last saturday, while shopping for my boudoir props sa market market, napadaan kami ng mom ko sa department store, yun kids section. may nakita kaming pretty gowns for flowers girls. if i remember it right, the brand is iha. ang cu-cute. price range is 1,000 - 1,200 regardless of the size. i'd still check rosy's for rtw gowns for my flower girls and bearers but will definitely make iha an option our girls

sa SM dept store sa may SM Sucat, ang daming dresses ng mga pambata na pwedeng gamitin for FG. super cute talaga! parang nasa 600 to 800 lang din ang prices.

I too am a 2013 Bride-Feb to be exact...
We have been married civilly last 2008 and we would like to solemnize our Marriage. Here's my predicament: We are both Catholics--but have not practiced since College (30-31 age namin).  We really don't want to get married in a Catholic Church due to the fact that somehow we have veered away from the Religion. What kind of ceremony can we consider/ Christian wedding? Protestant?
Pls help?

^hmmm, you should become more active in a certain church before they agree to marry you. in fact, mas matagal pa ang pre-cana ng Christian church---about 2 months--to make sure you imbibe their teachings.

The best thing to do is look for a Church now that suits your faith. Become a member, and then ask the minister/ pastor/ priest for  pre-marriage seminars before they marry you.

We have a Pastor Relative and he is Prostestant. Anyone aware if we could be wed by him?

Hi sis missyli - may mga Pastor naman na pumapayag mag-kasal kahit hinde member ng church nila. Yung Pastor namen nirecommend lang ng friend ni h2b. Ang kelangan lang daw pag-mag-aapply ng Marriage License at least isa sa inyo magdeclare na Christian kase baka hinde daw i-honor sa city hall pag pareho kayo catholic tapos christian magkasal sa inyo.

for couples na kasal na ng civil, it's still the same requirements for chuch weddings. except instead of marriage license e marriage contract ang hihingin nila.

IMO, since you're both not active in your religion, you may just get a solemnizing officer instead. No need to switch religions since it might just be an additional hassle for both of you.. (kasi baka irequire na maging christian muna kayo or protestant before kayo payagan na makasal sa kanila. not sure, though..)

in our case, we'll also have a garden ceremony because we got frustrated of the church restrictions. ang daming bawal. what we'll do is to have a solemnizing officer officiate the ceremony.. 


buti nalang na up ulet itong thread na to.. na update ko yung post ko sa taas. mali kasi. hehe!

dun din namin plano bumili for kids entou. marami daw nakita si wc na pedeng isuot nila. buti na lang, whew. 

mga sis yung accessories ng bride (earrings at necklace), san makakabili ng mura kung walang magpahiram lols. okay lang naman di totoo basta maganda lang heheh. one day lang naman isusuot e. tia!

sis sa 168 madami ako nakita na necklaces actually set na yun.para ngang totoo kumikintab.may nabili ako banda samin qc area 250psos set na so malamang mas mura sa 168 o divi.

Nga pala, may question ako at sorry if natanong na to. Kelan pala pwedeng  magpasukat para sa gown ko, suit ng groom at entou? Kasi sa May 4, 2013 pa wedding namin Balak kong October-November. Tama lang yun mga sis?

A year before the wedding is ok na sis. Pero get a designer na as soon as you can. After the contract signing, schedule 2-3 fittings para sure na sakto yung mga sukat and maganda bagsak ng gown.

^ thanks sa response sis, naghahanap pa lang ako ng mananahi. di na kaya ng budget pag designer pa. hehe.

iniisip ko si Aling Magda kahit na may mga negative reviews dahil di sya marunong sa time management, aagahan ko na lang ng 1-2weeks yung date na sasabihin ko sa kanya. hehe.

tboupt27 - sis ako yung earrings na ginamit ko binili ko nalang sa dept store. yung madaming bato. nasa nagsusuot naman yun. hehe. earrings lang ang gamit ko yung kasal namin.

ako rin hindi mahilig sa mga bling bling.. I bought my earrings for my wedding sa 168.. P70 lang yata.. isang araw ko lang naman gagamitin.. hehe
