^ako dati ang gusto ko lang church wedding pero walang ibang tao kundi family and witnesses. Sila sila na din for the candles,cord and veil. Pwede naman daw yun kasi may ganung package yung isang church na ininquiran namin dati. Tapoa reception pwedeng sa buffet ng hotel or restaurant na lang. Yung dress hindi kelangan na gown talaga, pwedeng fab na white dress na lang either rtw or gawa ng suking mananahi. It just so happened na unico hijo si h2b tapos ako panganay din so gustuhin man namin ng simple, hindi papayag both sides kahit kami naman sasagot. In a way hjndi pa rin naman magarbo yung sa amin. Research din lang ang katapat para makamura at makahanap ng good deals. Nagkaron din kami ng agreement kung [textspeak!] ano dapat ang iprioritize in terma of budget. Kaya yan sis. Depende lang sa dami talaga ng guests mo. Basa ka lang dito sa gt pati sa ibang forums, madami ka mapupulot na tips.

Ako din practical bride. Ang mahal lang talaga magpakasal sa ngayon kcasi before ang budget namin for the wedding is 100k for 100 guest but since dumami yung guest edi lumaki din yung expenses kaya super tipid talaga. Pero i think for 100 guests enough naman yung 100k kung meron kang mga DIY stuffs. Besides hindi na ko naghire ng wedding coordinator kasi yun naman ang trabaho ko. Yun lang kung di ka maghihire ng wedding coordinator dapat 1 year palang before the wedding magstart ka ng magprepare para meron kang ideas kung saan ba makakamura or makakatipid. Saka depende sa bride kung pano nya din idefine ang word na practical diba?

ano  ba definition ng practical? we have a budget, and so far, hinde pa naman kame lumalagpas.

tama naman din na ang expensive magpa kasal these days. pero I already set my mind na I will not make tipid sa photos & videos. I know it's nice to be practical, yung hinde mauubos yung budget mo sa kasal. Once ka lang ikakasal kaya it's also nice to have a list of something that you'll splurge on and others naman na afford mo to cheap on. for instance, we did not cheap on photos & videos. sa flowers din, yung pinaka cheap na lang yung pinili namen.

so I guess on how to be practical, make a list of services you're willing to spend money on talaga and the other na pwede naman na yung hinde ganun kamahal.

sis i think practical means alam mo as a bride kung ano ang priority at hindi dapat macompromise ang quality sa hindi.

Hello ladies, since my h2b and I are going to pay for everything in the wedding, I wanted to be as practical as possible.

In example, gusto ko talaga ng sobrang gandang wedding gown na mahaba ang train at veil but to have it customized for me would cost me around 60-100k eh one day use lang naman so I opted for a rental wedding gown that would look really good in pictures.

Right now, h2b and I are discussing of the possibilty to remove the Strings from our wedding suppliers. I think pwede ng magplay na lang ng songs sa Church and Reception Venue since hindi na din naman sila mapapansin talaga. We were thinking additional heads din sila for crew meals, etc.

Any inputs about using mp3 files na lang instead of Strings for our music, sisses?

^ hi sis we are not going to use strings also sa wedding namin kasi dagdag pa yun sa corkage fees and # pax na ipapakain mo. Just make sure yung sound system na gagamitin na lang is maganda at hindi masakit sa tenga para kahit mp3 lang ang gamitin masarap parin pakinggan . I use Spotify app to browse wedding songs type mo lang sa search wedding and different playlist will popup

Kami rin sis! Buti wala pa kami nabayad sa band namin. We cancelled our booking kasi magiging masikip na sa venue. Confident naman kausap yung emcee namin na di magiging boring ang program kahit walang band during dinner

Sis mikky21, I have booked na in Chungdam Wedding Bridal (you can check their FB page), magrent lang ako ng gown from them. From what I've tried from their Collection, ang hahaba ng train! And very grand looking   Saka hindi ko na poproblemahin other wedding accessories (tiara/gloves, bolero, earrings, necklace and shoes) dahil kasama na sa rental. You can schedule an appointment with them para makapagfit ka ng different gowns. They also have RTWs hindi lang ako sure kung magkano ang range.

Hi sis stylus, napag-usapan nga namin ni h2b about dun pero nag-iisip ako if I can have the strings kahit sa ceremony lang, pero pwede na din siguro wala talaga.

Hello sissies!
I inquired thru FB messenger sa Chungdam Bridal. You have to be specific kung alin sa gowns nila ang gusto mo iinquire ang rental rate. So far sa 2 na nagustuhan ko, 13k and 14k ang binigay nilang rental rate including veil. They also have the year end promo. Php2,000 lang accessories including tiara, hair band and pin (choose 2 pieces), wedding gloves, shoes with corsage, sash belt, matching bolero, earring and necklace set plus mannequin. Looks good!

Hi sis lueeeesa and mikky21, nasa 12-18k ang range ng rental nila as far as I know. Pero I think if I will have these gowns made for me I would be spending a minimum of 50k. I suggest you book an appointment with them. Ms. Sae Ra Kim is very accommodating and she will give her inputs on what will look good on you.

 
Hi sis Romans828, may additional na pala sa accessories. I was one of their first customers kasi and I booked them before October ended kaya free accessories rental na Set na an appointment with her, you'd love fitting gowns!

^welcome to GT sis vee_gee  when is your wedding ba? Ask ka lang dito sa GT. Will answer and help you naman basta kaya namin. I joined GT last october and since then i was hooked up. Madami kang matututunan dito.

And to answer your question, as what ive read several times dito sa GT,  unahin ang date, then church, venue, # of pax.

Share lang. Im a 2016 bride no specific details of the above mentioned yet. Haha. Waiting for the pamamanhikan pa.

^im thinking about dec 2016 wedding din. Initially we were planning to have a sept wedding pero may nangyari na hindi na pwede yung buwan na yun for the wedding. Kakainip maghintay noh? Mamaya magplano kami ng magplano pero may ibang mas magandang suggestion ang parents e di back to scratch kami. Kaya ayun waiting pa. scout scout lang muna.

Welcome to GT sis vee_gee, a year of wedding preps is okay na din, I've seen a friend prepare hers for only 6-7 months.

Once you've set the date, I suggest book the major suppliers first: Church, Reception Venue, Caterer, P/V and OTD Coodinator. These are the fastest ones to be booked so I really suggest you book them first to avoid heartaches of getting a "No" from your preferred suppliers.
