Great post, K.S.V.! Didn't know there's a Charlie Brown Cafe in HK. I didn't get to visit the one in Seoul so I'd probably check this out.

sis onefineapril, when I booked kasi they had a promo in the website for the Enchanted Garden Breakfast if you book it with the room. I think meron din sila dinner naman. Check the Dining specials in the website or ask them through email kasi sometimes they have ongoing promos that are not yet or no longer posted on the site.

I thought the fee was also pretty high but here's how I look at it now. Sulit narin for 2 reasons:
1. It acts like a heavy brunch if you get the 930 seating. You can stay til 11am. So puwedeng kumain mga 1030-11 so that when you go, parang nag-lunch ka narin kasi they have a good variety. Hindi puro breakfast food. As in may rice meals and congee and noodles.
2. You get your photos with the characters without lining up. So you don't have to line up anymore sa Disney and it saves you time.

sis ms_ldr, You can reserve naman as long as you call the Disney Hotel for reservations. I don't think they accept online reservations kasi. That's what I was told.

^nakakatakot naman yan. i remember a similar incident posted here at GT of child snatching while inside the mall, pero local yun ha.  sa megamall yata?  naku, dito nga lang sa atin nakakatakot mawalan ng anak, lalo na shempre sa ibang bansa.

FoR both times I've stayed at Disney hotels, there was a discount for pre-booking breakfast with your reservation. Actually most times I check their site out, laging meron. Probably wala pag super peak season or when they change promotions.

DAY 1

7:45am - HKIA
9:00am - breakfast in airport
9:30     - AE/MTR to Wanchai (question: is it better to take the bus?)
10:30-1:00 - rest/lunch
1:30    - The Peak
4:00    - Nan Lian Garden
5:30-8:30   - MTR to TST for Ave. of Stars, Symphony of Lights, dinner
8:30    - ferry to Central (question: May ferry po ba going Wanchai?)

*is there any night market in or near Wanchai?

DAY 2

8:00 a.m. - MTR to Tung Chung for Ngong Ping Village
1:00 pm - Disneyland until fireworks

*ok pa rin po ba pumunta ng NP kahit wala yung cable car?

DAY 3

8:00 am - ferry to Macau
5:00  - back to Wanchai or maybe Mongkok or causeway bay

DAY 4

8:30 am - flight back to Manila

*question: since the AE opens at 5:50am and we should be in HKIA at least 2-3 hours before, what then is the best transpo going to HKIA? Thanks sisses!

hello again guys. day 2 in hk is very tiring. We went to OP. it was fun. hassle nga lang kasi nung pauwi na kami ang daming tao sa free shuttle dahil sinuspend temporarily yung cable car due to strong wind. 1 hour din yata bago kami nakasakay. after OP we decided to go to causeway instead of Jumbo Floating Restaurant. Nag mcdo lang kami sa causeway. di na kami masyadong lumibot dahil puro shopping stores lang ang nakita namin just like in tst. gabi na din kasi. then we went to mongkok again in ladies market to buy jacket dahil di ko na keri ang lamig kaso ang mahal pa din. mag divisoria na lang ako kasi almost same lang yung paninda pero sobrang mahal. wala din akong nabili. may ma suggest ba kayong bilihan ng jacket na mura lang? anyway, bukas sa nan lian at giant buddha naman kami. not sure kung saan pa. Thanks in advance.

I thought I was finished with my family's itinerary for Hong Kong already but upon backreading, I realized that I probably need to revise. Can you help me, sisters? I need to know which of these places could go together in a day based on their proximity to each other:

Ngong Ping
Victoria Peak
Ocean Park
Nan Lian Gardens
Snoopy World
Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens

I originally planned putting Ngong Ping and The Peak together while Ocean Park on a separate day. Is that ok?

^I think you need a whole day in Ocean Park. Some still try to go to the Peak after depending on the energy level But it's nice to spend late afternoon to evening at Peak because there's lots more to do than just look at the view.

Ngong Ping is not close to anything else except Disney and Citygate Outlets.

You can probably do a Garden day and go through Nan Lian, Chi Lin Nunnery, Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens and Hong Kong Park Then top it off with Peak from 5pm onwards.

Thank you k s v! That was really helpful. Gruesome to edit the itinerary. Haha! I think I need to leave out some things pero sayang.

With the looks of it, this is how our itinerary will go:

Day 1:
Arrive HK at 1pm
Check-in at hostel
Avenue of the Stars
Victoria Harbor
Symphony of the Lights
TST or Mongkok shopping (Or window shopping muna. Haha!)

Day 2:
Macau (maybe until early evening)
Mongkok shopping

Day 3:
Disneyland

Day 4:
Ocean Park

Day 5:
Nan Lian Garden
Chi Lin Nunnery
Hong Kong Park
Hong Kong Zoological & Botanical Garden
The Peak

Day 6:
Ngong Ping (probably until lunch or early afternoon?)
Check out from hostel at 6pm
Flight back to Manila at 10pm

Compulsory every night (window) shopping and days 2, 3, and 4 are interchangeable depending on my family's preference. I don't know if this is do-able but seems like naman ano? Hahaha!

hello mga sis.. advice lang po: ingat sa mga pupunta sa HK, Macau or China na kasama ang kids.. huwag maging victim ng child trafficking .. never leave your kids anywhere unattended in places like washrooms, amusement rides, parks, toy stores, etc.

sis iyaika, you're welcome! I was so worried about our itinerary din because of impending rain but buti nalang minimal changes lang. Your 2, 3, 4 are definitely interchangeable. Though I suggest going to the theme parks on a weekday. We went on weekdays and there were hardly any lines None at all nga sa Ocean Park Waterfront. Hehe!
