Re kate spade, ok  lang, if you look sa kate spade online store, ganun naman rin yun design, PERO, the price is a bit steep. Mahal naman kasi talaga ang kate spade din. Feeling ko, better if sa US outlets ka mag buy  OR if maabutan mo mga online sample sales.

Sis vgie, if 1 person lang singkit mo baka lumusot ka. We stayed at Disney Hotel sa totoo lang kasya yon 6 people kaya lang baka mahuli ka at sa check-out baka macharge ka nila ng additional fees. Kasi that happen to us in Bangkok 2 lang sabi namin pero may singkit kami 1 person nacharge kami extra a check-out.

sis ok lang sneak in sa disney 2rooms kami lagi. minsan 11 minsan14. d naman kami nacharge. nakikita pa nga kami ng housekeeping. obvious pa kami kasi nung minsan kami lang pinoy

@ sis marienmarien and sis grace,.....nag wory lang yung friend ko baka daw masita sill ng mom nya isang family kasi yung sa disney hotel tapos  mahal pa bayaran ,pwede  kaya silang makapag swimming dun and kumain sa restaurant? actually I'm helping my friend and her relative sa Hong Kong trip nila... so nag extend na lang ng 1 night pa as golden crown. im waiting na lang sa revised reservation ask na ko ng discount kasi for 4 nights we gt 2 rooms family and couple room....@ sis cherdigan thanks for the advise last time na i went there grabe yung offer nila sa iPhone 4s converted to peso mga 27K lang that was Nov. kaya plan ko magpabili ng IPad 2 bumaba na rin ang price... where to buy gadget if not at TST? any store recommended? thanks for your inputs.

I agree. Hindi din ako super impressed with Citygate Outlet. I was there last week. Ang mga stores lang na may good deals- Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, and Coach. The rest, mahal pa din. 3 hours lang din kami nag-ikot. H&M pa din talaga ang shopping paradise for me for clothes. Just my 2 cents.

mga sis, im planning an HK trip this year. Hopefully by december, sabi nila it takes months of planning daw since DIY lang kami ni hubby. Anyone can share their expenses and itinerary? yung mga budget hotels near the pasyalan area. Ok na kami sa not so expensive hotels kasi since we will be out the whole day naman. Thanks in advance sisses!

Me, too. I'm not really impressed with Citygate. I just use it as a transfer point to the MTR and also because it's the nearest shopping complex to the airport area, we've no other alternative when staying at Chek Lap Kok.  Downtown's too far to visit just to grab a bite.

DAY 1:  MANILA-HONGKONG (no meals)

^sis, ayaw mong i-DIY yung trip nyo? Mas makakatipid ka pa and since matagal pa naman yung trip nyo pwede kang mag-backread to the max dito sa HKG threads. Marami kang tips makukuha and matutulungan ka rin na makagawa ng IT. But if DIYing is not your cup of tea then travel agency ka na nga.

actually sis na-try ko ng mag-DIY. SG trip namin ni hubby last year.

it was a breeze kasi merong gothere.sg. and since pareho kaming adult, at 2 lang kami, kering maglakad at mawala minsan. hehe

but since we'll be travelling with kids, mas type sana naming mag-agency. para wala na intindihin.

may ilang questions lang ako re sa free-time namin sa first day, what to expect sa Dongmen and where to kill time before our flight.

sana may makatulong sakin.

nag-email lang ako sa agency to provide me with options na pwede ipalit sa Silka far East. wala pa kasi ako nabasang magandang review dun.

Dongmen is a shopping place, wholesale type siya, may ilan na retail din pero dapat magaling kang tumawad as in kalahati ng price, may mga stores din siyang fixed price na, dala ka ng rmb =D  yung mga tinda sa mongkok na new town mall yung name, makikita mo dun, kasi daming taga hk ang bumibili then binebenta duon.

About sa free time first day, you can go to TST, Mongkok, depende kung anong type mong gawin.

as per the agency, pwede kong option na ipalit sa Silka Fareast is either Panda hotel or Silka Seaview. I'm gearing towards Silka Seaview. ok ba dun? pa-comment naman po sa naka-try na on both. pero i read na puro maliliit nga daw ang rooms sa HK.

as for the free time sa 1st day, we might go to Mongkok for lunch. Early check-in na lang ng baggage sa hotel. we'll be arriving kasi around 11am siguro sa hotel. check-in is 2pm pa.

then Wax Museum. then dinner pabalik sa TST.

doable po ba? 

although matagal pa kasi yung tour namin, need ko na masettle para mareserve na yung dates sa amin.

Hi everyone. It's our 3rd day in HK right now. So far the weather's good. Anyone who went to Ngong Ping recently? We're going there tomorrow and my local friend told me the cable car's closed daw. How true is it? Hanggang ngayon sarado pa din?
