sis, i was at DBR2 march 7-9, hindi naman salty yung faucet water but im not sure if safe for drinking,  may baon naman kameng bottled water.

sis thanks sa info, medyo iniisip ko lang kasi i've read sa previous threads na mahirap daw ipampaligo and pang-toothbrush..hehe. =D
pagpilian ko itong DBR2 - WaG - and from mama squeak Greenhouse/Treehouse

^mas gusto ko sa dumaluan kasi the beach is better and less crowded. though relatively madami na rin nagpupunta dun ngayon compared to before. but still less crowded than alona imo. sabi nga, alona is like a mini boracay.

i think ok na yung 3 days kung countryside tour and beach lang naman habol mo.
you can do the tour sa day 2 tapos the rest beach na. baka mahirapan ka din kung sobrang daming activities tapos kasama mo 2yr old baby mo.

you can also backread sa mga it ng ibang sis here para may idea ka din on what other touristy bohol stuff to do. i rarely do the touristy activities kasi when i'm there eh. beach lang. hehe.

plus you can get ideas din on where's a good place to stay. sa dumaluan, there are only a few options: dbr1, dbr2, bbc, and wag.
sa alona. madami.
meron din sa ibang parts ng panglao pero either di beach front, di masayadong maganda yung beach, malayo na masyado, or mahal masyado.

sis pixiedust, kung iinclude kaya namin ang cebu. i mean bago kami punta ng bohol, sa cebu muna kahit 2 days lang. sa tingin mo ba mahahaggard si baby? city tour lang din habol ko sa cebu tsaka unting food trip. 3 lang kasi kami ni hubby at baby na magtravel.

Salamat sa thread na ito,  was able to contact the right persons for our tour. My husband, 8 yr old son and I will be there next Monday up to Wednesday. We were able to reserve car rental for countryside and sea/island tour with Kuya Tatsky and booked a room at Whites and Greens. Too bad, mga big rooms na lang available sa Dumaluan, which are pricey na. All in all, nasa 11k xpense namin for the accommodation and tour. Syempre, excluded pa yung shopping expenses, plus food trip.

Excited na talaga kami especially si baby na first time sumakay ng airplane. Nakakatawa pa kasi I'm pregnant now and sabi niya, kawawa naman si baby, makakasakay daw ng plane pero di niya makikita. Paglaki daw, ituturo niya sa mga pictures na nasa tyan ko naman daw siya. Hehe, ang kulit!

Hi sis! 2 nights kame dun, 1st night - deluxe, worth P2600 yung room, booked thru Agoda.  2nd night- superior deluxe, worth P2150, booked through Ate Kathy (wife of Kuya Tatsky). 
One week before our our trip ako nagplan ng trip namin kaya fully booked na mga rooms nila noon accdg tp ate kathy.  Pag 2 nights sa agoda ako nagcheck ng rooms sa dbr2 wala na available na deluxe or superior deluxe pero pag 1 night lang lumalabas yung deluxe na available pa kaya binook ko agad.  Tapos kinontact ko si ate kathy to make a reservation for us for the next night, luckily meron naman pag one night lang and shempre yung cheaper kinuha ko which is the superior deluxe.  Hassle lang kase kailangan namin lumipat sa ibang room the next day eh, problem is we're out for the countryside tour the whole day.   Sabi ng frontdesk, pack na lang namin things namin then sila na maglilipat. Sabi ko kung pwede kami na lang kase shempre yung ibang damit basa dahil nagswim na kame nung gabe. Ayaw nila pumayag.  Ayun pinack namin kahit medyo basa, tapos pagdating namin hindi rin naman pala nila nalipat.  Hay...
Anyway, mas gusto ko location nung superior deluxe kesa sa deluxe kase mas malapit.  Yung deluxe mas maayos yung toilet and fixtures sa toilet plus may bathtub pa.  Pero mas malambot yung bed namin sa superior deluxe. For me, ok na yung superior deluxe kase ilang hours lang naman kame sa room, most of the time we were out for the tour or out in the resto or beach of dumaluan and bbc.

@ thebratinella : yes sis, hinde na siguro kami mag mag aso falls baka ma stress mga bata.


Finally, we're booked na sa WAG nakaka stress pala mag asikaso ng tour we got WAG's family cottage, worth P3,200/night , family cottages have two (2) separate rooms, toilet and bath, sala and porch. Kids below ten (10) years old are free of accommodations charge (breakfast not included), but may optionally avail additional breakfast for Php 150 per head. The resort restaurant offers coffee and purified water free of charge 24/7. Excited na ko

Problem ko na lang kung sino sa day tour namin for van, yung mga nakakausap ko kasi puro package offer nila and medyo pricey, gusto ko sana DIY na lang sa mga entrance.

hi sisses ask ko sana if di ba masyadong matagal kung 4days 3 nights kami sa bohol? madami bang activities na pwedeng gawin or more on swimming na lang siguro? medyo malayo pa naman ang travel date

^ sis ok na, nakausap ko na cia kaya lang booked na cia sa may 13, pero sa kanya parin ako kumuha, offer nya ibang driver na trusted daw nya so ok na din.. sea tour na lang sis! haha

^that's great, sis. ibang driver din provided ni kuya tatsky sa airport transfer ng family ko pero mabait naman. sa countryside tour siya na yung nandun.

inquire ka din sa kanya ng rate ng sea tour.

@thebratinella: sis free na kasi ang pag pick up sa amin ng WAG kaya no need na, sa countryside tour ko na lang kinuha si kuya tatsky. About sa sea tour naman yung kay sis gracey na lang siguro kunin ko, P1300 daw sa seatour nila. Try ko din ask kuya tatsky.

@nicole: sis, kami 4 days and 3 nights mukhang tama lang kasi kapag 3 days parang bitin, pero depende din siguro sa pupuntahan nyo at sa schedule ng ETA & pabalik.

^what i meant by car rental is the countryside tour na hindi package. kayo na lang magbabayad ng entrance fees. sorry. confusing.

We stayed at DBR2 for 4 days and 3 nights. We just booked the standard aircon room for Php 1300/night. I just chose the cheapest room because we will be availing the tours for 2 days (Country Side and Panglao Tour). Mas mahaba pa ang pagstay namin sa labas kesa sa room so ayun nagtipid ako. Yun nga lang no TV and no hot water sa room. The room was just ok, parang luma na yung walls because it's made of wood pero malakas naman ang aircon. Yung CR was just like a typical common CR. We had lunch at their restaurant and the food was just so, so. Nainis lang ako sa inorder namin Mojos for my daughter, ang gara ng lasa, parang hindi siya made out of potatoes. Kaya ayun never na kami ulit kumain dun. Naglalakad na lang kami papuntang DBR1 para makakain sa DBR Grill na medyo mura ang food.We super enjoyed our tour c/o Kuya Tatsky, super bait at super humble pa.

Ma recommend niyo na resort/hotel sa panglao? 1st timer po kami lahat. Wala po kasi time mgbackread kasi yung parents ko paalis na this
Coming sunday. Gusto nila makapagpa book na ako.

Madali lang kumuha ng plane tickets online. Mas cheaper pa din pala ang zestair kesa cebupac. Kaso nahihirapan ako sa resort/hotel. San po ba pwede magpabook ng hotel rooms online?

Ang priority sa bohol trip syempre yung maganda ang pool may kasama kasi kami 2 infant both less than 24 months kaya mas prefer namin na mas maganda ang pool kesa ang beach mismo. And also yung maganda din ang rooms.

^ if you have the budget, try Bohol Beach Club. they have pool and good beach front. if you're ok with standard "so-so" kind of hotel, try Dumaluan 2.
