I found a soulmate through a friend. We had a lot of similar interests, we think much too similarly and our minds speak without needing to say a word. Sure we have differences too, but we seem to be completely in-sync and complement each other differences no matter what. Even if it was friendship, we find it difficult to be away from each other not knowing what is happening to each other.

Too bad he's married with kids already. I had to walk away before our close friendship takes on to the next level and intimacy throws away all the logic out of the window. Believe me, it hurts to be walking away when I found such a guy that is different from the others. The feeling of finding that one soulmate was very much unlike any other guy that I have fallen deeply in love with. I'm even amazed that this happened on just pure friendship.

Better luck next life - if our souls meet again. Or in this life, if time and destiny permits us to be together. For now we have to run our lives on separate ways.

Yes. Ako yung taong masawain. Ako lagi ang nakikipag break sa past relationships ko kasi I always fell out of love. Pero sa hubby ko, siya yung taong parang di ko makita sarili ko na di ko kasama habang nag eexist ako. Parang kahit mag move on ako and makahanap ng someone new, siya pa din ang best for me. Before we got married, we have been together for 8.7 years already and nothings changed. We never broke up. Alam nya mood ko, alam ko mood nya. Di ko na kelangan sabihin sakanya kasi alam na nya at ganun din ako sa kanya. Di lang asawa ang role namen sa isat-sa - kapatid, bestfriend, teacher, etc. Feeling ko pag nakahanap ka ng tao na di lang kulong sa isang role ang relationship nyo, doon nyo lang masasabi na soulmates kayo.

2006, nameet ko si hubby. naging bestfriends kame. in fact lahat ng kalokohan nya alam ko.. (even sa chicks).. di namin expected na magiging kame rin pala sa huli..

now with my childhood dream:

lahat nagkatotoo. I married a chinese guy, graduate from ateneo and now we have a house in valle. hindi ko sya hinanap. for some reason, nakilala ko sya through car forum. and we just hit off as friends. then become lovers then now husband and wife..

I don't really believe in soulmates....

But for arguement's sake, I'll answer the question. Per wikipedia definition, my husband is not my soulmate. And if soulmates really exist, I don't mind if he's still out there because I can't be happier and more content with the man I married. I'd much rather have my life-mate than a soulmate

How would you define soulmate? If we're talking about Wikipedia's definition. I'd say hindi rin.

But I can't think of anyone else i'd be married to if not my husband. Siguro kung hindi sya, hindi ako nag-asawa. Same with him. We just had this conversation last week, niloko ko sya, sabi ko, ang swerte nya kasi ako ang asawa nya, i take care of almost "everything" even if i'm also working. Kung iba siguro asawa nya, ang sakit ng ulo nya kasi he would need to provide everything and baka sakit pa sa ulo kind of Misis, yung selosa, too clingy, nagger, asa - walang dulot kind. 

Sabi nya, kung hindi rin ako, hindi rin sya nag-asawa. (so dapat matuwa ako?) lol - kulitan lang naman namin 'to. hahaha.

I didnt marry my soulmate as well. hehe But I think already found him. Since I was a teenager kasi, I'd been dreaming of this guy. Actually upto now, there are still times na napapanaginipan ko siya. Meron akong friend na nakilala ko lang sa chat pero nag meet na kami. I've know him when I was in HS. Muntik narin maging kami pero hindi ko alam bakit hindi ko siya sinagot. =( But we are still good friends upto now. I really think na siya yung soulmate ko.
