CHOIR for wedding ceremony

Our choir is a group of friends. Sideline nila ang pagiging wedding singers. 4 sila, 3 vocalists, 1 pianist. 8K + OOT. Their OOT is for transpo only.

Hello mga sis! I'm also looking for a children's choir for our wedding in Tagaytay. Sana Tagaytay, Cavite or Laguna based din para di na malayo ang mga bagets and no more OOT fee. I was thinking kung may alam kayong church or school na may magaling na choir in those areas?

You can try Anima Choir and Strings. Then you can get their ceremony + reception package that includes 5 singers plus a quartet to play music. Another very good choir is 92AD. But their rate is steep at 25k for choir only. Bernie Pasamba also has choir contacts that work with his musicians.

You can also clarify with the church if you really need a choir. I am quite sure the church will allow you to have just a solo vocalist. Church choirs are usually just a preference as it is really more costly.

Sis marelen how much budget mo for the ensemble? 23k ang quote sakin ng impressions music ensemble for both ceremony and reception..that's quartet..not to mention, their resident pianist is really good. my hubby used to work with him.

And yes, they do have a range of Christian worship/wedding songs.. which is a good thing. We didn't have trouble choosing the songs kase we knew what we wanted too like you on the first place.

^sis low budget lang ako, 5k? may friends naman kasi ako na pwede kumanta pero walang instrumentalist and i don't think they can squeeze rehearsals in their schedules. so i'm just scouting

rm1015: I really want a choir sana at the church. But to be honest I haven't decided yet and will perhaps not include a choir if we go way over budget.

Sis chili we had Anima choir for our ceremony and reception. I super love them sa church. Malaking reason kung bakit solemn ang ceremony namin dahil sa kanila. We availed the vocal quarter (1 did the piano) plus violinist lang so 5 in total. 18,500 nga ata when we booked them early last year. I really wanted a choir kasi sa ceremony. I think may separate rates sila kung ceremony lang.

Hindi ko na sila masyadong napansin during reception. haha

Same tayo sis Maple19, I booked them last january, 20k na ang rate nila for Vocal Quartet with keyboardist plus violinist. But 2016 p wedding ko.

Maple19: Thanks for the feedback sis!! I saw Anima's YouTube videos and really nice at church especially their acapella songs!! For Reception I really want Manila String Machine quintet but they have no singers for my church--- So what I might do is get a vocal quartet or quintet + Keyboard from Anima and make them perform with Manila String Machine. The price difference for ceremony only is very small +3k only. Sayang naman if I dont make them go to the reception heheh

So actually I am thinking of hiring Anima  as church singers and perhaps do 1 small set during cocktails and perhaps a mini-set for dinner. But the rest of the reception will be Manila String Machine.

But if I am over budget I might have to scratch both of the off my list heheeh It is much cheaper kasi to hire a strings group with singer part of the package.

Still looking for singers! We got Manila Philharmonic for quintet but their singers are an additional 6k each. Yikes, way out of our budget na since we'd like to get at least 3k sana. Ateneo Chamber Singers gave us a discount na pero still steep.
