Hi sisses! I want to take an exam in the States on November (I already applied and pay for the 800 USD exam fee), just waiting for the authority to take the test. My question is, kailan mas maganda mag apply for the visa? pwede na ba around july? or masyado ba maaga?

By the way, I was denied before, 2 years ago. I am single and I was a student then, ang reason for travel ko was to visit lang. And paulit ulit akong tinanong ng consul about travelling before. I said wala pa. So nag-invest ako, now I've travelled to Australia, Singapore, Malaysia, and I'm still thinking of travelling some more.

In your opinion sisses, mas may chance na ba ako makakuha ng visa now that I've travelled and I will have an authority to take the test document?

Hi sana naman me maktulong na sakin here....baliw na talaga because of this visa application....
I called the embassy to ask if I can change my application and they said ok lang daw kahit may sched na....

Di ako makapagfill up ng new kase naman i dunno if idedeclare ko ba na married ako kahit di pa sya registered sa PInas bale sa passenger ship abroad kase kami ikinasal by a ship captain....ngayon yung registrar dito samen where I belong is kind of walang alam or siguro dahil rare case lang yung samin,i nya ivalidate yung marriage which is from research ko at NSO sabi valid and legal daw naman sya....so since ikakasal na din naman kami sa CHurch dito sa Decembermag apply nalang kmi ng bukod na ML...Now should i state Im married sa application kahit gaono or hindi kase di pa sya registered>plus i  dont have the original copy pa...hubby have it kase paregister nya yun dun???i do have pictures ng wedding namin and photo copy ng marriage cert. plus syempre wedding ring????ok na bang proof yun???HELP PLEASE TIA

good day everyone!i just want to ask if pwede ba magsama ng companion or babysitter sa loob ng US Embassy sa interview..Me and my 2 kids will be having our interview next month..may toddler pa kasi ko kaya baka mahirapan ako pag ako lang mag isa..sorry no time to back read,ang haba and dami ng thread nito eh..thanks so much in advance!

My 4 kids have their appointment on Monday. The two older ones are up for renewal while my two younger ones are first time applicants. Since they're all minors, at least 1 parent is required. In my case, my husband will be there as well. We're both holders of 10yr visas. As far as I know, not allowed Ang companion inside the embassy, esp since a parent is present and is also an applicant. Remember, in the US, no nannies nga cos it's costly, kaya parents are mostly left to fend for themselves. If you want to be sure, contact the embassy to inquire. I read somewhere that they give priority to people with kids and senior citizens so that would be very helpful to us.

My SIL had her renewal interview a couple of days ago and she was told to expect her passport after 7 days?! I was surprised because mine last year took 3 days only. I'm planning to leave na sana by Thu or Fri next week.

mga sis, question lang, ok lang ba na black & white yung confirmation letter ko? ni print ko kasi eh wala ako colored kaya black&white sya..

tumawag ako kanina sa US Embassy to ask regarding sa companion..fortunately puwede daw but still discretion pa din ng greeters kung papasukin sa loob ang companion..

tanong naman po. magre-reapply po ako ng visa. nagfi-fill up nako ng form. i was denied last october sa renewal ko. so ngayon, isa sa questions ay:

Q: Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?

dapat ba YES na to? kase refused naman yun pag-deny diba?

They didn't even look at the documents I brought with me, the interviewer asked lang to see my previous passport because she asked me if I have traveled in other countries and I have, as a proof she looked at my Australia, UK and Irish visas

^ go apply lang sis! i've been denied also but last March I got my 10 years multiple entry US visa. Just complete all the requirements. And be honest in answering all their questions. They didn't even look at the documents I brought with me, the interviewer asked lang to see my previous passport because she asked me if I have traveled in other countries and I have, as a proof she looked at my Australia, UK and Irish visas

we just got our visas last week!!!  my sister is a nurse but she's working in a call center. the consul asked her "you're a nursing graduate, why should you come back here in the philippines?" for a moment we thought we will be denied because the consul did not ask for a single document, just our passports. whew..

My kids, mother in law & sister in law were all approved last Monday. I'm waiting for the passports today. Leaving early next week n hoping to be back before school starts. 😊

mga sis, i need your insights. I encountered this question on the ds-160 online form of my Dad. "Have you been previously employed for the last 5 years (if applicable)?" Na-confuse ako, i'm filling out my dad's form, he has been operating his own business for 21 years. But he was employed until 1991. Do we still list down this last employer? Thanks!!!
