As early as now, I am planning my daughter's 7th bday in Disney come Sept. Since they've visited the park before, habol na lang namin is to check out the Toy Story world area. Will be my 4th HKG Disney visit. Nakakasawa na esp the park's so small but it is here I break in my toddlers sa air travel so no choice. I should've gotten the annual pass na lang. Tsk tsk. Wrong move!

I'm checking out airbnb for accom options since we're a party of 7. Might be cheaper that way.

^Toy Storyland sis as in 3 rides lang dun. Tapos yung rc racer hindi pa pwede sa kids. so you will have the slinky dog lang and parachute drop for your kid to enjoy. IMO, nakakabitin ang toystoryland.. dapat dinamihan pa nila rides.

Hi mga sis! Ask ko lang reg'd disneyland, crowded ba kapag sunday or monday? We will be staying at yiufai hostel, nasa golden crown din siya, 550hkd per night... Thanks!

The Peak Tram will undergo general maintenance work, including the replacement of driving system components, next month. Tram service will be temporarily suspended from Monday, 12 March to Friday, 16 March 2012.

The Peak Tower and Sky Terrace will still be open, you just have to take the bus to get there.

^di naman, baka sarado pa yon. ok na yong 10am, basta pagdating nyo kuha muna kayo ng map & sked ng show. maganda yong golden mickey, philharmagic, lion king, it's a small world, parade & fireworks. papicture din kayo sa mga cartoon character. saka na kayo bumili ng souvenir pag pauwi na para hindi kayo magahol ng oras

hi sisses, will be in HKG on feb 29-mar 7.. will be staying with my friend sa central, it will be our first HK escapade. Ang area kasi ng friend ko is sa central, sa phone lang kasi kami nag-usap eto [textspeak!] address niya: FYP, Fei Ying Tun, HK.. Eto [textspeak!] naintindihan ko, guys alam nyo ba kung ano meaning ng FYP.. hehe.. thanks

was in hongkong with my kid last week. we went to disneyland and truly enjoyed the shows more than the rides.  galing ng production nila especially yun golden mickeys and lion king. don't miss those pag andun kayo.  too bad that i find hong kong people rude and unaccommodating. mas mababait ang tao sa singapore and macau. wanted to give the finger upon boarding the plane sa sobrang inis ko sa mga tao dun. when you don't understand or speak their language, good luck na lang.

and you would rarely encounter pinoys working in restos and establishments there. unlike sa singapore na every resto mapuntahan namin may pinoy kaya madali mag-order at makipagusap. sa hk, bad trip talaga. ang mga pinoy mostly nagwowork as DH dun. so less talaga ang interaction with them.

but i love the weather...

mga sis, ask ko lang malapit ba ang Ngong Ping sa Nanlian Garden? recommended bang puntahan sila in 1 day? eto kasi balak ko gawin namin sa last day namin in HK. light lang ba ang travel dito? flight namin is 6pm pa. pero hindi na pwede masyado nakakapagod na activity or place na pupuntahan kasi we have a senior citizen with us  we'll be staying in Golden Crown nga pala. i'll appreciate any inputs. tia!

^sis, magkalayo sila. ang malapit sa disneyland yong giant buddha kaya yon ang pwedeng pagsamahin sa isang araw. kung 6pm flight nyo pabalik hindi na kayo pwedeng mag-disneyland. nan lian garden na lang & last-minute shopping ang pwedeng gawin kasi baka maiwan kayo ng plane

oo nga eh pero my daughter wanted so much to see the giant buddha while i wanted to just ride the cable car.  babaw noh. sayang lang.

but it kinda gave us more time for other things since we only had 3 full days in HK.

How's the weather now sa HK, parang Baguio pa ba during December o parang Tagaytay na lang?

Also, is RMB accepted sa HK or strictly HKD lang?
