hi mga sis.  thanks for the reply.  were going on june 27 to 30.  ok lang samin hot and humid.  the kids survived last year's singapore trip which was very hot and humid too.

We want sana to try the Star Ferry, how to go there from The Peak? How much din ang fare?

sis, bus A21 yung papuntang Taisan Guesthouse right? i know 13th stop, pero anung landmark dun baka kasi magkamali sa count TIA

^^ You can take the tram parin naman from The Peak. Then take bus 15C to Central which stops near the Star Ferry where you can take the ferry to TST Or you can take bus 15 from Peak but it takes longer via bus.

u can use your octopus card sa tram at the Peak to go down. The Peak Terminus is far from the Star Ferry.. nag -cab lang kami kasi we didnt wanna walk anymore

^super steep talaga kaya in some areas, it's like you're leaning on your chair already. And the aisle is actually wavy to be steps pag naka-incline. But it's not scary at all kasi slow pacing Lang takbo Nya

^yes to both your questions. Perfectly safe. Both are slow rides, no shakes or any of the sort.

And true ba na bawal hawakan ang ibang items for sale unless you intend to buy?  Yung friend kasi ng mom ko ganun yung nangyari, they were checking out some souvenir shirts then nagalit yung chinese na may ari and were forcing them to buy the shirts na.

^sis, anywhere in the world naman it's rude to just touch/hold something without asking permission first  more so if you don't intend to buy it. Always ask permission first from the shopkeeper if you want to touch or hold the goods.

For those who may be interested in buying HKD, I'll be getting mine from BDO. They seem to have the best rates right now compared to Czarina and BPI. You can reserve over the phone when you call your branch but it takes 2-3 days to become available. All you need to present is your Passport, BDO Account Number and TIN. Rate nila today is 5.56 compared to Czarina which is 5.61 and BPI which is 6.0.

Mga sis, how long is the bus ride from tungchung MTR to po lin monastery?  Mga how much time is the usualy stay there?  I'm thinking of when and where to put it in our IT.

hello, i'll be travelling with my hubby and my 3yo daughter. it'll be our first time in HK and sa sept pa po ang trip namin.

im planning to use the sample iti na nahanap ko online, with slight changes lang kasi ayaw ko ma-haggard, lalo na may kasama kami na bata.

Day 1:
10am - arrival at HK
12nn - check-in at hostel at TST
The Peak OR Shopping
Avenue of the Stars
Symphony of Lights

Day 2:

Day 3:
Ocean park

Day 4:
Ngong Ping cable car + Giant Buddha

7pm - head to the airport
10pm - flight departure for Manila

may questions po ako:
1. medyo confused ako sa directions papunta ng The Peak.
-from TST, mag-MTR papunta ng central
-then from central, sakay ng tram papunta ng the peak
-tapos pauwi, tram ulit from the peak pabalik ng central
-then from central optional na mag-ferry na lang pabalik ng TST
tama po ba pagkaka-intindi ko?

2. i havent booked a hostel yet pero im eyeing TAISAN or GOLDEN CROWN. question lang din po, do they have cooking facility na pwede lutuan ng simple bfast meals? (corned beef or hotdog, egg, rice) plan ko po kasi sana magbaon ng food or mag-grocery sa HK ng konti para makatipid kahit for bfast man lang. meron ako nabasa na may free rice Taisan -- how do we avail that?

3. on shopping: balak ko lang po mamili ng konti sa sasa, watsons, adidas & giordano/bossini. should i do the shopping on Day 1 around TST or do it on our last day na lang sa citygate?

4. can somebody give me an idea how much po ang ladies & men's polo shirts tsaka jeans sa giordano / bossini outlet store? may mabibili na ba akong polo shirt around P350-400 and jeans for around P500?

5. yun pong The Peak, better po ba to do it ng Day 1 or last day na lang?

1. How much is the MTR fare from Mongkok to Disneyland?  Disneyland to Central?
2. How much is the MTR fare from Mongkok to Tungchung?
3. How about bus ride from Tungchung to Po Lin Monastery/Ngongping Village?
4. MTR fare from Mongkok to Central?
5.  Pwede ba lakarin Central to Admirality or ride the MTR parin? How much?
6.  How much is the bus ride from Admirality to OP?
7.  Meron ba bus from OP to Wan Chai? (Plan to go to Golden Bauhinia Square after OP to watch the SOP)
8.  I know SOP starts at 8pm.  Until what time matapos? (Para makawatch kami kahit di masimulan.)
