CHOIR for wedding ceremony

Hi everyone! Please help. I am in search of a choir just for the ceremony. it's a garden wedding. 8-10 members will do.  wedding is in antipolo.

Please post here if you know any choir group na ok, or if you can recommend any choir na nakita nyo na mag-perform.

sis if you will be interested, i know a childrens choir from virlanie foundation... they charge 10k... kumbaga if you will get them, you're helping the foundation at the same time.... if you want i can give you theire contact details... magaling daw sila kasi nakakanta na sila sa wedding ng pinsan ko (i was not able to attend that time)

My coordinator also suggested Anima Choir. Ok ba talaga sila live? Saw some vids of them online and ok naman, but that's just YouTube, so I don't know how they are in real life.

My dad's one and only request for our wedding was a good choir for the church, so I really don't want to let him down. Am now considering Philippine Madrigal Singers, Hangad, Anima Choir. I don't know who else has super good vocals. Not that money is no object, but I wouldn't mind splurging on this one. Pls help!

Hello sisters! My h2b was once (as in saglit lang) a member of Anima. I have recordings of some of their songs when they joined a competition and they sound really good. Some members of Anima are Madrigal Singers alumni, and some though not alumni but are just as equally good.

Having Philippine Madrigal Singers for our wedding is our greatest dream. The thing is, they have hectic schedules because of their out of the country tours, and for this year, they are hosting a festival because they are celebrating their 50th founding anniversary. I think nasa at least 70k ang rates nila..yata. But I think you can request a half-cast...yata.

I have another choir to suggest.. Voices of Peace.. the choirmaster was an alumna of the Philippine Madrigal Singers. They are charging 20k yata because marami sila, and you might want to "haggle" a bit if you dont need mga 20 singers. If interested kayo, I can forward your queries to the choirmaster.

Ay may isa pa kong choir that might interest you. Vocalismo Choral Group (VCG). I just don't know their rates but guaranteed magaling sila. One of them is the cast b Tuptim of The King and I musical, and most of them are music professionals. They are "based" in Santuario de San Antonio (Forbes Park, Makati). Their choirmaster is Lester Delgado. They have been touring in SG and Malaysia for a few years now. We heard them live. Magaling rin talaga sila. I am FB friends with their choirmaster (and two other members, dating officemate ko yung isa, and the other is Tuptim) and I can ask for their rates if you need it.

hi sis. personally im not familiar with the format of a Christian wedding. sa Catholic kasi usually, the wedding is inside a Holy Mass kaya mas ok talaga if it has the works, nice music and all. but if a Christian wedding do not need a lot of music (like, meron lang sa bridal march siguro and after na picture-picture na lang), then i guess a wedding singer and instrumentalist should be enough.

sis caterpillar-girl i suggest you call them tapos ask them kung saan yung mga church gigs nila para pwede mo pakinggan. ganon ginawa namin so narinig namin sila sa san agustin. medyo haggard lang yung wedding na pinakinggan namin dun kasi late na nagstart, so yung mga sung parts ng mass, di na kinnanta! mga tatlong kanta lang narining namin from anima

May mga videos din sila sa youtube. di namin sila kinuha kasi di swak sa budget namin eh pero gustong gusto talaga namin sila. Mejo matagal lang sila sumagot sa mga emails so better kung tawagan mo sila for rates.

thanks, kathau19! will look at their videos by any chance, may alam ka din ba na children's choir for the church naman? naalala ko kasi i was able to attend a Children's Mass a looong time ago. And kinilabutan talaga ako when I heard them. Ang galing din. Kaya lang yung Church na yun is malayo sa target church namin. hehe.

speaking of children's choir.. pano ba yung policy nila for singing at weddings? I mean pano yun pag weekday yung wedding.. siyempre ayoko naman maabala yung studies nung mga bata. Hehe.
