how  much ba sa hotel benito? Nakita ko yun dun ako lagi naglalakad

When we stayed there last Feb17 to 20, 3 nights sya, we paid PHP16K plus butal. Standard room is HKD1000 plus 10% vat. pero in peso 16k na sya kasama na 10% dun. ok sa hotel benito. malinis. may coffee station. pero yun free bottled water, on your first day lang kahit ilang days ka pa magstay sa kanila. weird noh.

suggest ko lang din mga sis, if you're looking for hotels, try hotelcombined para andun na lahat ng sites from booking, agoda, laterooms etcetera...para maganda rin ang comparison nyo. minsan kase sa booking wala na tapos sa agoda meron pa. at least sa hotelcombined, kita nyo na agad.

sisses, if you need HKD, call Czarina's and tell them you'll pick it up sa head office. i've tried it twice and laging may available na HKD

Called Czarina nga din and they said usually 2-3 days waiting period if to be picked up at a certain branch. I still haven't decided on how much HKD and how much USD to bring. Hahaha! 

Checked the weather forecast and looks like there are more sunny patches next week. Sana naman totoo. Mukang I will have to move the Peak trip to Sunday kasi rainy ang forecast ng Saturday. ^sana when you come here, ok na sa Peak. yesterday zero visibility eh. so yung mga friends ko nasayang lang pagpunta walang nakita puro fog lang sa pictures..

if meron dito naghahanap ng budget accommodation meron ako nakilala nagpapa-rent ng room. sa Jordan yun, tapat ng MTR station lang. my friends are staying there ngayon.

^^ It really depends on what attractions you plan to visit and which hotels you are comparing. As long as your hotel is close to an MRT station, you wont have a problem going around HK

Hi girltalkers, my family and I just arrived from hongkong last night. Thank you so much to all the sisters who gave their inputs. Pinoy Exchange Forum also helped me alot in preparing my Itineray but I cant give back to that thread cause I forgot my username and password. Anyway, Below is our actual itinerary from Feb 25-29, 2012

Day 1

540 - 730 - arrived in HK airport. Super cold. Well, lamigin din kasi ako.
-took the A21 bus against my will. Kasi I wanted to go to ngong ping na kasi sira cable so magbubus kami. Eh almost two hours ang balikan. But my hubby's cousin insisted. Hmmp
-checked in at Golden Crown. Left our Bag since we arrived before check in time. Mr. Teh father of kenny was there.  I paid the balance.
-Went to Ngongping village (took the MTR then Bus 23 en route to ngong ping village). Super foggy so di namin masyado naappreciate ang ngong ping.
-Went back to the city en route to the Peak. Whoah long line buti nalang I bought tickets from Mr. Teh. There was a separate line for ticket holders. Pero mahaba pa rin line. Super tagal namin nakasakay sa tram. Masaya. Namangha kami sa peak tram. kasi pataas at parang bumabaliktad na mga buildings. Di rin namin nappreciate ang the peak kasi nga foggy. Kumain kami sa bubba gump. Sayang talaga ang view. Pero ok na rin. Then on our way back to the lower terminus, mahaba din pila at super cold. I had to wear the socks of Hubby.
-In TST, naglakd lakd kami. Tapos bumili na ako ng boots kasi di ko na kaya lamig. Nagalit anak ko kasi I had three months to research tapos di daw ako nagready. hahaha.
-nagpahinga na kami at 1030 pm or so. Ok naman room. Pwede na. Value for money.

Day 2
-Nan lian garden at yung monastery, Natuwa anak ko. Para daw scene sa chinese kung fu movie. hehe. Nagpose pa siya parang bruce lee
-Bumili kami ng ticket sa CTS sa Holiday plaza, yung mall near the MTR exit.
-Then nag ocean park kami. Natuwa ang mga adults hehe at yung kid ko, except me kasi, hardcore for me ang mga rides. hehe..
-For the night we went to temple street to eat and shop.

Day 3

-Macau
- Harbour City to buy Hubby's tab and my LV palermo.. Hahaha
- Mongkok

Day 4
-Check out Golden crown
_ Check in at DIsney Hollywood
- Disneyland. ANg ganda ng fireworks. Huh. ganda talaga at bumalik ako sa pagkabata. Si hubby and cousin nangangantyaw kasi natutulog nalang sila sa mga attractions and shows.
- Tulog na kami kasi very cozy ang room

Day 5
-Check out from Disney hollywood
- Shopping at Citygate. Boy , good thing we only have one day for shopping kasi naubos pera namin, Grabe..But I love shopping....!!!!
-Check in at the airport and naubos na naman pera ko sa Airport. Grabe. Marc jacobs coin purse and cosmetic bag 250 dollars total. I hope i was not ripped off kasi di ako nakapunta sa shop nila sa hehe..

All in all, Im broke but I am super happy.. more so that my 12-year old son is soooo happy....Bon voyage everyone...

is it better to do disney and check in at the disney hotel on the first day of the trip or mas ok ito sa last day? if last day, check out at the hotel is at 11am and our flight is 9pm at night, saan puwede magstay within the area?  tia!

^^ You can leave your luggage at the hotel and go to Ngong Ping or Citygate first. Unless you awnt to bring your luggage with you and leave them sa lockers so you don't have to go back to the hotel before going to the airport.

I put Disney hotel on our last day kasi we got the 2-day pass and I wanted Disney to be the last thing the kids remember before going back home

^high-end: I'd recommend Elements in Kowloon. You'll find everything there. Pag may konting mix, you could also visit Harbour City at TST or IFC at Central...all of these are at/near MTR stations.

[textspeak!], thanks for answering my queries =)  will it just be you and your kids?  i'll be with my husband but it's our first time to travel with the kids without help kaya medyo stressed kami hehe.  will the tot tracker fit a 6 year old too? you've got a point about disney.  will definitely move that to our 2nd to the last day na lang.  super thanks!
