@alkris Sis mahirap sagutin kung magkano ang pocket money . Kasi it all depends sa kung ano ang mga pupuntahan nyo, saan kayo kakain or kung ano ang mga pamimilhin nyo. The best way to compute is to list all your target places na ivivisit tapos check how much ang entrance fee (asa site naman yan madalas). Add up yung transpo (check explorehk.com may computation ng fare from one point to another). Sa food kung madalas sa fastfood naman kayo kakain I think php150/meal/pax ok na . Sa shopping, yan ang pinakamahirap sagutin so asa sa iyo na yan. Hope this helps. Enjoy!

4D3N din kami next week.  Hirap nga gawin yun itinerary kasi dami namin gusto puntahan at gawin pero we just compromise. kasi lalo di mag-e-enjoy kung pilitin namin puntahan lahat tapos bitin sa oras per attraction. Sayang din pera pag ganun. Tsaka may kasama kami senior (my mom) and a 5 year old kid (my son) kaya kelangan maluwag ang oras.  Ang pupuntahan lang namin is DL, OP, Star Ferry, Peak and Nanlian Garden. 8pm onwards shopping na.  We also chose a hotel in Mongkok para free na kami ng sister ko to roam around at night while my mom and son rest in the hotel. 

Need to prioritize din your reason to go to HK.  Is it to see the attractions? Shopping? or Eating?  Hirap kasi ipagsabay.  Dati meron pa ako list ng resto na gusto ko i-try pero sa huli I scrapped everything kasi out of the way.  My priority is to see the attractions as it's my son's first time to travel.  My sis naman gusto shopping kaya 8pm to sawa every night.  Sa Mongkok malls lang ang shopping.  They say the Ladies' Market near our hotel is a tourist trap kaya we don't plan to go there. 

I would like to thank all the people here who helped me plan our HK trip.  Dami ko natutunan dito.  Pati sa PEX. Thanks.  Sana lang di umulan para masunod ang IT na ginawa ko.

The forecast on May 8 (our first day) is sunny.  That's hopeful of the days to come.   Mineral water ang katapat nyan.

makasali lang po.I totally agree. 4D/3N sobrang bitin yan. Specially kung isisingit mo pa ang pagpunta sa Macau. Halos Disney Land, Ocean Adventure and City Tour lang kami plus 1 overnight in Macau. Pero there will always be a next time naman eh.

^sis, they're all around! My suki though is at the supermarket at the basement of Citygate outlet. Pag nakita na nya ako alam na nya magte-take home ako so she really wraps it up real well. I get mine for HKD150 (I think?) basta less than Php1000 if you convert it.

And yes, you can check it in or put it in your hand carry bag. But I prefer hand carry because there was one time long ago na-delay yung checked in bag ko tapos I had 2pcs of duck in there. Buti na lang it was winter that time so para lang naka-fridge yung bag ko.

Maybe you are referring to the roasted goose, not Peking Duck. The duck needs to be sliced and prepared by experienced people; they are rarely brought home except maybe if you are coming from Beijing. Then you need the wrapper, the sauce and the veggies to enjoy it.

The goose can be sliced before being packaged and can be heated and served as is. Roasted goose can be found almost anywhere in HK. It is hanged alongside roasted BBQ pork (asado), suckling pig and white chicken.

Hi sisses... share ko lang ang aming HK experience last week
But first of all, thank you sa lahat ng mga sisses natin dito for sharing theirs as well... laking tulong talaga! 

Day 1:

On sked naman ang flight ng PAL.  Between 10:00AM - 10:30AM kami dumating ng HKIA.  Dun na rin ako bumili ng Octopus Card namin, malapit sa Burger King.  From Airport, nag Bus A21 kami papuntang TST (Cosmic Guesthouse), bumaba kami on the 13th stop then naglakad na lang ng konti pabalik. 33HKD ang fare.

It was my first time na tumuloy sa isang guesthouse so, medyo surprised ako na ganun pala kaliit ang room    talagang pang-tulugan and CR lang   1 double bed and 1 single bed ang kinuha namin.  Ang pinto ng CR, made of glass.. though hindi naman see through pero kita ang silhoutte ng naliligo hehe..    kaya nilalagyan na lang namin ng towel ang pinto   Pero in fairness malinis ang room and CR.  May hot and cold shower, may bath gel and shampoo Mabait naman ang mga receptionists.  Both locals, isang medyo may edad na isang nasa 20's.

After naming magcheck in ng 1.30 - 2.00PM, naglunch muna kami sa malapit na local "carinderia".  Noodles and fried rice  .  naka HKD100 din kaming 3 which is pasok naman sa budget

After lunch, dumiretso na kami sa The Peak.  From TST MTR station, baba kami ng Central and from there, mga 20-30 minutes na lakaran to the Tram Terminal.  2 oldies kasi kasama ko kaya medyo mabagal maglakad plus pataas ang nilakaran namin.

Sa terminal na rin ako bumili ng ticket sa Madam Tussaud.  Originally, my plan was to buy the Tram + MT + Sky Terrace package kaya lang sila na mismo ang nagsabi na hindi advisable pumasok sa ST kasi foggy although open naman.  So, Tram and MT package na lang ang binili namin.

So picture picture lang kami sa loob ng MT and konting pasyal sa The Peak Galleria at ninamnam ang lamig ng area. 

After The Peak, sumaglit kami sa guesthouse then labas ulit to get some dinner.  Dun lang din sa area ng TST.  We tried another local food and hindi naman kami binigo sa laki ng serving.  Ang kanin nila, pang 2 tao hahahaha    pero hindi super duper sarap ang food.. pero ok na Forgot the name of the place e pero katapat sya ng iSquare mall sa street na parallel sa Nathan Road

After dinner, maaga kaming natulog para sa mas bonggang-bonggang lakaran on the following day

Side comments:

1. The weather was fine.  Hindi mainit, hindi maulan... yun nga lang sobrang foggy kaya almost zero visibility ang overlooking sa The Peak.

2. Free Wi-fi sa Cosmic Guesthouse.  Dun na rin kami bumili ng OP and Disney tickets at discounted prices

3.  May 2 towels na provided ang cosmic kaso yung isa may butas hahaha!!!! ginamit na rin namin hehe...

sis do you still remember the name of the stall sa basement sa Citygate?

"Taste" yung name Ng supermarket sa basement Ng citygate. It occupies most of the basement and that's where I usually go to buy some snacks or toiletries because of the proximity to the airport.
