^sis, magkalayo sila. ang malapit sa disneyland yong giant buddha kaya yon ang pwedeng pagsamahin sa isang araw. kung 6pm flight nyo pabalik hindi na kayo pwedeng mag-disneyland. nan lian garden na lang & last-minute shopping ang pwedeng gawin kasi baka maiwan kayo ng plane

Naku, muntik na pala kami hindi umabot sa Peak Tram! Dapat 1st or 2nd day namin go na agad.

Sayang nga kasi the Festival of the Lion King will be unavailable from March 12-30, 2012. Routine maintenance in Theater in the Wild) according to the website.  We'll be in HK March 10-14 kaya lang I wanted to go to Disney on the last 2 days para weekday, di masikip. But now, unavailable yung show. Is it super worth it ba? Should I change our dates to March 10-11 instead?

Maganda siya sis parang musical stage play. Mas ok kasi diba if you're going to a place the first time, lahat ng attraction of that place makita/maexperience mo. POV ko lang

AT last we are now here at Hongkong, we arrived at 720pm 40minutes late due to air traffic.  I'm so happy that I didn't have the hard time na makuha ang mga need ko.  People here are helpful they try their best to speak english, nagugulat sila marunong pala ako mag mandarin hehe!     Buti na lang walang nagalit sa akin after ko silang pagurin mag english I will translate their answer in mandarin.  Well, about hk taisan, kainis!  Ang pangit ng room regarding the size walang problem kaya lang no CR and the room given to me is in penthouse ang tirik ng stairs sabi nga ng anak ko kay ate yolly " kasi naman hindi yun stairs eh ladder yun!" nahulog kasi siya sa ladder este stairs    They promised to give me another room tomorrow na mas maayos if not I will go to another place.  Hopefully may makita pa ako, I can not risk my sons safety in exchange of few thousands. And another thing this pc doesn't have an internet connection and I've called her attention 3x and ate yolly doesn't even bother to help me sabi lang ng sabi may papaakyatin siya pero wala naman dumadating, buti na lang meron guest dito na marunong sa computer ayun pinaayos ko if not I can't update my husband about our status here.  Yun lang sa mga sisses natin na naghihintay ng review ko about HK Taisan I would say huwag dito!  This  hostel might have the best location but not the best service. 

about the weather 20degrees today parang tagaytay but umaambon. carry na agng hindi mag jacket sa mga taong hindi lamigin but sabi ng katabi ko sa plane last sunday daw 12degrees in short pabago bago. 

Share ko lang yung sa airport , ingat lang kayo mga sis don't put your money in your pocket yung katabi kong pilipina kanina naglagay ng 20k php sa pocket niya nung kinapkapan pinalabas yung money and yung mga tao sa airport natin gustong kunin yung 10k kasi daw 10k lang ang limit na pocket money, she said she cried and said she will just cut her 10k php kung hindi niya pakikinabangan and ang sabi sa kanya pahingi na lang ng meryenda 1k php.

Dahil sa hk taisan, I'm not sure tuloy if I will go to Disneyland tomorrow or  shop for another hotel

I wasn't able to sleep dahil ang kati ng kumot sobra! haay....I hope we have the powers to go out later.

^ay, sobrang nakaka-stress naman yang experience nyo sis sa taisan. kakasira ng bakasyon regarding sa airport, dami talagang humihingi ng lagay jan. as in kung ano2x hanapin syo para lang makadelihensya sila. pero dapat kasi 10k pesos lang ang allowed na dala mo palabas kaya nga mas ok talaga na may dala ka ng dollar para walang hassle.

dami ng bad reviews diyan sa taisan branch na hawak ni ate yolly. pero ako nag taisan pa rin nung pumunta kami last dec pero sa granville branch pinili ko. dun lang naman sa branch niya may bad reviews.

If 10k pesos lang pwede bring, how about HKD and USD, how much can I bring out of the country? Kasi balak namin magpalit na ng HKD dito sa Pinas and bring some USD.

