siguro sis they were looking for ties sa manila. Like bank statements or property/s na meron ka sana i think that would help sa next time you apply. pero minsan kasi it really depends sa consul. Was your consul the korean girl?

Hi mga sis! honestly kinakabahan ako sa tourist visa application ko kase wala akong job ngayon...I mean seawoman kase ako....I opted to stay for a long vacay because I am currently preparing for our Church wedding here on December.Ang plan namin ni hubby is punta ako sa kanila (mexico) this June but he told me to get a B2 visa too since mas mura yung ticket if Us ang daan. I'm using C1-d visa na for 7 years and pabalik balik at padaan daan na ko sa US dahil dun din lagi yung homeport ng Cruise ships na pinagtatrabahuhan ko and good records naman sya...My C1 just expired this month and I know mas madali sana kung C1 nalang din kunin ko pero since 4 hours away lang ang state ni hubby sa mExico and mas ok pag nagpunta ako dun makakapasyal din kmi sa US anytime namin maisipan B2 na inaply ko..... Ngayon wala akong job pero I have money on hands naman to support the trip....wala akong business at wala akong property in my name....ang plan ko sana mag provide ng mga wedding stuffs like wedding invitations, save the date cards etc. maybe suppliers contract just to prove them na I'm coming back. June ang application ko and December ang wedding so pag ni-count sya exactly six months....you think pwede proof yun?and ano pa bang pwede kong ipakita?hay...paranoid lang ako.....

Nope sis.. you will know if approve or denied after ng interview mo mismo sa consul...the consul will tell you wether denied or not.. special case lang yung nangyari sa friend ni sis foxymom..

i just had an interview appointment onlin, there's still available on the month of May kala ko June pa. 3rd week of May ako naka sched and got the 830am slot.

foxymom: i got the call sa embassy sa VRP application ko and they said i need to go back to the embassy since the consul wants to interview me may i ask if your friend was able to schedule her return to the embassy agad? or do we have to look for vacant schedule just like regular appointments? babayad ba tayo again for our reappearance? thank you sis ha....kinakabahan and super sad ako....they said may instruction sila sa passport ko but havent receive it yet

^ Sorry to hear this, sis irische. But don't worry too much. Maybe they just need to clarify a few things.

I have a colleague naman, she's a nurse. But as of the moment, volunteer post pa lang sya sa area namin (Soon to be a staff pa lang). For VRP din sya. She's 23 years old. Here's what happened daw sa interview:

Consul: Anong trabaho mo ngayon?
Friend: Volunteer nurse po.

Consul: Wala kang sweldo?
Friend: Wala po.

Consul: Allowance?
Friend: Wala din po eh.

Consul: We'll call you within 2 days if there's a problem. Otherwise, you'll get your visa within the next 3-4(?) days.

Eh di ayun, feeling nya madedeny pa din sya kasi nga puro tungkol sa nursing career nya yung tinanong. Tapos wala pa syang pera na sarili nya kasi bata pa sya and volunteer lang. After 3 days, she got her passport na with 10 years multiple entry. Lucky noh?

^ I think they'll give you your visa pa din. Kasi they should've told you on the phone na lang na denied ka and you'll just get your passport back, diba? Why would they want you to go back to the embassy to have a re-interview and still be denied? I don't think they're that mean.  Let's hope for the best.

maika14: I hope so sis na thats the case...At this point I dont know what to think much more do kasi i still havent receive my passport and further instructions and not from manila pa so have to pay for another airline ticket...pray for me nalang din sis and thank you sa booat of confidence and kind words i needed it...

cerenity_18: I think ok lang yun...they would ask you naman again for your complete name sa embassy.  Para sigurado just print the confirmation letter from the DS160 and the appointment confirmation and bring the receipt from BPI.

sorry i just saw this. i will ask my friend. i think she did not have to pay anything additional. i think you will call a number to schedule your interview. don't be too worried. if you have not violated your previous stays/ visa's im sure you will get a new one
