Im here in HK right now. Super lamig - 13C kahapon and ngayon. Though medyo iinit na raw ng onti in the coming days. Siguro mga 16C ganun. Anyway, halos lahat dito nakaboots and winter wear. Bubble/gur jackets kami naka sweater and cardigans lang haha naunderestimate namin yung weather :p

^ We're here too Just arrived yesterday. The weather cooperated yesterday so I made a quick iti change and went to Nan Lian, Chi Lin Nunnery and Peak na agad. Buti nalang kasi when we woke up today, umuulan!

I took the advice of sis marose and made it a tanspo field trip for the kids. In 1 day, they experienced riding the airplane, double decker bus (a21), subway, ferry, ding ding tram, peak tram

I'm loving The Salisbury! Our view is amazing! Got the harbor view room and super worth it. happy_pomelo, don't change your mind na! Hahaha! There are 4 of us and malaki yung room for HK standards. Kaya we're enjoying it muna this morning since it's raining outside. May welcome fruit basket pa of 2 bananas, 2 apples, 2 oranges.

About Nan Lian and Chi Lin: It was really worth the visit. Dapat sana an hour lang kami but the garden was so beautiful and relaxing. Tapos sarap ng weather to walk around. The Nunnery was so peaceful too. Even the kids enjoyed it. Akala they'll get bored but he had so much fun exploring too and looking at the giant kois in the pond So if you're not pressed for time, spend at least an hour and a half here. Pero if walk around lang, an hour is fine.

The Peak: Took us about 30mins in line. Even if it seems long, it moved fast naman. I thought the Sky Terrace view was worth the extra bucks too. We watched the Symphony of Lights from there. I'm sure it would be nicer watching it from Kowloon but it was a great add on to the the whole Peak experience. Going back, haba din ng line and it was sooooo cold and windy kasi the line was outside.

No problem with baby formula in your hand carry. Provided, of course, you travel with the baby, LOL. One time in HKG, I was the one carrying the baby milk etc. My hubby went ahead sa xray with my child. So naturally, when it was my turn to be checked, hinanap kid ko. I had 2 bottles with water kasi.

Thanks Sis Sweety and Rocky...how about salisbury-ymca isa kasi sa option? Pwede ba 4 adults sa 1 room kahit extra mattress. My friend will be coming from Singapore and we are computing the expenses...is it advisable ba na mag travel agency na lang para medyo makatipid, any suggestion po. They will be staying for 5 nights 4 adults with 2 kids.the other 2 adults will be coming here.  TIA

wrong move ata ako. nagbook ako cebu pacific one way (promo nila na 299 pesos) for feb 8 2013. ngayon, ang mahal na nang hk-manila. that time ang return was only 2,400. now aabot na nang 6,000 pesos. di na kaya magmumura yun mga sis? sayang.
