I have a few months gap muna before I revisit. Around October na plan ko. My daughter wants to celebrate her 7th bday in Disneyland but now she's asking us to take her to Anaheim Disney instead cos she's been to the HKG park... Ouch sa pocket! Gotta scout for more places there to explore. Nakaka-burn out naman pag paulit-ulit and di ko focus shopping. I've seen posts on FB of my friends from Hong Kong Airlines. They live at the Tung Chung area so they've been trekking up the Lantau trail the past few months. Seems very interesting!

sis iyaika, you're welcome! I was so worried about our itinerary din because of impending rain but buti nalang minimal changes lang. Your 2, 3, 4 are definitely interchangeable. Though I suggest going to the theme parks on a weekday. We went on weekdays and there were hardly any lines None at all nga sa Ocean Park Waterfront. Hehe!

Yep, the 2, 3, 4, are happening on weekdays. Thanks for the tip! Naku, I hope there won't be rain during the first week of April. And we might be dropping out Ocean Park from our itinerary because I'm going with the parents and two siblings and everyone except me don't seem interested with the place. Poor me. Haha!

Kapalit ng pag-leave out sa Ocean park e shopping na lang siguro. Geez.

hello guys. im currently here in macau taipa ferry terminal waiting for the trip to tst hk. Mabilis lang malilibot ang macau if you will not go or play sa mga casinos. we arrived here at around 9am and 5pm yung pabalik na ferry to hk.

yesterday we went to nan lian garden. ang ganda dun.  basta baba kayo sa diamond hill station then sa exit c2. mga 1 hour kaya na libutin. then after nun sa giant buddha ngong ping baba kayo sa tung chung station. nag lunch muna kami at naglibot sa citygate. medyo kinain ng oras namin yung citygate kasi sobrang mura ng mga bilihin dun. then mga 3pm pumunta na kami sa giant buddha medyo matagal din yung byahe via bus at nahilo ako sa bus i dont know why pero di naman ako byahilo. 5:30 nagsasara na yung paakyat ng giant buddha. after dun diretso kami sa central. daming murang shops dito at madami ding pinoy. may bdo at jolibee pa kaming nakita. hehe after dun umuwi na kami. madali lang lumibot basta alam mo saang station ka bababa.

hi guys. we'll be traveling to seoul this june and we have a 6-8 hour stop over in hong kong, can u recommend any parks/places/shopping centres/nice restos close to the airport? i was also wondering if disneyland is close to the airport and does anyone here know how to get there by bus/train? thanks in advance!!

Closest shopping center to the airport is Citygate in Tung Chung. Take the s1 bus. Hkd3.50 per adult.
Disney, fastest way to get there is by taxi. Hkd120-140 on the average. If 6-8hrs stop ka, depende sa pacing mo, the park is small pero Baka mabitin ka rin cos the lines get long at rides, too.

Hello guys. I just got back from HK yesterday anyway eto yung share ko sa trip namin:

5 days trip
Arrival Time in HKIA: around 10AM
Pocket money: P30K (for two people na) pero di kami masyado nag shopping

Accomodation: Lily Garden Hotel at Mirador Mansion. Arrived at around 11am pero pinapasok na agad kami sa room namin. almost 9K for 5 days for 2 pax na. 3rd floor yung reception then 7th floor yung mga rooms. Rooms are small pero kung tutulugan mo lang ok na. They have hot shower pero from 7pm-12noon lang. They also have aircon. We requested for a room na may window. Dalawang Filipina yung nag accomodate samin. Magkapatid sila kaso di na namin natanong yung name. The Mirador Mansion is very near sa TST MTR Station. Walking distance din sa avenue of stars, China Ferry Terminal yata yun (going to macau), Kowloon Park, shopping malls & other tourists spots.

