I am planning a school party (since the birthday of my little boys falls on a school day) and a play date/house party with 10-12 kids.

Sa school, pizza party with cupcakes for dessert.

So far, I am done with the conceptualization of the activities for the play date and the loot bags.  I ordered the birthday cake na rin.  I will order invites and loot bag tags from Invitation House.  May ready design na kasi sila for the party theme (dinosaurs).

Next- sourcing of prizes for the games and loot bag fillers plus planning the menu for the house party.

Iniisip ko pa if I'm going to get a photographer to cover the play date.

Happy and excited ako because this play date party was inspired by various blogs of DIY parties sa US.  Gusto ko yung house party talaga na no-frills pero fun.

Mas maganda talaga kapag DIY ang parties... ako 3mos. ahead ng b-date i start preparing for menus,themes,games etc. ^^ Since ang dami ko pamangkin at puro kids pa!hahaha..
tsaka mas gusto ng kids kapag mas maraming props. ^^ pero lagi sa garden lang ang venue..minsan house...na-appreciate naman nila..

Will the guests feel offended if I ask them to not bring their yayas? Lalo na kung aattend naman sila pareho ni partner tapos isa o dalawa lang naman yung anak? Parang I want to say kasi na I want the party as a venue for them to bond with their kids.

may nag reply na ba dito mars? uhhhmm... medyo di ito easy kasi may parents na medyo di ganun ka game mag bantay bata 163 pag attend ng party so they want to bring along the yaya pra may taga bantay and para din makapag enjoy sila.

meron din namang guests na sensitive. they would ask kung okay lang bring yaya esp kung may RSVP ka, or importante ang headcount.

pero generally expect that yaya/s e makikijoin din ng typar talaga.

sisses, saan ako makakahanap ng cute pencils, polka dots or stripe designs, or bright colors like fucshia, purple, etc? also ballpens na cute designs - no need for character designs? also yung mga ballpen na may feather sa top? gagawin kong part ng giveaways sana namin. i need a lot kaya sana yung naka-wholesale price. pls help!

sis if may NOVO diyan sa lugar niyo or UNO madami dun sis..i think konting differences lang sa divi atleast nakasave ka pamasahe ^_^

I am thinking of holding the merienda cena at a quaint, a la Mom & Tina's, coffee shop in our village.  Our village library happens to be located beside the coffee shop.  Sana payagan akong mag-hold ng storytelling session for 10-12 kids at the village library kasi bagay na bagay sa activity ang venue.

This is my alternative to hosting a play date at home.

Pinasukatan ko na last wednesday ang daughter ko para sa kanyang dress

Isip ko pa if mag-tarp kasi ayaw ko talaga pero ang ganda ng ginawa ni sis pinkpotato for my kid

Ako din nasa planning stage na for my youngest 1st bday sa july 8. I want it to be simple lang.. siguro nasawa na rin ako ng kakaparty, naibuhos ko na lahat ng kaartehan ko sa older kids ko.. next year din kasi my 2nd child will turn 7 kaya party na naman.

sa venue, pinag-iisipan ko pa kung sa max's contis or private pool.

Anyone here tried contis or crisostomo? any feedback sisses.. TIA

^ Conti's Greenbelt has function rooms at the mezzanine.  We had our office Christmas party there.

I have tried Crisostomo at Resorts World Manila.  Parang masikip doon magpa-party.  Their Eastwood branch is smaller.

^  I will try the food muna doon sa cafe.  Based on their Facebook page, mukhang okay.  Maganda rin ang feedback ng neighbors namin sa food nila.

May BTIC din pala katabi ng library!  Perfect talaga.   Will ask nga our association president, sana pumayag.
