^before I left manila  goldencrown prize was 30hkd cheaper but when I went to their hostel it became 370hkd they must have change it recently. 

^ sis if may maliliit na kids kang kasama don't buy all dahil baka mapagod at umayaw sayang ticket mo.  Yung anak ko biglang ayaw pumunta ng ocean park buti na lang hindi pa ako bumili ng ticket or else sayang money ko. 

12-15degrees today so happy I was able to survive the day na naka slippers lang sa labas and may manila shirt parang Baguio na today, yesterday Tagaytay.

I told my plan to travel solo to my family. Biglang gustong sumama nung brother ko and wife niya. Sabihin lang daw when so kung matuloy baka mag-Novotel nalang kami kasi may complimentary night stay naman ako dun plus discount so bababa na yung price. I don't think carry kasi nila guest house ang tirahan.

What's the weather ba on June? Like mga first week?

^Mainit kapag June alam ko.  Oo sis huwag ka na dito feel ko may something dito kasi lagi tumatawa yung anak ko kapag tulog sa gabi dito samantalang sa house namin  hindi naman siya ganun.

feb is the coldest month in hong kong. OO nga eh buti na lang hindi umiiyak and yung tawa last night and nung isang gabi same na same.

Almost done narin ako with my iti. Ayoko nang ilipat yung Disney days even if walang Lion King show. Napagod na ako magmove kasi and ayoko talaga ng weekend sa Disney. Balik nalang ulit pag may seat sale. Hahaha!

Share ko lang yung sa airport , ingat lang kayo mga sis don't put your money in your pocket yung katabi kong pilipina kanina naglagay ng 20k php sa pocket niya nung kinapkapan pinalabas yung money and yung mga tao sa airport natin gustong kunin yung 10k kasi daw 10k lang ang limit na pocket money, she said she cried and said she will just cut her 10k php kung hindi niya pakikinabangan and ang sabi sa kanya pahingi na lang ng meryenda 1k php.

SISTERS, as a seasoned traveler, sasabihin ko sa inyo, it's 10,000USD AS IN AMERICAN DOLLARS, hindi pesos. As usual, nangungurakot nanaman yung mga tao sa airport. Honestly, tarayan niyo lang yan, and pag tinakot nga kayo, ask them to show
 you the written rules. It's written in the customs declaration papasok ng Philippines, that you should declare your money if you are carrying USD 10,000 and above.
Wala naman masyadong mabibili ang php 10k abroad eh, so it's really not a big big big amount.

P.S. My hubs says for you to check your departure cards, dun nakasulat anong pwede and anong bawal.

It says typhoon season starts May, sana wala ulan or typhoon on May 8-11.  First time ng son ko travel.

Currency Regulations

It is illegal for any incoming or outgoing passenger to bring in or out Philippine Pesos in excess of P10,000.00 without prior authority from the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.  Any violation of this rule may lead to its seizure and civil penalties and / or criminal prosecution.

The transportation of foreign currency or monetary instruments is legal.  However, the carrying of foreign currency in excess of US$10,000.00 or its equivalent in other foreign currencies must be declared to a Customs Officer or the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas.  VIolation of this rule may lead to seizure and sanctions, fines and / or penalties.

Yes, the amount is obsolete (not even enough for shopping or buying a plane ticket) but there is an existing rule on it. Personally, I just carry PHP for terminal fees and the rest in USD, and ATMs n credit cards.

^Correct! The 10K in PHP may be an obsolete amount in terms of shopping but rules are rules. Customs/immigrations can seize any excess amount if caught. If you want to bring more than 10K you should get an authorisation from the BSP otherwise gandahan mo ng tago para di ka mahuli 

While foreign currency in excess of 10K should be declared otherwise they may be seized with corresponding penalties imposed.

^oo sis, hindi man laging nagchechek pero sorry ka na lang pag natyempuhan ka alam mo naman ang mga tao dito hanggat makakadilehensya sa tao, gagawa ng paraan. hindi man lang maawa sa kapwa pinoy.

^nung nagpunta kami kota kinabalu, more than P10k din dala ko buti nabasa ko yung poster sa entrance ng airport na bawal nga maglabas ng more than P10k so pinapalit ko agad ng ringgit dun sa forex bago nagcheck-in.

So I guess the best thing to do is just bring Php for terminal fees and whatever you need to pay in the airport here lang. Then the rest USD And separate the cash between huby and yourself (if travelling as a family) para it does not look so huge. Thanks for all the info! Less than 2 weeks nalang for us haven't called Czarina pa nga.

2way naman yung free shuttle service ng airport express right? Balak kasi namin na sa last day naman yung ngong ping so mag early check out kami them free shuttle to kowloon (wait pano ko pala malalaman yung free shuttle ng airport express?) tapos leave the luggage sa luggage counter (meron daw dun) tapos punta na kami sa ngong ping then balik ng kowloon to take the airport express pabalik ng airport.

Here's my iti: day 1 10am arrival (kung hindi delayed) gaano katagal yung airport express?
                              2pm citygate outlet
                              7pm tst, avenue of stars, symphony of lights
                     Day 2 disneyland
                     Day 3 ocean park, the peak, daan ng ifc mall
                     Day 4 ngong ping  8pm pa departure

Ok lang ba yan? Balak ko magdala ng portable/foldable chair para sa kids may alam ba kayo kung saan meron nun? Yung pwede ilagay sa bag? Thanks

i have a friend whos in macau now pero nag message sya sakin about her flight na supposed to be last thurs.

ang alam ko by 9pm dapat nasa macau na sila, naalala ko nga by 6pm nagstat pa sya sa fb na si sen. jinggoy daw nagcecebu pac din pala

then suddenly nagmessage sya sakin yesterday sa fb.. saturday ng madaling araw na daw sila nakadating sa HK. dineplane daw sila nung thursday! hindi pa ayos kwento nya so pagkakaintindi ko friday ng gabi na sila nakalipad, at sa hk sila lumapag.. 0 visibility daw kasi sa macau..

sobrang stressed daw sila! yung booking nila sa hotel in macau, cancelled. tapos hk muna sila so dala nila maleta nila sa disneyland nung sabado.. tapos instead na monday tues pa daw pwede magpabook..

hassle talaga yung trip nila nadala daw sila!
