^I agree as well.  Hindi kailangan ng pa-wholesome na image para magustuhan ng mga tao (fr children to senior citizens).  Na-involve na rin siya sa mga scandals (e.g. kissing video w/ Richard G, wardrobe malfunction, etc.) pero hindi nawala ang amor niya sa mga tao. I've always liked her. Wala kasing tinatago eh.  Never rin siyang nachismis na may inaway, nabuntis o nagpa-abort. Super like ko talaga si Anne.

Anne temporarily leaves 'It’s Showtime'

Anne Curtis has temporarily left the ABS-CBN noontime show “It’s Showtime” to “pursue” her dream.

On May 24, Thursday, Anne tweeted, “This is it! Bye Manila!!! See you in a month! Tweet you in a bit! ♥ pray for me please♥.”
A few hours later, Anne tweeted that she is in Japan for a stopover en route to her final destination.

Anne turned emotional when she announced in “It’s Showtime” on Wednesday, May 23, that she will be gone for a month to pursue her dream. She said that this“new challenge” is a “very big step” for her.

'Very big step'

“Meron po akong gagawin. This is a very big step for me. It’s something na gusto kong i-pursue sa dreams ko. Basta bagong challenge ito sa life ko at para rin naman po sa inyong lahat at sa mga followers ko,” Anne said.

The actress-TV host added that she can’t divulge what her next project is for now, but promised to reveal it when the right time comes.

She thanked the staff and her co-hosts in “It’s Showtime” for understanding and supporting her dreams.

“It’s something to do with pursuing my dream. It’s a new chapter in my life, something that’s challenging. I just really, really want to do it,” Anne said in Bandila on Thursday, May 24.

Promise to return

Anne promised fans she will be back after a month, and that she’ll definitely miss her “It’s Showtime” family and the “madlang pipol.” She was also touched by the show’s farewell party for her.

“I promise to really come back. Babalik ako, may teleserye pa akong tatapusin, may pelikula pa akong tatapusin. I really have to come back, may kontrata ako so kailangan kong bumalik.”

There are speculations that Anne’s departure has something to do with a Hollywood film.

Entertainment reporter and host Ogie Diaz tweeted on Thursday, May 24: “Truth: 1 month mawawala sa bansa si Anne Curtis dahil naka-cast sya sa isang Hollywood film. Full length ang role.”

Anne reacted with a short tweet to Ogie: “Mali po kayo .” Ogie replied, “-- ok. Let's just wait and see. Pag mali source ko, magsosori ako. Pano pag tama?”

“All of you, just be patient. I'll let you know when i'm allowed to Just be happy for me,” she tweeted again.