Itinerary:

Snoopy World in Sha Tin
Mongkok, Ladies Market, Fa Yuen St. magkakatabi na to (we walked from mongkok going back to TST kaya nadaanan namin yung St. Andrew's Church pero sobrang layong lakaran to)
Symphony of lights sa gabi (di ako nagandahan)

Day 2
Ocean Park from 10AM-5PM (na suspend yung ibang rides due to strong wind)
Causeway Bay (stroll lang)

Day 3
Nan Lian Garden
City Gate Outlet
Giant Buddha (by bus pa din. 5:30 magsasara na)
Central (konting shopping)

Day 4
Macau via Cotai Jet 141HKD ang one way sa Cotai nga lang to pero madali na pumunta sa kabilang island (departure time 8AM, arrival time around 9AM) then we went back to HK mga 5PM
Mongkok again

Day 5
Mongkok again (kasi may hinahanap si hubby na sports equipment)
Central
Causeway Bay
Wan Chai
Flight going back to manila (we were able to take the earlier flight kasi nag tatransfer yung cebupac ng mga passengers lalo na kapag no show)

Food:
Pinaka favorite kong restaurant yung Chan Shing Kee Restaurant sa may Carnarvon St. katapat ng isang mall basta may nakasulat na girl zone at watson's wine sa tapat. kaso chinese yung nakasulat sa labas ng restaurant. I love their Soy Sauce Chicken. Madami na yung serving nila. Est 30-40 HKD yung meal namin.

Kung gusto nyo mag food trip ng mga street foods madami sa Dundas St. sa mongkok

Cosmetics:
Pansin ko lang mas mura sa Bonjour kesa sa Sasa

Shopping:
Masarap mamili sa Central at sa Argyle Center in Mongkok kung gusto mo ng mura.

Just got back from HK early morning today.  for those visiting HK in the next few days, better bring clothes you can layer.  paiba-iba ang weather.  minsan mainit, minsan malamig.  and if you're flying cebu pac, better be in the airport earlier than usual.  when we were flying back here, nagkaproblema kaya na delay flight namin and nag-iba 2x ng departure gate.  that's it for now, will post more in the next few days.  thanks for all the help! =)

Hi mga sis, is there other booking site for hongkong disneyland aside sa mismong website nila? will stay there for 1 night lang for experience.  Share ko lang...Will be staying at Golden Crown on May 1-5 pero we get 2 rooms na 1 family and 1 couple 4,000HKD total ...Taas ng rate ng 3 nights kasi chinese holiday... Mahirap din sneak in sa hotel  lalot t 4 adults kami with 2 kids baka masita....

mga sis, will be going to HK this March 29 to April 3..excited na ko! it's been a long time since I've been to HK so parang first time ko narin..anyways, advice kasi sakin since sa HK nako pumunta na kami sa Macau ng morning then gabi balik. Ang prob mga sis, ayaw ni bf!  di daw kakayanin ng 1 day ang Macau, according to his relatives.. tsaka mahal pamasahe papunta pabalik. dapat daw Manila- macau- HK- Manila. Eh ang sakin, andun ka na eh..diba? What can u say sisses?

^ I agree with you. Sayang yung immig stamps and chance to experience Macau kung di nyo pupuntahan. Also, if you plan your day well, kaya naman mapuntahan yung mga must-see spots.

^^since may ticket na kayo sis, pwede namang daytour ang macau pero mas ok kung at least overnight, mas masarap kasing mag-ikot don kasi halos lakad2x lang yong mga tourist spot. tama rin bf mo next time dapat manila-macau-hk-manila route nyo para hindi pabalik-balik. save sa time & money

Actually kami day tour lang sa Macau. 141HKD lang ang one way pati yung pabalik. so that is less than 1K php ang one way i guess. Dumating kami sa Macau ng 9am then bumalik kami ng ferry terminal at around 4PM kasi 5:30PM yung ferry pabalik ng HK. nalibot naman namin yung mga tourists spots dun yun nga lang di na kami masyadong lumibot sa mga hotels & casinos like city of dreams, grand lisboa, etc. maganda daw pag gabi dun dahil sa mga lights pero di na kami interested kaya bumalik na kami ng HK.
