa-sked ako ng exit interview sa 25... Problem is, may mali pala akong nasagot dun sa form, hindi sa ds160 ha, dun sa mismong fifillup-an pagpapaschedule.  Is there a way for me to alter my answer there without needing to re-sched? kase nung time na nagpasked ako, full na rin ang august and there are few remaining slots na lang sa september...

Problem is, may mali pala akong nasagot dun sa form, hindi sa ds160 ha, dun sa mismong fifillup-an pagpapaschedule.  Is there a way for me to alter my answer there without needing to re-sched? kase nung time na nagpasked ako, full na rin ang august and there are few remaining slots na lang sa september...

sis, you need to re-schedule ata. kase answers should be accurate and true eh. better be safe than sorry diba.

mga sis, tanong ko lang..im planning to apply us visa b1/b2 lang naman..me,my hubby and our 2 year old child..i don't have work pero before nakapag work ako sa call center for 1 year si hubby naman may wprk for 4years na..malaki kaya chances namen makakuha ng visa?..lahat ng kapatid ng mom ko andun na..mom ko naman multiple visa na rin yung binigay..so what you think mga sis?natatakot kase kame medyo malaking halaga ang ishe-shell out namen..please help me..

sis depende swertihan lang talaga ang pagkuha ng visa.  i try last april 2012 denied din. 2nd take na yun. swertihan lang talaga. True, super nakakahinayang yun money na shell out natin tapos nadenied lang.

Do you think I'll pass?It's for a wedding of my first cousin which I am the bridesmaid, I have the invitation and it states my name. Babalik naman ako. The trip is just for two weeks.

delikado sis.  daming denials ngayon. i don't know what's up with them.  probably talaga because of higher unemployment rate and those depending on govt support.  for a real tourist to be approved, you really have to establish VERY STRONG TIES to the Philippines.  the following will make your case stronger:

- tenured employment earning good amount
- with family (spouse and kids in Phils.)
- with major businesses and/or properties
- with clean history of previous US visits (if with expired visas), no overstay, no record of anything
- you have to prove that your ONLY purpose is to be a tourist (no more no less)
- not much family ties in the US (meaning, if buong pamilya eh nasa US na, ikaw na lang andito, super duper delikado ito)

just my tips:) i applied last November, was granted 10 years.  but that is due to my clean record in all my previous trips in the last 10 years (mostly work related, sent by company).
