mga sis baka meron kayo masusuggest na choir or string for church only na 5k lang? siguro max na yun 6k hehe budgeted lang kasi plan namin before magacoustic band pa sana sa reception pero baka magplaylist na lang kami since we still have to upgrade pa the sound system pag may acoustic. TIA!

Hi! Need advice.. I'm getting married at San Augustin Church-  -do I still need to get my own choir? Hindi pa ba  enough yung as church?

Magaling sila, narinig ko na silang kumanta sa Don Bosco Church once and sa wedding ng friend ko na nakapag asawa ng foreigner.

Their musical director/choir master ay si Miss Ma. Lourdes Hermo. Siya din ang may hawak ng Ateneo Glee Club.
 
As of now nasa Europe sila for a month and they will be back on April 27 (saw their facebook).

around 3pm kasi yung target namin sa church wedding so ayun, na-lost talaga ako kung kasama ang choir sa reception

hey sis not necessarily invite mo sila sa reception not unless you want them to sing sa reception as well (but better check baka iba rate na pag kasama reception)..they are one of your suppliers.. and you paid them naman.. usually sa reception ang suppliers crew meal.. not included sa guests..

this based on my experience sa wedding ng friend ko..

Hi kikai! yaaan, at least indi naman lolobo yung budget sa reception pala. baka sa Church na lang siguro yung Virlanie if ever available sila. ang habol ko lang kasi talaga yung mga Church songs kasi nakakatindig balahibo talaga nung nakarinig ako ng children's mass. hehe.

Tama po yung sinabi ni Kakai nasa inyo kung i-invite mo yung choir sa reception or sa simbahan lang. Sa case ng friend ko, sa simbahan lang po yung choir nila.

recommend ko yun samin mga sis 16th of december mga sis. 20 sila lahat mura sila from san pablo laguna. tagaytay wedding ako 20 sila 15K charge nila sakin. ang galing nla nakakakilabot as in. yun coordinator ko (events by thoffy) asked their contacts kasi rerecommend nya sa iba. galing kasi.if interested kayo pm nyo lang ako for contacts.

Mga sis, I know a choir that charges 8k for Quezon City weddings. Dating member si hubby and they are now offering Double quartet na with pianist, church only. 

We hired them to sing on our wedding last 2008 so alam kong hindi ako mapapahiya magrefer. PM me your contact # & email address so i can have them send you their rates & song list.

yung group ko na lang kunin ninyo, we'll try to accommodate kahit weekdays yan...haha! sorry kung bawal to..

anyway, yes, okay naman na church lang. ang alam ko sa iba nagiiba yung rate kapag kasama pa sa reception and iba pa din yung transpo allowance, unless ipasusundo ninyo. pero bihira pa naman ako makapunta na kasama kami sa reception. usually, after ng wedding, iaabot na nang coordinator yung fee and go na. depende rin sa location, may clients na nagpo-provide nang food.

kung sa magaling or hindi, try ninyo kausapin din yung group kung pwede na makinig sa kanila like bisitahin sa rehearsals or kung saan man sila mag-perform.

pwede ninyo rin kausapin bukas palad and hangad from jesuit music ministry, may websites/facebook sila or try ninyo mag-inquire sa jesuit music ministry. may contacts sila doon.

hi sis. i can recommend somebody na baka pasok sa budget mo. ok lang sayo not so pros but good enough for a mass?

Hi mga sis! Finally got a reply from Virlanie Children's Choir. Apparently, nagtaas yung rate from 10k to minimum of 20k to 100k donation fee. Parang I need to look for another children's choir. Balak ko sana gayahin yung ginawa ng isa nating sis dito na nagdala ng food and children's clothes sa Virlanie. Pero kung at least 20K na sila plus yung food and children's clothes.. mukhang di kakayanin as of now ng budget.

okay sana yung Virlanie Children's Choir, i watched some youtube performances by them.. pero kalurkey yung minimum nila na 20k.
