Bohol Thread 18

3 Days 2 Nights kami sa Bohol last January. Here's what we did. We took PAL's promo fair. 12k pesos, 3 adults and 1 child. Hindi na kasi libre ang son ko. He's 3yrs old.

Day 1
- Arrived Bohol at 10:10am
- Checked in at Bluewater Panglao Beach Resort (got a good deal at dealgrocer)
- Went to Alona Beach Resort to have lunch. This is a resort beside Blewater.
- Back to Bluewater and enjoyed the pool, the resort and the playground for my son
- Had dinner at Bluewater

Day 2 - Hired a highly recommended driver who owns a van
- Chocolate Hills
- Tarsier
- Bohol Bee Farm
- Had lunch at Loboc River
- Blood compact
- Baclayon Church
- Man-made forest
- Aproniana Souvenir Shop

Day 3
- Dolphin Watching (6am)
- Balicasag and Virgin Island Hopping
- Snorkeling
- Left for Manila

I sent an email to Lost Horizon Resort Annex's email address to inquire about room rates for June. Mukhang okay din Panglao Regents.

edited: Lost Horizon replied to my email. Same rates lang with those published in the site. We're considering this kasi yung room with ac, mini ref, tv and wi-fi.

^thanks, sis! ang hirap magdecide when it comes to the accommodation. i really want to stay at dumaluan kasi ganda ng shore. todo backread ako dito and basa ng blogs for 2 consecutive days. i'm convincing my brother and husband na dun na lang sa dumaluan 2 even if nasa top ng choices ang lost horizon last time. i also sent an email to bohol divers. mabilis naman magreply. hindi lang indicated yung fan room sa email.

i would also like to ask kung where did you have lunch during the island hopping tour??

What is your concern in deciding on your accommodation?  Beach, nice room, price, or activities in the hotel? In our stay in bohol, we rarely stayed inside the room so good decision sa amin yung dbr2 kase di naman ganun kaganda yung room nila if icocompare sa hotel namin sa Waterfront cebu.  We stayed in their beautiful beach after the tours and in the morning before check out, swimming pa rin sa beach and pool. Halos same naman ang price ng lost horizon and dbr2, so mamimili ka na lang which beach u like.  Yung room ng dbr2 hindi tlaga ganun kaganda , typical resort naman ganun like the ones in anilao.  Sa alona side sa loat horizon daw maraming bangka and mejo malayo pa rooms sa beach kaya para sa amin either bbc, dumaluan, or amarela talaga irerecommend namin sa mga friends or relatives don. Paradise yung beach na yun.

so excited na.. kabu-book ko lang sa bohol trip namin on Dec! 11pax kami.. 9adults and 2 kids.. got the RT tickets from airphil express for only Php18,370.. promo nila is 388 yung one way.. pero per pax is Php1670 yung RT.. complete family (mom, dad, ate, kuya, SIL, bunso, 2 pamangkins, me and hubby and MIL) kami pupunta!

skylar-ddm: hi, sis! i'm after the nice beach talaga. my husband is looking for a room with cable tv while yung brother ko gusto may wi-fi. i convinced them na sa dbr2 na lang. walang bawian ng decision.  we're planning to go to PINR too for the daytour.

^di nman kase maganda yung room nya. Medyo luma na pati fixtures ng toilet. Kaya nga 2 star lang ata sha. Pero in fairness, malinis naman yung room and friendly naman mga staff.

thanks, sis. i saw photos nga sa blogs. dapat sa alona beach kami maghahanap ng place to stay. i was actually eyeing lost horizon because of their free wi-fi and lcd tv BUT ang ganda ng shoreline ng dumaluan.  okay lang naman if medyo luma na yung room as long as it's decent, clean and safe to stay in. saka hindi super kadiri yung bathroom.  we'll stay there for 4 days so i really want to enjoy. kahit nga sa june pa yun i'm already preparing summer clothes.

hala nawala yun post ko. kaya pala di lumalabas tong thread na to sa updated topics ko. anyway...2 months to go before my bohol trip! excited na ko. tagal na ko di nakakapag summer sa bohol.

^^^baka isa ako dun sa mga bad reviews na nabasa mo since i have bad blood with them. haha. nashare ko na yun sa mga past threads dito. 2010 pa ata yun. can't remember na. pero never na ko nagstay dun ulit. tapos yung mga tito and tita ko, ayaw nilang i-"spread the word" ko yung bad reviews ko since sort of family friend namin mga dumaluans at regular patrons talaga kami dun. until last year may negative experience yung tita ko dun. so ayun, ayaw na rin nila dun.

but i'm not discouraging you from staying there. in fact, if my friends ask me kung ok dun, i'd say ok naman. madami na rin sisses here who stayed there and they had a good experience naman. plus hindi ka naman siguro mmagsstay sa room the whole time malamang. enjoy the beach! i personally enjoy that side of panglao over alona.

sa balicasag mismo, may mini-dampa dun. you choose your raw seafood, tapos sila magluluto.

pag weekdays yata yung 350 na rate, pag weekends P500.
hindi buffet yung inclusion, pero around P350 yata yung consumable. lower your expectations kasi di masarap yung food. hehe

yes you may use the pool and swim sa beach. sa eskaya yung hindi pwede lahat! haha

Mga sis, may mairerecommend ba kayong place where we can stay.. 9adults and 2kids.. preferred namin yung pension house or house for rent.. at kung puwede pa-pm naman number ni kuya tatsky.. TIA!

just got back from bohol last night.. nag 3days 2nights kami and here's our itinerary. By the way, I booked all our tours with Kuya Naldix and I highly recommend him for hassle-free Countryside and Sea tour. Wala pang time limit! Super nag enjoy talaga kami.. =)

Day 1:
arrived at Tagbilaran airport
checked in at Dumaluan 2 (I highly recommend this resort)
Beach bumming at BBC (grabe super ganda sa shoreline ng BBC.. ganda ng beach!)

Day 2:
Countryside tour
-Tarsier Conservation Center
-Butterfly Sanctuary
-Chocolate Hills
-Shiphaus
-Manmade Forest
-Python
-Lunch at Loboc River
-Hanging Bridge
-Blood Compact
-Hinagdanan Cave
-Bohol Bee Farm
7PM na kami natapos dahil super nag enjoy kami sa mga sites na ito.. =)

Day 3:
Sea Tour
-Dolphin watching
-Snorkeling at Balicasag (super naenjoy ko din to)
-Virgin Island

All in all, I super enjoyed Bohol mose especially BBC.. =) Next time, we'll try Danao's adventure!

bohol land tour lang nakuha ko sa kanila, don't know if they have island tour

we were at bohol last weekend. super enjoy. we stayed at panglao regents. sobrang sulit ang swimming  pool nila sa amin. dun na lang kami nag swim ng nagswim day and night.haha! d n kami nagswim sa beach except sa virgin island kung san kami inabutan ng malakas na ulan nung sunday. medyo disappointed kami sa alona, malumot kasi tsaka dami nakadaong na boat. next time we'll try to stay at dumaluan or bbc.
