Mga sis, i alreagy started raising funds for the "projectkulay". The goal is to help the kids with school supplies for this coming school year. The target is the day care center na nasa Ulingan tondo.will give them colors, books, notepads, pencils. And some food para sa 50kids. If may sobra pa sa fund, will move on to the next day care center in cavite naman.

May alam ba kayong organization which caters to the elderly? lalo na yung mga napabayaan. Halos kasi lahat caters to children.

I only give financial donations sa UNICEF and World Vision.  I want sana to be more active - I admire those people who donate their time to help the less fortunate.

Based on my experience ha re: elderly

We organized an outreach program sa home for the aged, we gave them toiletries and konting salo salo. What i witnessed that time is so heartbreaking. Kahit meron na silang own toiletries, nangunguha sila sa iba, me naglalaba sa cr, nakatingin sa malayo. May nagkkwento, may nanghuhula.. I dont want to say awa eh i just dont know the right word. Then i told myself, might as well help kids.

Is there an outreach program here na hindi ako magbibigay ng stuff but service? like building a home or teaching or something kase wala na ko tiwala sa mga nagcocollect ng money or things para idonate and feeling ko mas ok if you help improve someone's life by "teaching them how to fish instead of giving them fish".

I also like that idea, na to render service. Mag backread ako dito baka may namention na for cancer survivors or patients kasi my mom might be able to help with counseling at sasama din ako to assist since she survived the big "C" for 10 years na and she's a very positive person even before that.

^We had our practicum in Tahan-tahanan, East Avenue MC and the patients there are cancer patients. They are open for volunteers. Their head doctor is very veeery kind.

I would like to thank you gt sisses na naghelp po sa projectkulay ng sunday sa tondo! Maraming salamat po sa dinonate ninyo na table for teachers and school supplies nila and the workbooks po for kids.

Next project po ng projectkulay ay sa aeta community naman po.

hi mga sis! we have a 3 month old son and we'd like to donate clothes and baby stuff that he has outgrown. may alam po ba kayong orphanage or foundation that caters to newborns? we have a lot of mittens, booties and tiesides. thanks!