Questions about Peak Tram. What will I see after the Peak Tram ride going up?  Will I reach the Peak Tower? Ano makikita ko dun?  I don't plan to go in the Sky Terrace na eh kasi 10am pa opening.  Balak namin to go ride the Peak Tram after breakfast then proceed to Disneyland at around 10am para macompleto namin yun mga shows.  On the way yun diba?  From Mongkok station kami galing then go to Central, Peak Tram muna, then go to Sunny Bay to Disney line, tama ba?

^In my experience naman, nagdala ako ng more than 10k peso pero yung iba nasa luggage ko then may dala din akong dollars. Never naman ako na-question.

Sa lily garden guest house sa mirador mansion na lang ako nagpa book. super mura. I hope maayos naman. marami namang good reviews sa agoda. may nakapag stay na ba dito?

thanks for the heads up snowyice.  in all my travels, never din ako tinanong about money.  ngayon ko nga lang nalaman na bawal pala ng more than 10,000 whether dollars or pesos eh.  but i will take extra care this time since i'll be traveling with my kids for the first time.  i hope we don't encounter any problems with taisan harirela.  too late na kasi to cancel my booking kasi nagdp nako.  anyway, our flight is on march 21 na.  plan ko is just to bring my kids to disneyland lang then just wing it for the rest of the days.  madami bang parks na mapupuntahan along tst?  tia

bawal talaga more than 10,000 pesos and 10,000USd.  i don't know why. never din ako naquestion about money.

Has anyone tried staying at Discovery Bay? I'm thinking, instead of getting 2 hotel rooms for 4 days, I'll get an entire flat good for 8 persons with a kitchen. My husband and I are taking our 4 kids with us, plus an aunt is tagging along.

hello mga sis it's our third day here ang bilis ng araw, we went to Disneyland yesterday hay grabe before lunch up to mga 8pm umaambon. Mga  tao walang paki sa rain laro pa rin parang kami.  16-17 degrees yesterday nakayanan ko naman walang jacket and slippers lang. About HK taisan, we were transferred to another room lastnight it has it's own CR na the room is just enough for us parang masters bedroom ng mga new condos now with CR pero ang CR sobrang liit parang yung bath is 1sq mtr and yung toilet is 2.5sq mtr so kapag medyo malaman ka hindi ka kakasya. Yung blanket medyo makati pa rin.  Ang maganda lang dito may sariling pc and internet connection.

I went to Golden Crown yesterday to ask kasi nga sobrang inis ko sa taisan, may mga rooms available sila pinaparent  for walk ins 500hkd and partly nga nirerenovate nila and yung rate ng Disneyland nila sa site iba sa nakapost kapag nandun ka.

About sa pocket money, I brought 3 currencies with me and sa peso pa lang more than 10k na hindi naman na question kasi nasa wallet ko sa bag tingin ko basta huwag lang makita.

buti na lang when we went there last week hindi umulan or umambon man lang. we stayed at hotel benito sa cameron lane near cameron road. maganda location nya. near 7-11, yoshinoya, mcdo, kfc and just in front of the hotel is burger king. marami din shops dun. dalawa ata bonjour dun lang sa area namin at 2 rin ang sasa. 

maganda rooms sa hotel benito. malinis at ok naman ang hotel staff. i requested for an early check-in kase 10 pa lang andun na kme. inaccommodate naman nila kame agad. meron din kase na pinoy couple na kasabay namin nagcheck-in pero they had to come back at 2pm kase di pa ready room nila. kame kase nasa manila pa lang at a week before pa lang ng arrival namin, nagrequest nako.

sis snowyice, what do you mean iba yung price na nakapost para sa disneyland ticket? how much ang sinabi nila sayo when you went there? kasi di ba sa site nila 370hkd. sa kanila din kasi kami bibili eh.

sana naman tumigil muna ang ulan or ambon para maenjoy nyo ang stay nyo dyan at sana hanggang sa pagpunta namin makisama ang weather. 1st time pa naman namin lahat sa HK

Lapit na HK trip namin!

Ask ko lang kung ok lang na pag dating na sa HK kami bumili ng mga tickets to Disneyland, Oceanpark and The Peak+Sky Terrace+Madame Tussauds?  Sa CTS namin plan bumili and nabasa ko meron silang branch sa airport mismo.  Di ba kami mauubusan ng ticket nun kung same day lang kami bibili?
